The USMNT were defeated by Panama in their second match of the 2024 Copa America. We talked to USA fans and got their reactions before and after this first match in the Copa America Group stage for the USA Men's Soccer Team.

American fans give me this impression that they don't go to support their players who represent them as a nation. Instead, they go to a sports event like they're going to watch the celtics. It's crazy that even in their own country, they can't fill a stadium. The USMNT represents americans in the most important sport in the world in the oldest nation's tournament, they like to talk about how much their players suck, but they don't like to talk about how much they fail their team. Where's the passion boys? Let's go America, join the party already!
Because NFL is the monopoly of entertainment and it’s generations with this mindset like I watched a nfl match and is full of commercial breaks, product placement etc.
I'm a sports fan, around 40, I follow my local Miami teams,and the US in most international events, been a USMNT fan since the 90s, but I can't go their games if it's across the country or overly expensive. Hence, they get the fairweather fans. But at this point, id expect larger groups of traveling fans, like the American Outlaws or Sam's Army
At least they they have some fans. You act like it's their number 1 sport. Get your head out the sand. Give the ones that show up some credit.

As an USA/Argentine I'm amazed at some of the thoughts from the people interviewed 👏👏👏 it's the first time I hear coherent comments by Usmnt fans. I do agree with the one guy that said, no talking bad about current coach. After Cup America, change to an international coach. You guys should get an Argentine coach like Marcelo Gallardo or Diego Simeone. Or at least a coach from Premier League or La liga. World Cup is coming in 2 years, in US and honestly it would be nice to see for the first time a strong competitive USMNT. I don't understand why this hasn't happened yet, the US should be in the top 5 best teams from America. Actually this official is the exact same official over that game and was the reason that Mexico lost that game because of constant horrific calls he was making. Also the exact same official who resided over the last trainwreck of a game between the u.s and Mexico that got completely out of hand and then he just started handing out card too u.players like it was candy for no reason (including giving a pulisic a yellow for taking off his armband and handing it off when he was being subbed off which isn’t a cardable offense AT ALL and is by rule what you are supposed to do)

Bielsa is known for playing with the same squad week in and week out and making few subs. I’m not so sure we’re going to be seeing the Uruguayan Second team. Honestly if we did see some of them we’ll struggle
Like the other guy said, Bielsa don't make changes. Overall, professional teams don't make more than three changes in a game during a tournament. You make too many changes, it'll mess up the teams chemistry. With how good Uruguay are planning, they aren't going to make any changes unless they need to. I think you'll only see two changes. 1 in midfield and 1 forward. Defense will stay the same. That's one thing coaches never mess with.

A bad referee can still get decisions correct, not that hard to understand. The problem with this referee was inconsistency and losing control of the game very early on.

This loss is on Weah and GGG. Weah's Red was inexcusable, and GGG's tactics were awful. GGG's in game.management is awful. We should have still been able to AT LEAST draw this with a better coach with better tactics.
