Pretty nice guide to help people totally new to Huey get into the fight! Always loved how direct you are about how things function in this series - only now learning about the shockwaves' blind spots in the corners today thanks to this video. Probs complicated for a video like this, but my clan's been using a 3X3 x-shaped tile pattern right in front of the big guy's head for the post-tail-health phase. Once the shockwave's top hits one of the head-side corners, you can run diagonally down the X pattern from the other corner and skip over the hit for a slightly riskier but way faster dodge.
Thanks for the 3x3 wave run. Had made the skipping much more consistent implementing the idea into my runs! Still get hit every now and again, but it's no longer a 50/50! Glad to show a safespot of sorts to at least help with the Combat Achievement if nothing else lol.
a dragon mace?! do you think im made of money? in all seriousness, great video. I like the addition of mid level bosses introducing mechanics to players to encourage the transition over to endgame content. Do you think you could make a video demonstrating a kill with a moon set or explaining more advanced mechanics like the wave skip?
Tried doing a follow up, bit didn't see a video worth 2 new bits of info (blood moon set shaves a couple min off the tail phase/cross the wave in a 3x3 X pattern in front of Huey, clicking as it passes the "bottom" square you'll run to) More than likely will end up in a stream to point people to later if they ask for video examples.
Great guide as always from this channel, however this is my first time seeing this bossfight (haven't been to Varlamore yet as I have locked myself at the soul altar until i get RC pet) and this looks sooooooo boring
Sadly, it kinda is. Even in better gear, it just boils down to this for 5-10 min in solo. Trio is faster, but basically the same plus prayer pillar charging. Scurrius is more engaging tbh.

I love the speed up sounds of mouseclicks lol
Honestly, same. Guess we have some unintended ASMR on the channel.

@nayronics i immediately went and joined some masses after watching the vid. Did a few kc's, definitely will be doing some more in the future.
@00FLevance Nice! Good luck on the pet if you try for it!
I have 250 hueycoatl kills but I’m still watching this because why not haha
I appreciate it! Thanks for the watch :)
is the pet 1/400 in solos?
overall the rates were higher upon release then jagex went and trashed the boss on its revamp/hotfix now its dead contnt
Yep! If you run on rate Lil Hubert is around a 60 hour grind. Gl!
God this looks so miserable as a boss
Not the worst, just a bit simple and long.
