      @magnipettersson4432 Месяц назад

      @@ivicaanic5213orcas are the very fastest species of dolphin and whale. They are also very diverse.
      Orcas range from lifestyles no different from dolphins where they hunt schools of fish and squid but orcas also have pods that hunt any other animal in the ocean with enough meat on it to be worth it.
      So dolphins are less adaptable and therefore have less neurons and arenr able to become "skilled" at anything an orca wouldnt be able tl be more skilled in and have more neurons assigned to.
      Orcas are literally super dolphins. They are dolphins ln steroids.
      If humans are dolphins then imagkne orcas as cannibalistic neanderthals much smarter stronger than us and also way faster than us.

    Orcas are also faster, dolphins has no chance

    • @ronnie926
      @ronnie926 2 года назад +3

      @MajorGalah I just googled it and some sites say the orca is faster and other that dolphins are faster. But the reports of dolphin being faster is probably due to an error:
      "There have been reports of dolphins travelling at much higher speeds, but these refer to dolphins being pushed along by the bow wave of a speeding boat. They were getting a free ride (their speed relative to the surrounding water was low). A recent study using based on the vertical speed during jumps showed maximum speeds for bottlenose dolphins of 8.2-11.2 m/s (16-22 knots, 29.5-40.3 km/hr) prior to a high jump. The maximum speed for wild bottlenose dolphins was 5.7 m/s (11 knots, 20.5 km/hr) and for common dolphins 6.7 m/s (13 knots, 24.1 km/hr)."
      "The orca, or killer whale, is the largest of all dolphin species and shares the distinction of fastest dolphin. He may dwarf the Dall's porpoise in size, but he keeps pace with his tiny counterpart, swimming at burst speeds of 34.5 miles per hour."
      "The fastest dolphin:
      Dall’s porpoises are very speedy swimmers; they can reach up to 35mph (56kph). When they swim at high speeds, they create unique fan-shaped splashes of water, called "rooster tails" and this is used to identify Dall’s porpoise at sea.
      Orcas are also extremely fast swimmers and probably the only dolphins to reach speeds similar to Dall’s porpoise."
      (Sorry I can't put the links, RUclips won't let me)

      @MajorGalah That source is the WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation) which is the is the leading global charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins.
      Also they didn't say that porpoises are dolphins, they just mentioned them together. For example in that same page it says: "There are currently 42 species of dolphins and seven species of porpoises", so they are clearly making a distinction between dolphins and porpoises.
      The 3 quotes that I shared are from 3 different pages, so if you don't trust that one source you still have the other 2 (and many others)

      Dolphins are slightly faster than Orcas they just dont have the endurance to keep up with fast speed for long periods of time like Orcas
