How to install ikea kitchen cabinets and countertop in your Van / Solo Female Vanbuild

In this video i am getting started on my kitchen.
I picked up cabinets for €50 from Marktplaats wich is similar to craigslist.
I adjusted them to size, painted the front and installed a countertop and sink.
I got my countertop Barkaboda and sink Fyndig from Ikea.

My name is Kim i live in the Netherlands and together with my three little dogs i am converting my Sprinter van into a campervan for us to travel europe in.

Easier way to figure sink. Tightly tape paper over top of sink. Use exactly knife to cut out the inside. Transfer onto countertop.

I have a quick question I’m looking to get a van and convert it too, do you have any recommendations for someone 6ft+ would your type of van be comfortable for someone that tall?
Hi!
My van isn't that wide. Even me being 1,67cm high sometimes have to go a bit diagonal to fit laying flat in this bed.
If you could make a slide out bed going over your benches you could fit in the length of the Van and that would be more comfortable.
If you make a long bed that doesn't move there isn't that much space left and i would choose a longer version.
I believe my Van is length 2 height 2.
My bed is 140cm wide, so taking 60 cm or more extra would take up a lot of space.

Hi Kim. What do you use as legs for your kitchen? The legs sold at Ikea doesn't seem sturdy enough for the van.
Hi! I used two wooden blocks stacked on top of each other screwed into the floor and than i screwed through the kabinets into those.
My thought was incase the Van would ever get into an accident and flip or tilt.(hopefully never ofcourse) they wouldn't move as easy than with just plastic legs standing on the floor.
Hi Kim, what kind of locking are you using for the drawers? To prevent them going in and out while driving, I mean.
Hi Arianne, for now i used magnets upto 6 kg. Because the drawers are facing back to front i don't have to worry about hard breaking for them to open, only when i am going up a hill.

Are you in the Netherlands? My kitchen is from Ikea and they also sell bedslats. Other then that i got my wood from de bouwhof in Zoetermeer
