I just did this recipe last night and I have to say that the honey is not a good idea simply because it leaves the skin very sticky, so I'll eliminate it next time. Wanted to share my results and thoughts.
Exactly what I was thinking.Honey is quite sticky and uncomfortable when left on the skin..
Won’t you attract bugs with it on your skin?
Get row honey not just any . Try to put just row honey on your skin , it’s not sticky . Row honey is so full of goodies for the skin ,cream needs honey
Was gone ask if i can make it without honey because am willing to use this in my 6 months old and i have no intention of him ingesting honey
I’d skip the honey, honey.
Love your recipe.I hope it works on dark skin as well.
I would use vegetable glycerin over honey way too sticky
Is it a good idea to replace Almond oil in place of coconut oil ? Another query, can I add aloevera to it too?
I heard of oats and coconut milk remedy.
Thanks will try it InshaAllah
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, did you try it? If you did how did it work?
you cant use essential oils for eczema
How come? I've been using oils for my skin long time ago and my derma told me oil contains allot of water and makes the skin dry haven't been using it since
Thank you so much 🙏
did it work for you?
Who is saying petroleum is bad for the skin? Every dermatologist on the planet endorses it so curious how you can say otherwise.
Marketing bruh. Plus, you can add oils to your balm and make some balm lotion or something 😅
@@MrEduardo20001 Marketing? When’s the last time you’ve seen a Vaseline commercial??
Not what I meant, I was talking about all the "herbal/natural" trend
How long does it take to froth?
How long does it last? no preservative for honey? does it feel sticky? Thank you :)
Honey never needs a preservative added because it doesn’t go bad. You don’t need to add preservative to this recipe because there is no water in it. However, I personally would add it just to be safe. Water from your environment can always get introduced and then that’s when bacteria and other germs come about.
Honey is a preservative itself.
I will make this but no honey and I will add Oatmeal
thanks
can i use lemongrass EO? How much should I put in?
If it is not in the recipe then we have not tried it.
Any one tried this receipt and work ?
Does this cream have a shelf life?
Honey never expires. Shea butter is shelf stable for 2 years. Unrefined coconut oil has an even longer shelf-life. Lavender and Tea Tree have a shelf-life of 3-4 years. So, look at the expiration date on your ingredients and you can figure it out. Enjoy the cream!
when making a cream do you need to store it in a glass container or can it be plastic container and can it be clear or needs to be amber?
Things will last longer in amber glass. We have not tried putting them in clear plastic containers.
Apart from tea tree. And lavendor oil what other oil can I use
Coconut oil or shea butter
Frankincense, Rose, Geranium Essential Oils
Any replacement of huney?
Lemon
Can this cream treat pimples and acne
I found oatmeal saved my skin when I was a teen. I'm talking over 35 years ago. We had a little soap shop in town, I think it was ahead of its time as I think it sold products that were more natural than chemical/ processed. I got the idea from a fictional book set in maybe the 1700's or so, a teen character used oats in a muslin wrap to wash her skin/ face which was described as beautiful. I bought a bar of oatmeal soap, that night in the shower I literally rubbed the scratchy soap all over my face. In the morning there was a remarkable clearing of my awful acne. I kept doing it night after night, and was clear in a week, if memory serves. I no longer do it, the soaps now are very chemically, plus being older and living better I thankfully have no need. You could still use oats in a soft cloth, they are anti inflammatory.
Any replacement for tea tree oil
Neem oil works great too and if you dont like the smell you can add a couple of drops of lavender oil. Hope this helps you
If it's not in the recipe then we have not tried it. But it sounds like Charlotte may have.
@@diyNaturalVideos I have tried it 🤗
Is it works for treating permanently or not?
It works. Diet helps too.
I feel like I can eat this..lol. Probably without the tea tree oil?
👍👍👍
