Love the breakdown, everybody seems to be hating on the song, I listen to it like 8 to 10 times a day lol
Same, it grew on me so quick. So much more interesting than a lot of other stuff
To me, the interpretation of the music video is this:
A man is depressed in the world and body he lives in. So his soul travels around the earth and through history to find peace and joy. He realizes that the world is full of death and destruction and so meets the devil who then tells him he will take the man's soul to a eutopic paradise. The man agrees and lets the devil take him to this eutopic paradise in a different world. When the man arrives he realizes that this "perfect place" is actually an artificially created hell where no one else exists and everything is fake (because a perfect artificial eutopic world does not actually exists). And so the mans soul runs to the edge of this hell and jumps off into the space time continuum to then rejoin his body. The moral of the story is to be careful what you ask for because you just might get it. Be careful searching for paradise because what you think is paradise might actually be hell in the end.

That happened once they added brooks and made the stage, HTTK was extremely bland for A7X but the stage was an awesome bounce back and an extremely creative album
