- In this episode of Combat Approved, the viewers will see the fastest and the most maneuverable fighter of the Russian Air Force - the SU-35. It has been adopted not so long ago, but it has already shown to the whole world how far has the Russian Air Force flown into the future.
You’ll learn which aerobatic stunts can this strike aircraft perform. But besides that, we’ll show a completely new stunt, which the Russian military pilots are just learning to perform since the appearance of the Su-35. This video should be updated, featuring the air battles won over Ukraine. One SU-35S gained 4 kills on a single mission. A MIG-29, a SU-25, and two MI-8. Also they have the R-37M missiles, broke the previous records of the longest range air kill, over 300km! Both the SU-35S, and the MIG-31BM
And we should also include all the kills Ukraine has, slowly increasing even before f-16s start their work.
Do you really think that flip, scatter spin move will fool any missile from the west? Smashed Russian jets keeps multiplying even before the dog fights.

@@dirkaminimo4836 sure, i would like to see a comparison. Not counting the 40+ kills of the "Ghost of Kiev" and other bs, but real numbers. If they managed to down some russian jets it was done by ground based air defences.
They have all, Patriot, IRIS-T, NASMAS, whatever. Can they stop the russian bombing campaign? No? Sometimes they shoot down a russian plane, their battery gets destroyed in return.
I would not have too high hopes of the F-16, either. See the same hype was going on for the Leopard-2 last year, the expectations were so high, yet it failed so bad
The F-16 will have to face S-400, and MIG-31, SU-35S, equipped with R-37M missiles. These have 400km range, the F-16 has 160 km with AIM-120C AMRAAM

I don't care if it's an American judge Chinese jet European jet any kids yet it looks good and goes good pretty and I can appreciate it I don't have to love that country! Lots of love to Russia from India. Russia's Sukhoi design bureau has offered the SU-35 for India's MMRCA Tender, I like SU-35 and it would be really awesome to see if the IAF chooses the SU-35 but the chances are quite low and as of now ,Dassault Rafale is considered as Front runner in this tender for a variety of reasons. Our IAF also already uses 270+ SU-30 MKIs in it's Inventory currently. In India we love Sukhoi planes a lot.

Russia produces the most aesthetically pleasing jets in the world. Just gorgeous. Even if they couldn’t take off (which they can, very quickly), they’re still worth every penny just to look at them!

I am a proud American. I have no shame in saying that the Su 27, 33, 35 are some of the most elegant planes to ever take to the skies. Quick, maneuverable, rugged, and built with simplicity of operation to allow the pilot to focus on the tasks at hand. We should have kept building and improving the F22 Raptors and imported Sukhoi instead of the F35 Moneypits.

@@rolliephantom5108 If the F35 had no radar reflectors installed, that is very very impressive. It seems that Sukhoi has decided to attack stealth technology with raw output power on the AESA. If it is capable of detecting normal planes at 220km+ it has to be generating a massive output signal because of the inverse square law. That would make it much more likely to pick up signature reduced aircraft at closer ranges. On the other hand, that signal intensity makes it light up like a christmas tree in a dark forest on a RWR.. two sides of the coin. Both problems can be worked around operationally. If I were a Su pilot, I imagine a technique of ping/disappear could be quite effective- especially with data link in a wide spread formation. It would be possible to leapfrog a shooter into EO range. The only way to counter would be to for OPFOR to use radar, negating stealth capability.

I found one other comment pointing this out. I always say don't underestimate your rival. The Russians are a smart bunch and best not find out how smart they can be. I think the F15 looks better....more streamline fuselage, not too much "up" & "down" outline as in the Su (which honestly makes it looks rather flimsy). Yes the F15 has just the right amount of elegant curves...:)

Also Russia is a large country and some of that weight will definitely be used for underwing external tanks which will lead to a decrease in the amount of ammunition :)

You can say what you want about Russian jets, but they sure look fabulous! They have a really beautiful design, the SU35 is one of the most beautiful aircraft out there. The super hornet F/A18E/F looks also very good, it's a hard choice which one looks better!

Full respect Anthony, those aircraft were really head of their time in the 80s f15/f16/18 varianets. And still great aircraft today and you'd know from that experience. but yeah you can really see what they mean about 4++ classification with the SU34/35s variants just in electronic countermeasures and capabilities. like controlling all missiles and targets from one commanders plane autonomously on the run with all the electronic target aquisitioning and scrambing just handled by computers on the fly.. pretty epic being able to shoot 8 targets at once.

The Su-35 is definitely the most capable Fighter in Russian Air Force and there is no doubt that it presents a serious threat to any 4th gen aircraft out there. But to say that it’s on the same level as today’s F-15E, F/A-18E/F, Typhoon or Rafale, much less ‘superior’ is defying reality.

it’s a shame that there are still people who thinks Russian fighters are just flying cereal boxes with forks for missiles. the Sukhoi-27 will forever be my favourite followed by the sexy Rafale. SU-57 nie je lietadlom 5.generácie, aj keď to rusi tvrdia a Mig-35 skončil fiaskom keď od jeho vývoja odstúpila aj India a kúpila namiesto neho americké F-16. Rusi tak neboli schopní predať ani jedno z týchto lietadiel. A SU-57 nelieta nad Ukrajinou preto, pretože ho sú schopné zostreliť aj 40 ročné Patrioty . A v prípade zostrelenia by Rusko mohlo zabudnúť na predaj čo aj len jedného SU-57

This Su-35 looks amazing.
blown away with the design, handling, range and speed of these aircraft. Always said the Russians had top notch men and women behind the ideas for the cutting edge performance blended into the airframes and engines and not until so long ago did they have all the high tech, like the west did to test the ideas before anything was even built.
I am American and French, I just came across this video. I must admit that Sukhoï has always produced superb machines, just like mig, in particular with its mig 29 and 31 which are iconic. It must be recognized that the su 35 and the Su 57 are exploits in terms of quality and price. Especially in view of your military budget which is $70 Billion while that of the USA is 700 billion. Frankly respect, too bad that your industries are also victims of Western sanctions, I admit that it bothers me a little because I have everything Even great sympathy for Russian engineering I did 4 years of studies up there to compensate for my work-study program at Safran 3 years earlier.And it's a country with a military know-how that it can no longer exploit because of the sanctions. Maybe one day we will see Russian, French and American planes flying Side by side. Anyway, that's all I want. I find it hard to understand people who criticize Russian Good luck to you, I hope one day to be able to see one of your aircraft fly again at the Paris Air Show. @@SogenOkami Well the translation probably was off. I've noticed a few translation errors in the subtitles as I can speak russian, but it's within the context and easily understandable anyway. To an average person turbojet and turbofan makes absolutely 0 difference it just translates to "hella fast" that's all you really need to know tbh.
