    Have you tried using pickling lime instead of garden lime?

    This is great , my wife and I really enjoyed it. Question, can you use this method on a brick house?

    • @HeyHoneysuckle
      @HeyHoneysuckle  Год назад +1

      I have taken mortar, mixed it with sand and water, then took a brick sponge and applied it to brick. It looked amazing. The hard part is you can’t tell exactly what it’s going to look like until it dries. So go easy. Let it dry. Then see what you think. You can always add more but it’s harder to take it off brick. Hope that helps!

    Can the pots be left outside in rain or will this wash the lime off?

    Maybe a silly question
    What sealer did you use on the pots?

    • @HeyHoneysuckle
      @HeyHoneysuckle  Год назад +2

      Not silly. I used krylon colormaxx clear flat spray paint. It’s an outdoor spray sealer. But I’ve used different brands. Just use a light coat multiple times!!

    Lame or lime?

    Nicely done. But I’d wear gloves to protect my hands, it can be drying for your skin.

    Better than this to get same results: and old and rustic pot. Take a pen:
    1) Fill your pot full of water and put it without sunlight
    2) wait 24 hours
    3) remove water and direct sun light
    4) repeat step 1 then let it dry
    Welcome
