Just so you know, there's a place in the brimhaven dungeon where irons and steel dragons are separated to TASK ONLY so the elite reward is still kinda useful, but sacrificing totems for noted steel bars, I'm sure i"m not the only one who has said this, but in case I am, now you know :)
@@michaelboyce8016 if 19m is half your bank, bcp is a bad investment. Fighter torso is a great free alternative and that 19m could go to other upgrades first

I know it was mentioned in the video, however what wasn't mentioned was that there's a room right at the back of the brimhaven dungeon where the different metal dragons are grouped in their own aggro zones. I'm unsure whether you have to be on a slayer task though.
3:35 Just commenting on the Brimhaven Steel dragons mixing with Irons, there's a spot just a bit further into the dungeon with 3-4 steels all by themselves next to the entrance of that area which is where I go for Konar slayer tasks (though now that I think of it, it may be a task-only area). Hope this helps!
Hey mrnosleep you can also from kourend castle run west to the skeletons and you end up at the hellhounds to brutal blue/red dragons no slayer helm needed
I think Jagex should add some kind of bar stacking method, for metal dragons, like a stack of 3 bars to save inventory room.. It would make killing metal dragons worth it.

Wish there was a slayer upgrade you could purchase that noted their steel bars (like the mithril dragon/bars upgrade) as a drop. Would make the task much more profitable, especially if you are killing the amount you did.

If steel bars are 382 gp each, then 382x5 per kill = 1910, x1000 is 1.91M, so that would've been a decent chunk of gp added on to that total at the end. Obviously it would've taken way too long to pick them all up, but it would've been worth mentioning at the end =P

killing them in brimhaven dungeon in slayer dungeon is really fast, banking via tia village tele scrolls and the back entrance requiring trading sticks. is really quick kills with a cannon, and really nice with cannon, get more steel bars than you use in c balls.

I've always just used enchanted bolts with a dragon crossbow on them. Never been wealthy enough for a ACB or a DHCB, well, until recently.

Or you go into the skeletons and mine the rock. Then run through the fire giants straight into them. It's the fastest and safest route

You can also try the defender + super antifire route for the accuracy on top of the strength bonus.

I believe there is a slayer only area for steel dragons at brimhaven..! Would be ideal if you have unlocked the diary :)
