Are thwre any issues with the stepoer motor feeding power back into the system when you turn by hand? It's essentially angenerator. This project is so cool!
I usually get stuff like this on AliExpress but in this case it was www.dold-mechatronik.de/Zahnriemen-geschlossen-HTD-3M-Breite-9mm-Laenge-174mm-58-Zaehne
Hello Maxim, I'm doing the same thing. I ordered your controller a few days ago, looks like I will receive it this coming week. Did you print the handwheel with pulley ONE part? If so, did you added support? Looks like the flange on the pulley overhangs and its the top / last to print.. would like to know before hand if possible... thanks in advance.

Awesome upgrade!!!! Thank you for sharing and to the person who designed it!!

Bravo Maxim. I really like how you do the videos. You have transformed a cheap lathe to a multi-thousand Euro cnc 🙂

Could you read out the encoder on cloosed loop steppern to gain the position? or maybe a extension board for measuring stuff

No issues that I noticed. Decent motor drivers should have protection against that built in.
Great job done! Can you tell me where you got the belt?

what length of stepper motor did you use?
А чем эта версия лучше предыдущей, которая без ремня?

Hi Guillermo, yes I printed as one part, without support. That flange is tiny and shouldn't cause issues. Cheers!
Great remix, did you test it with cutting mild steel?
Yes, works great 😃
Very Nice!
