Reminds me of Army flight school at Ft Rucker, AL. Flying "solo" at night in a Huey with my stick partner. It was foggy, and we were navigating via FM homing to landing sites that used bean bag lights in an inverted Y for touchdown area. Really insecure feeling. All of my "landings" were go-around that night.

This mission hits the sweet spot on variety, time, and style; ending sequence was perfect. I also like how you narrate what you're thinking and doing, which teaches us a lot. I don't have DCS, but I have fantasies of needing to take out MiGs in some dystopian future scenario. If it happens, I'll owe my glorious success to you, GS.
There is a piece of software that digital film effects companies have used to change old black and white film into colour. Surely they could do something like that for night vision goggles to make it seem more like daytime? As in real time whilst the pilot is using them.
night time mission are very challenging for pilots whether professionals or amateurs, and even when you have been use a simulator, i think the best aircraft for these type of missions is the F 15 strike eagle especially in strike missions!!

He said that it flys like or better than a Hornet.
U have to sit in the corresponding fc3 aircraft and then get into the mod. So for example for the su35 get into the su33 first and then get into the su35 and it will work. For the f22 get into the f15 first then slot over to the f22 and it will work.
@@GrowlingSidewinder I have FC3 but since the last update, none of my mods are working anymore. I’ve tried repairing DCS and reinstalling the mods, but it still didn’t work
@@mcdonnelldouglasf-4ephanto607 sure it does but only a small chance, the F-35 is stealthy, decently fast, and is overall a better plane, whereas the A-10 is slow and not stealthy at all, if the fight is BVR then the A-10 loses every round, but if it’s a dogfight, the A-10 stands a small chance.
the E variant is the export version M is the Russian modernized domestic variant, I'm not sure of the EXACT differences but I would imagine the M has a better radar, better electronic countermeasures that kind of thing.
