What a fantastic place! This is the type of place that you don't want to leave! The manor house's interior: exquisitely beautiful and completely astonishing. The former Monastery buildings: serene and reflective. The gardens and grounds: inspirational and lovely. I really enjoyed our tour of these places. The entire place is so welcoming. I could spend hours there and in that fabulous motor museum. What an outstanding video with impeccable videography. It was worth the wait! Now, here's something for all of "us" Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fans...... The song: Oh you pretty Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang We love you. And, in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Chitty Chitty Bang Bang What we'll do. Near, far, in our motor car Oh what a happy time we'll spend. Bang Bang Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Our fine four fendered friend. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your informative and captivating video showcasing the beautiful sights and rich history of the Beaulieu estate. Your detailed narration and impressive footage provided me with a fascinating glimpse into the estate's many attractions, including the Beaulieu National Motor Museum, the Beaulieu Palace House, Gardens, and Beaulieu Abbey. I appreciate your efforts in sharing your knowledge and experience with your audience, and I look forward to exploring this wonderful estate in person someday. Once again, thank you for your outstanding work and for inspiring me to learn more about the fascinating world of vintage cars and historical landmarks. Best regards,
Wow, what an amazing place! I cant imagine a one day visit would do it justice. What a lot of beautiful buildings must have been destroyed when Henry Vlll got going. Thanks again for your time and effort showing us so many lovely places. Cheers Cheryl
I've discovered your channel about a month ago and I've been watching a lot of your videos. I absolutely love them. I've never been to England but it's on my short list of places to visit. You show me new places that I didn't know about and now I don't know where to start. I will have to make several trips to see everything!!!
Hello welcome to the channel so pleased you found us. Hope you manage to make a visit and enjoy some of the places we visit. We also go to other countries so might be some things for you there too.
What a fabulous place! We never did see it when we lived in the UK for a few years - it was on our list, but there is so very much to see and do in the UK that we only managed a day in the surrounding village and area. I'm sorry we didn't get to go, and grateful that you did, and shared it here with one and all. Thank you!
As you say so many places to go, it is hard to pick! We missed the village as we ran out of time and the weather was closing in. Hopefully go back sometime and see more of the national park and area.
Hello Si & Will ~ Absolutely beautiful and well preserved! The hidden staircase adds to the mystery of the Estate. Loved the Alice in Wonderland garden, what fun!😂 Thanks again for taking us along....Have a great day & all the best to you both! 🙋🏻♀️❤
It is a brilliant video and you know how much I was looking forward to it. As I said I remember going as a child and I was obsessed with cars from a very early age but I had no idea Chitty was there, and I can always remember the total shock as a I rounded a corner in the museum and there she was! As a child obsessed with cars and, like one of the child heroes of the film, also called Jeremy to see Chitty right in front of me was the best moment of my childhood! I have no recollection of the house itself though so really glad you’ve made this video and I’ve been able to see it from an adult’s perspective (albeit now disabled and housebound). Thank you!
I also remember going as a child and not seeing the house! I guess it was all about the cars back then. So please it was enjoyable and brought back some happy memories.
Thank you for bringing us along on your trip, and for putting together another enjoyable video with great commentary. Your videos allow those of us half a world away to visit and enjoy your beautiful part of the world.
I love this place! Definitely has that welcoming, homey feel to it. Makes me want to just come on in and stay awhile! And it's wonderful how the Family has paid respect to the Monks from long ago that lived there, making sure to incorporate aspects of the old Gate House into their designs for their home and keeping the Old Abbey in such beautiful repair still. That says a lot to me. Thank you for sharing!!
Although I have been away from the UK for many years, the nostalgic and elegant style cannot be replaced by any place, thank you for taking me back to the past! I am your loyal fan! LOVE FROM TAIWAN! 加油!😍😍
Great to hear you have happy memories from your time in the U.K. I also have great memories from a 2 week trip to Taiwan and hope to visit again some day 🇬🇧🇹🇼
The house looked Amazing / Beautiful. The whole area looks gorgeous. Fantastic footage as always 👍👍. And thanks for sharing all the footage of the Cars 👍👍. Thanks again 🙏🏼
I imagine the monorail almost disappears amidst the green of the trees once they have leafed out in spring. So many fascinating displays! One could spend a whole day easily. The very old grape vine sounds familiar to me; perhaps I've seen Monty Don talk about it on one of his gardening shows. I love the Alice in Wonderland topiaries! Another great tour! :)
So much to see in one place. Beaulieu Palace is beautiful, rich and elegant but also has a very homey feel. I just find it amazing to see all the family portraits and to know, over centuries, they all walked those same halls. How wonderful for the Montagu family to have their heritage preserved, but also to share it with the public. Many of us can’t travel and it’s a real privilege to live in a time where we have access to technology that can take us almost anywhere in the world. That’s why your videos are such a blessing! So thanks again Simon and Will! First day of spring tomorrow!! Yay!! 🐣🐥☔️🌷🌼🌞😎
Spring has sprung, and its dry in our little part of England for a change. It's been dreadful for over a month now. Hardly been able to get out and film anything meaningful. Luckily we have a back catalogue to cover us, and our trip to Norway starting this weekend. 😊
Absolutely delightful and very interesting video!!! I enjoyed this video very much. This house and gardens were obviously a very much loved family home. I particularly enjoyed car museum, but the staircase was a wonder to behold!!!
@MemorySeekers , I'm amazed that I did, since I am not particularly fond of cars. However I think the old-fashioned cars are much nicer in style and looks, than the modern-day cars.
Очень понравилась экскурсия! Удивила колокольня для вызова, слуг и выставка картин русских художников. Она постоянно действующая? Было очень приятно и полезно. Спасибо, что знакомите зрителей со старинной архитектурой. ❤ !
@@MemorySeekers I was going to mention that in my post. It’s impossible to see all the wonderful things in England. You are so lucky to live there. BUT, this attraction is one I absolutely must see!!!
I have been to beaulieu palace but did not get time to see motor museum so I can see it now on mobile i lots of beauiful buildings church abbey and a lovely river
What a shame you missed the car museum. Even if you are not that into cars its quite fascinating to visit. As you say you can now see it on your mobile. 😊
So much history in one place, it's like a time tunnel. Thank you for this amazing tour. It would have been difficult to work out what to leave out of the vlog. Totally awesome, thanks again. =-)

@@MemorySeekers .Yes exactly but that innocuous statement is not enough. Do you mean when Henry VIII murdered all the Catholics and replaced them with sycophants who stole all the Catholic’s property and formed a weird Sect called The Church Of England.
