Yes, Mickey Thomas is killing this. Honestly, why is he not lauded as one of the greats? And this guitar solo is next level. What an outstanding performance by this band. Playing it live and being better then the recorded version is an actual thing that only exception bands can do.

I've seen a few performances of this song, live, from the 70's to the 2000's and every time Mickey Thomas is solid and consistent in every performance. His voice doesn't seem to age. A lot of today's singers need to take notes on how he does it. That's how you sing live.

What a voice. I grew up on this song but, astoundingly, this is the first time I've seen him live. I thought, maybe, how good he was in the studio recording was a fluke and he couldn't possibly be that good live; was I wrong! Chills went through me. I wasn't prepared for just how good he was, he was even better live. His stage presence amped it up exponentially. Again, I say, what a voice!
