I’ve heard this when I was younger and never knew who sang it. It sounds like a song that could’ve been in a movie back in the day. I like this dynamic of you both being introduced to one another music.

First time hearing this song and artist for me, incredible stuff! I'll definitely have to listen to more of their songs and music from that genre in general, it's so cool.
Had heard this song before and based off the Winwood songs I have heard, would've never guessed he was part of this group. Gotta try to listen to some more of this group. I can see a producer sampling it to make another great song. Love this jump into 70s music.

I must admit, I was disappointed that it wasn't anything within the rap genre, but I entirely and completely am digging the vibe today. Perfect moment for this type of music. This is hella good too. Thank you guys!

One the greatest bands of that era. Steve Winwood on vocals when he was what? 15? It’s crazy
Oh my bad. He was 18. I knew he’d started singing younger though.
The intro bass reminds me of Curtis Mayfield “Pusherman” which came out in 1972. I wouldn’t doubt I’m A Man was the inspiration.
