Hi Guys Welcome to my channel!! I am wife, mom and grandmother! Seems like as my kids are getting older life gets a little more hectic around here. From trying to keep to my daily schedule, planning the kids extracurricular activities, chores, errands...OH MY.. and having dinner ready on the table!
I am a stay at home mom/housewife who loves cooking, baking, planning videos, grocery shopping, meal planning and shopping..basically anything that will help my daily life a breeze! Although, my videos will not always be the same , it shows how my life can be crazy busy! From time to time I will throw in a fun vlog!
Also, as a stay at home mom I believe that no matter how busy life gets we should always makes time for the simple pleasures! :)

I made this weekend and it turned out awesome! I was trying to remember how my Mom made it but couldn't remember exactly. I followed your instructions and, although not my Mom's guisado, it came out pretty close. I used diced tomatoes and added diced green chile along with some fresh jalapenos instead. Also, my sister adds some chicken bouillon once the water starts boiling. Not sure if it makes a difference. Good none the less and my family loved it. Thanks for sharing! Provecho! : )

Thanks for the great idea!Didn't know what to do with my carne, and I wanted to change things up. This looks perfect for what I think my family will enjoy and I can add more veggies and spices to make it hot. Great recipe.
Great recipe...made it tonight and family loved. Added chopped green chilies and white hominy.
Tried it. It was awesome. The best part was that I had all the ingredients in my cabinet ( also from HEB) keep them coming. THX

I never knew what this was called! My grandma made this with cubed up pork steak or with the ground beef and peas. All yummy and brings back a lot of good memories!

Use garlic powder not garlic salt.
Looks good, I’m guessing you could use stew meat instead of ground???
Also the way you cook reminds me of how I make Texas Chili - just keep tasting and adding till it’s right! 👍

Where did you get your cedazo from?
I do the same but I add the tomato 🍅 sauce after frying the meat. I also can add real Roma tomatoes instead of can tomato sauce. I put in the blender first with real garlic and onion and the sauce comes out thick so no need for flour to thicken it. I use knorr chicken or beef bouillon flavor for taste. U can also try tacos dorados de picadillo which is yummy too when there is a few leftover picadillo. I get corn tortillas I fry it with oil and add picadillo and Monterey Jack cheese or cheddar and voila. Yummy 👍🏻
my aunts in mexico make it similar like you do. My mom worked 2 jobs a mother of 7, so she always managed to have a home cooked dinner for us, so i grew up using her short cuts! Thank you so much! 😊

You’re exactly what I’ve been looking for for comfort Mexican food recipes. My grandma can’t give me recipes bc she said it’s hard bc she doesn’t know measurements. She’s old style lol But she used to cook this for us all the time. It was my favorite. I always wish I had paid more attention to her in the kitchen. Ironic bc she always had me helping her in the kitchen 😭 gotta be up early tomorrow but ima get some more recipes for my list tomorrow!! Thank you for sharing ❤️
