it's definitely a coach problem but also the players are not there at all. They pushed an aggressive style that only wasted time because Uruguay answered with the same energy and pushed even harder, the passes were not there at all, there wasn't cohesion but also there weren't good single plays, there's no team lider. The US needs a few good players asap but tbh congrats for not losing 5-0 to uruguay, that's an achievement. the coach having a "U S SOCCER" shirt was a good metaphor, you won't get good at a game you refuse to call by the name the rest of the world does.

If Gregg would’ve left after 2022 I think we all will be ok with his tenure. But he stayed for too long and it’s time for change a new idea at least.

I can overlook the Uruguay game, but the Coach put the Team in the position of having to beat a solid team before the final rounds, meaning the players would have to put in so much energy before even the round of 16, it's stupid as a situation to find yourself in, on your home soil.
But, the game against Panama we were outclassed Coaching-wise.
The other Coach basically beat us even though we have better players than him, we're playing at home etc..
And who planned the venues for the USMNT?
Couldn't you do what Bruce Arena always talked about which is choose a city where the FANS will be a lot more friendly to us. We're playing in our county USSF !!!!
The coach played a big part of all the mistakes that were made, or he should have talked about them to the media, to put pressure on the USSF officials or the Players, ahead of the competition.
Very very stupid to appear in Copa America (which is an international tournament second only to the World Cup for us) so ill prepared. Suffice to say, why do the players keep telling the Media they like Gregg Berhalter? Do they not understand or hasn't the coach told them it's about the FANS and the country?
You Play for America i.e. the US FANS not for Gregg Berhalter.
    Wake the F-up
The World Cup is in 2026, here in America (Canada - USA = Mexico) you better be a lot sharper.
If you miss the mark on Copa America in America, you will miss it on the World Cup in America, that's how it appears right now. The coach can be blamed on Player unpreparedness and on the Results, but the USSF official should be blamed for the mistakes they were warned about by prior US Coaches such as Bruce Arena who warned the USSF about scheduling games in cities that wont fill the Stadiums with US FANS.
What's the point of hosting a tournament if you don't favor your FANS?
    How retarded is that..
Rest assured if Copa America is hosted in Mexico or Canada they will put their National Teams in Stadiums filled with their FANS.
    Cut the B.S. or resign.
The Players should be reminded by US Media that they don't play for the Coach or even the Federation, THEY PLAY FOR THE COUNTRY WHICH IS THE US FANS.
Stop saying stupid things like we like Gregg.
Well now that you lost and you look very very very bad, what has liking Gregg done for you?
This thing about being Stars is B.S. too
A Star is an athlete who brings the Gold Home.
This is the definition for US Olympians or Baseball or any US Sport
YOU ARE NOT A STAR until you WIN THE GOLD.
The USSF is very lousy it seems

Sure, it's easier and more suitable to fire a coach in sports, but if you think firing GB is going to turn this team around you're crazy. This team, these players, they don't have it. Period. You need a NEW roster, and while that's not possible, so is any chance of winning anything as USMNT. Just watch the Euros like the rest of us, y'all actually see elite talent and players on a pitch.

I don't know shit about soccer/football. However, what I see in the USMNT team are a bunch of great athletes, but not great soccer players for the exception of Pulisic is it? Meaning ball control and touch precision passing is not there. And because of that lack of skill, they play cautious and slow if you will, scared to lose the ball, because they don't have the confidence in their own ability to play fast or take "risk" like the Latin/S American Teams. We never make pushes, we're always on our heels. When we're a goal behind we play with this recklessness that to me honestly is more appealing. However, what do I know I'm just a face in the crowd.

The problem the US has is similar to England's: the football federations are more concerned with their bureaucratic control, will give you just enough to get excited about and celebrate with a mediocre or so-so manager who bends to their authority and is a yes-man, and will never get a world-class manager to get the best tactics from the players. Berhalter and Southgate are similar agents, and the FA and US Soccer loves them.

@the due in the 15:50th minute, don’t compare zidane to tim weah. Zidanes on a different level and has earned it all. If he wants to headbutt materazzi and throw the game, he can. it’s not over a lack of discipline. You see no frenchman or coach up in arms about it. Also, greg has everything to do with this early exit. So shut up.

Down 1-0 but good teams can still find a way to park the bus and at least get a point which probably could’ve made the difference in advancing tot he next round.
I feel the US just need better tactics through discipline and versatility. Regardless of talent you can compete and win in international football for my opinion.

    3) A major involvment of Major League Soccer.
The Major League Soccer is the first problem for USA soccer team, because the MLS is on own rail straight, like NBA or other american league.
The fact that MLS doesn t stop during Copa America is the dimonstration.
