Wow I cannot believe how easy you made this. After getting smoked by vorkath and seeing lots of other guides where they swit h prayers from magic to range and all sorts of running trickery. I was able to watch your video and beat vorkath right after. I almost teared because I was getting so frustrated with dying and paying 100k every death and felt like I just could not beat it unless my stats were higher. Thanks for the amazing walk through. Please do fire cape and infernal cape next!
I get the frustration you were in. Vork was a wall for me for a while too. Noticing the "safespot" was such a relief. Pretty sure I read something about one in the wiki, then watched a few full kills to look for what it meant (nobody mentioned it explicitly). Huge gzz on the accomplishment! I'm planning on a Fight Cave guide after the league, but do have a Jad guide available to show how to practice against him easily without a wait on the speedrunning worlds if that's the part you need help with.
This is honestly the best guide. Very descriptive as to what’s going on with the mechanics and uses gear on an account that seems reasonable for its stats.
I try to mimic what my first kill was like in the guides rather than melting a boss before any mechanics even happen. Helps learners to see a "realistic" kill, and scuffing my own gear helps.
That is a big point for me. Feels like "great" gear is needed, or it makes the kill time unrealistic for getting into a boss. It's also why Zulrah is taking some time.
did the quest a long time ago and just came back and forgot the whole fight. This guide really helped calm the nerves and got me to my first non-quest kill!
@nayronics amazing, it's the perfect walk through instructional and the gear you use shows that you don't need max gear to get along. It's honestly great I love it.
I finished the quest yesterday. Got quest vorkath down with literally 1hp remaining as I brought my heart rate back to normal. I’ve burnt 1.3m on 13 deaths on the post-quest dragon since… and I’m frustrated. But this guide helps massively. The counting is something no one else mentioned, and the calm tone is soothing. Thank you 🐉
Thanks so much, I was super scared to take on the GM quests, after finding your guides though I gave DS2 a shot and killed Vorkath on second attempt using your strategy. Seems rather simple now :). Galvek is next, hopefully it will not be much more of a struggle.
Could you do a zulrah guide like this? I've watched other guides but i'm still confused and just keep dying out. I could just have way too low stats for the fight (all combats 75-78) but i've seen others do the fight with even less.
Finally. I have just been looking for an answer on whether or not to use my void or ancient d'hide being only lvl 77 ranged. Thank you! Im still new to OSRS and im still on ds2... How are you hitting for 100?
The 100 is the special effect of the enchanted ruby bolts. They hurt the player for a percentage of hp to deal damage to a boss for a percentage of their hp, capping at 100 damage. Around 250-300 boss hp, the effect isn't as worth as much as the enchanted diamond bolts hitting through a bosses defence.
@@nayronics After some testing i think the ruby bolts are good until 200hp or even lower. I feel like the guaranteed 45+hit is better than the possible "67" i think i saw as a max for me with the diamond. It ignores defense, but isnt a guaranteed hit and sometimes hits for a 1. I have been switching at like below 200hp even like 160 and i think i still hit 40+. I could be wrong though.
Seeing your stats gave me confidence since my account is around the same level and this guide gave me all the info I needed to get my first kc, guess it’s time to grind out 50…
My guess is you're standing on a tile for a tick too long when you turn. I'd say to try turning around 1 second before it feels like you should (ie. try turning around on the 4th tile instead of the 5th). You only actually need 2 tiles to move between to be safe, so you have some wiggle room. Edit: Let me know if you still struggle, I can try and get a video example made for ya!
Thanks, doesn't look too hard. Counting to 7 is one of my least developed skills though, ruh roh. Going to tackle DS2 sometime this week probably, very helpful vid
Thanks for the feedback! Vork is a puppy when you realize it's only really watching for 4 attacks lol. Would a Galvek vid be something of interest? I want to downgrade the gear in this one to do Galvek. (Addy xbow, black dhide torso and legs, antidragonfire shield only with potions/food)
Yup, got quest version on the first try. 79 range and rcb. Got hit by the acid a few times, but managed. Was too distracted by hugeass hp bar and banger theme. Checked out your video on Galvek already, should be piece of cake. Thanks again for your help!
@@joerister Happy to help! Galvek is easier than Vork mechanically (1 real special attack to watch for over 2 that happen more often), he is just a longer fight.
Hey I was wondering just because it's relevant to me really I've been looking for a guide on volcanic mine and no one really shows were to go just kind of talks over some random clip from the mini game what are the chances of a volcanic mine guide?
Current plans: 1. Learning ToA, may be vid, maybe not. I've avoided spoilers other than boss names/images and obviously weapon rewards. Know nothing else. 2. Follow up Vorkath with a Galvek run. I struggled with him a few times and want to downgrade the gear from the Vorkath run, so why not. 3. Volcanic Mine Idk, give me... about a week for VM to be up? Sounds like a good estimate lol.
@@nayronics wow that’s insane, I’m a mobile only account so I was struggling to get 2 kill trips but I was using this earlier and now I get consistent 2 kill trips and if I get good rng it’s 3 kill trips
Try moving just a bit earlier than you are. His attacks should be landing right behind you, maybe taking a hit on turning around if you miss a tick. Only other thing I can think of that's happened to be hit more than 1 or 2 times at most was when lag happens and ya wake up in Lumbridge.
@@nayronics Gonna need a lot better gear and probably stats to make Muspah worth it. Ez enough to finish the quest, but to farm the boss gonna require a much higher investment. Otherwise farming Vorkath is way more time/cost effective. Without Tbow/Bowfa you are looking at 5 minute avg kills on Muspah, simply not worth.
100% agreed. I want to do a vid for Muspah, but in terms of money making, Vorkath is definitely the way to go. He's better for 99% of players and much more relaxed.
I’ve done vorkath but your video came on auto play just gotta say idk if it’s your voice or the way you explain things but I can retain it so much better lol
I'd assume it's just that I keep things simple. A lot of guides are overcomplicated (making the content seem harder than it is). A learner just needs the basics for survivability. Muspah is a good example with some guides saying bring X and Y for switches, 3 types of bolts, tick flick smite and protections in the shield phase, 3 or 4 plug-ins and tiles marked for tick perfect shots, etc. I said bring range, pray range unless he wiggles, then pray mage, ruby and sapphire bolts for the only switch, here's what to watch out for in terms of his like 3 "special attacks." Started making guides because I got tired of sitting through 5+ minutes of info just to finally get to an actual boss run where everything got repeated anyway.
It's in conceptualization. I'm thinking to keep with the simplicity style, only focusing on 1 of its rotations and resetting to get it instead of all 4.
It's what I had. Didn't feel like stopping by the ge. 2nd vid in my series, after here it's "minimal gear." Anyway, change to an addy/rune crossbow and an anti dragon shield, you should see about the same dps. The difference is minimal and DFS has negative range offense anyway, shield is just for the dragonfire protection. Send it on the gear you have. The fight is more mechanic knowledge than gear.
Move from the big fireball, turn on prayer again with pink one, and every seven attacks deal with walking or casting crumble undead. 4 things to react to!

@@nayronics mainly not doing enough dmg before i have to swap to diamond bolts, 80 ranged, will prob try again tho, i still cant believe galvek was easier than vorkath during the quest lmao
