In 1973 a bunch of headed to Naniamo to catch his concert, the plane was late so and show cancelled, ticket returns. Headed to a Cabaret on Front Street, not long after Elvin & the group gave us the best show. Memories just retired back & now seeing my 1st boyfriends from 72, he found me on FB. ❤

While visiting friends in California, I saw Elvin at the Longbranch in Berkley, CA on July 3, 1971. Next night, went the last night of the week long celebration of the closing of the Filmore West, July 4,1971. By 1976, I had "been thru about a million girls". I saw Elvin Bishop in 2005 at the Santa Cruz County fairgrounds in Watsonville California. The old boy was still cranking out the tunes but Mickey was long gone.

I saw Elvin Bishop in 2005 at the Santa Cruz County fairgrounds in Watsonville California. The old boy was still cranking out the tunes but Mickey was long gone.
After first hearing this song in 1976, not long after moving to Germany, I always thought Elvin Bishop sang it.
Here it is, March 11, 2023 and I not only find out Micky Thomas sang it, but that he is the singer for Jefferson Airplane/Starship n Starship...I mean like what the freak? 🤯
I never knew until just right now when I read in the description that Mickey Thomas sings this song 😱😱😱😱 Got to see him and Starship back when their song We Built This City was released . He has such an awesome voice .......
