European Football was named in 1865, it's Football played with the feet

The PL is way more competitive than the other big European leagues. Teams in the bottom 5 often beat the top teams. With Spain, Germany and Italy, you know the smaller teams will get beat every time by the big boys who only have a handful of really competitive games a season domestically.

Sorry if he mentions this in the video, I haven't watched all of it yet, but anyways: In England people started adding "er" to the end of words as a slang. Rugby became rugger, and in 1863, there was something called "Association football" and people took "assoc" and made it "soccer"

Ironically enough the term Soccer is an English invention deriving from the term "association football" to differentiate it from Rugby in the late 1880's. I mean after all no one seems to care that the Italians call it "calcio".

Tye original football us rugby football. All other games is a variation of rugby. British students called a variation or rugby football, association football or "assoccer". America to th AS off and kept "soccer". So you have rugby, and soccer. America created a different gamed based off of rugby football, much like soccer. We just called this last variation football to avoid confusion. Technically rugby, soccer and football are all football. Origination from "rugby football."
