@@Katyeu dear on my laptop it's not showing the option of custom resolution there's only custom colour option Plzz help coz I bought a new device that features 1080p in the specs on the website but is giving me only 1366*768 in real
This method helped me. Thank you! If anyone had the problem, that they can not change the resolution, you have to remove GPU scaling on the same tab on the Radeon settings.
I have a Radeon PC attached to a Panasonic TV. I got it working by setting the resolution to 1768x992 and putting the HDMI slide to 5%. It was working fine, then the display just blew up and overscanned cutting off the sides and bottom. I spent hours trying to fix it finally setting the res to 1280x1024 to avoid overscanning. I use the computer mainly for streaming videos and now all my videos are stretched out. I don't know what happened. Maybe a Windows 10 update scrambled the registry? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Need help, im trying to turn of the display scaling on radeon software and the result is my monitor not suppoted that configuration and its turns out black screen with input not supported text. how do i revert the configuration?
thank you, my screen was off centered by barely a centimeter and even that was annoying. now this recent amd radeon update that moved me to pro has screwed up my full screen video. It inverts colors and makes it very unappealing, now to figure out how to fix that. man...
Yeah my issue is that I have a 55 inch 4k tv with 4k 144hz native resolution and a Taichi 7900xtx OC edition but my computer detects screen as 1080p (recommended) resolution AKA Native resolution for the screen.. which that is not True, its 3840 x 2160, ive tried removing drivers using DDU and reinstalled latest drivers and even older ones still same thing so I tried using CRU for custom resolutions and nope, Yes I can change the resolutions to 3840 x 2160 at 144hz but native resolution is still 1080p (recommended) So in reality its not using my displays actual resolutions (Aka Up-scaling) Any fix for that? I noticed you set your custom resolution but did not change it to native so its pointless.
Can this be applied to a custom refresh rate for each monitor? Because when i restart, both custom refresh rates or just one is applied to both monitor. When in reality, i want the specific one i created to stick to the monitor i created it for.
I cant see the EULA acceptance screen bottom because of 640x480 so I cant get past it to the get to the custom res screen. What key strikes do I have to do to accept?
First of all thanks for the effort but when I put in on CVT it doesn't work however when I put in on the mode one underneath it's working but it automatically changes to 1752 when I put it to 1750 any idea?
Either go in via Windows safe mode and change the setting back/reset settings or if your video card has a second output you could hook that up and reset that way, then plug your old monitor back in. If you have a second output, espcially if it is a different plug type, it will run if off default settings so you shouldn't get a blank screen. I had to just complete uninstall radeon control centre and download the whole 400MB again. 3 reboots later and I'm back in the game.
What I do if video and display option not shows in my amd application , I have Lenovo IdeaPad 330 15ikb (81DE0088IN) , did it because it have switchable graphics
So now i know whenever i make a custom resolution it won't change the resolution on the spot but custom resolution will be saved in the windows system settings if it's compatible. and if u create a resolution which is already in the system settings it asks for confirmation. If it's not compatible it pops up that " The custom resolution settings are not compatible with this display (this monitor). Reconfigure your settings and try again. " I was very confuse so i made this comment very long.

Akster27 i have found a way to get my native resolution on my gpu using custom resolution utility (cru) it helped me too, so it will definately help u! You have to download cru then extract to (whatever the name of the zip file is) so u know where to go to find the cru. Then after extracting, u will see three apps, ‘Cru.exe’, ‘reset-all.exe’, ‘restart.exe’,’restart64.exe’. If those apps are there, u are good to go and so open cru.exe. Then after that u can follow the tutorial from this link below 👇🏻 m.ruclips.net/video/X6cFVLAAAOw/видео.html By the way, this is the download link for cru👇🏻 www.monitortests.com/forum/thread-custom-resolution-utility-cru And also dont add resolutions or refresh rates that ur monitor doesnt support, i accidentally did that one time and needed another monitor to fix it which i luckily had, or ur monitor will say that it cannot support it. If that happens, there are other tutorials out there in youtube but if you have a second monitor , plug that in and go to settings (it might end up in ur first monitor so try to guess where it will be and keep pulling until u see it come up (also make sure that ur pointer goes in to ur first monitor and not hit the sides) then make the second monitor (the one u plugged it in to fix) the main monitor of ur system. Then open the folder which contains the cru app and other things. Then open reset.exe, then reset it. After reseting it should say to restart ur monitors. That doesnt mean u need to restart ur pc u just need to restart ur monitor. So if you have a 32-bit /x86 OS, use restart.exe. If u have a 64-bit/x64 OS, use restart64.exe. It might flicker for couple of times and might say no signal for about a min or less, but that is normal and u should see ur resolution go back to recommended resolution. By the way if u want to go back to ur actual native resolution then u have to go to advanced display settings and change the resolution from there. (Note that the reset.exe app doesnt delete all ur custom resolutions so please be careful and dont select the resolution that is too high for u.) Hope this helped you!
