Thanks! That was the goal since these started as "notes" for myself to return to content with and didn't need fluff for that. Apparently, it was a style that works! Give solos a shot! It was tough at first, bur after about an hour of feeling it out, I got my first kc. After simplifying it to this, I rarely lose with a colossal pouch and blood/death altar acess and using the setup shown here lost 2 in 23ish games. Also carried a duo comfortably with just the 3 pouches, so you got this!
@@iAutodidact I'd say so purely because solo/duo/small teams are much more fun and don't have to wait at the door. It should end up feeling the same since masses fail as well.
No plan to stop anytime soon. Ideal goal is to cover everything... big or small. Started it as a self reminder to revisit content lol (coll log/other accounts)
Been doing lots of GOTR recently on mass worlds (lvl 65 to 81rc). It's annoying when it fails sometimes when I start the game inside a portal (thereby not being able to setup barriers/golems as usual). Your vid eliminates that hassle and the wait times. 😁 Subscribed since I saw your guaranteed Tempoross, great work again. Keep it up! 💪🔥
Glad to share! The wait time to get in and feeling like I can't leave for a while when I get in kills my enjoyment of masses. Love being able to hop in and out as desired! Won't be stopping anytime soon!
Coming back to this as i can’t put off RC any longer. I appreciate that this is fairly sweat-free. I know NoCurrencies has a *very* in-depth guide with 10 points per game, but this is much more relaxed. I’ll take slightly longer games and fewer points with less effort!
Honestly I'll take the 1/10 fail rate and extra attention needed to avoid having to fight for a place in a mass world's singular instance and public chat. Seriously, though, the way you talk through these kinds of guides feels more understandable than looking at it in a written guide, so I super appreciate the work you put into them!
I have death/blood altars, so it's closer to failing 1/30 games due to the altar rng with them. After practice, it's about as relaxed as mass, but more engaging. Thank you for the feedback! I think I found an ok balance of keeping in only what is needed and "cutting" (speeding up) the fluff. I'd rather actually cut it out, but this way shows every step even if I forget to say something (I record live) and avoids the "cutting runs together" argument lol. Also glad I now do "bare minimum" gear in the video to try and live up to the series name lol
i swear gotr players are so weird, if even a fraction of the people waiting at the gate would just coordinate and hop worlds they could be playing, instead of moping around about the wait times lmao. great video brodie
Thanks mate! Literally hopped to try a solo and got close since I was bored waiting one day. Learned it, and now can carry others. It's fun to grab a small team from masses. GotR feels like Zalcano now lol.
Yeah.... the gate wait is why I don't mass too much now and learned this. I get a bit more xp and points soloing, then just go to mass worlds later to balance out the reward points.
Very cool man, solos are my favorite. Additional tips: >Make combo runes if you can >Don't get angry if you mess up, it happens to us all >Get the mining ring >Your energy is restored every time you make runes and heal the guardian >Blue and white golems only last ~30-45 seconds after creation >Its better to reset than it is to fail a long run >RESET IF YOU MAKE A SERIOUS MISTAKE, DONT DRAG IT OUT AND RESENT THE RUN!!! Sick guide dude, I hope to see solo runners because of you
Love to see the tips! I design these with minimum gear on display so content feels approachable by anyone. I'm also hoping to see solos/small games more frequently, just not too much to make all the world's taken lol.
okay, so I didn't know about those portals. This got me from failing to get past 30% Guardian Power to getting 60% on my first try. Finally I'll be able to manage a win.
@@nayronics I managed to hit a 98% before losing on 1 run after getting a Rune pick. Also hit 50 rc. Got close a few more times after tossing the junk in my inventory but lost to forgetting to restock uncharged cells
@@nayronics Finally managed my first win. They broke through the barrier but I had just enough time to charge the great guardian to 100%. No pouches and 6 inventory slots full because I'm a UIM. nature rune crafting in the game has been making me some solid money too, wouldn't have afforded my rune pick without it.
How do the creatures not come in through the parts where there's no barrier?? Every time i try to solo, the guardian dies bc i cant get the whole barrier done in time :(
Your built guardians should keep the abyss creature numbers down at the barrier for most of the game. The abyss creatures are attracted to only the front barrier until there are too many (like 8+), then they start creeping in from the sides.
I hope I can get good like this; half of my solo games fail at 80-100% energy due to a barrier breaking, or Guardians standing idle and not attacking monsters.
I struggled for 5 to 10games before getting a couple kc solo. Then it took around 15 solo wins to begin to get consistent. I believe in you! I have a lot of livestream footage available of my GotR solos if you want to refer to those as well.
@@nayronics Cheers man - I win around 80-90% of them now. I got around the issues of idle guardians by building weak/medium barriers adjacent to the main one between the fire and blood altars. A lot of times I'd lose around 20-25% energy in total from random monsters throughout the game, which meant that I was out of essence near the end.
It'll just give less chance of failure, but I rarely failed solos after getting used to it. The time doesn't change as the great guardians essence needed scales per player in game. 250 solo, 500 due, 750 trio, etc.
Fire/death/blood are the overpowered (red) cell altars. Death and blood are quest locked even in GotR, thus why I omitted using them here. They are VERY helpful, but not required. Green cells can get by fine for the buildable golems and the barrier.
Do you have all altars unlocked? Rc level? Essence pouches? Might be able to help with some more info. Luckily, this one I can help with in game. Feel free to add me and I can teach when I have some time.
Unfortunately this method just doesnt work if youve got the colossal pouch, you spend about 50% more time making essence/mining essence from the west side portal that even with good rng the abyssal creatures break the barrier/defeat the golems too quickly.
I maybe failed 1% of games soloing with the colossal pouch upgrade. If anything it makes it much easier with less pouches to be clicking. Check my past GotR livestreams for hours of successful runs. If you want some more help, hit me up on discord and we can figure it out.
@@nayronics hey thanks for the reply. Im Happy to be wrong here and get some guidance. I’ll check some of your past streams to see what’s going on and I’ll reach out with any further questions.
I've got a ton of solo runs saved on my stream vods if you want/need more examples. I've followed this for 350+ solos so far and rarely fail. Took me a few tries to get down initially, but like bosses, practice makes perfect. You've got this!
this is crazy not single other person breaking it down like you do!
I'm going to try this for sure!

Anyone curious, Varrock armor works on mining and gets shards faster, even the level 1 armor works.
Big tip. I always forget about the Varrock armour. Thanks for the add on!
So u dont need a hammer?😅 and u can make cells with no essense?
Hell imma try this rn, one thing is how i get my times with the colosal pouch?
Good luck on drops! Have fun!

Hmm....

It's a minor bonus if ya have it (not needing to mine a bit more during the match). I assumed people didn't since "agility bad" and all that.
i must be slow because i keep failing at this.

I have. Mobile is my main way to play as I can't sit still for too long.
