Enjoyed the video, One gear head to another . That is some rig/truck. I put an 24,000 btu a/c system in my 1985 M923A1 in 2016, I used a remote condenser, Works fine. Later from Texas.
The Seabees have these trucks too,all being green, they are not camo or desert tan like in the USMC.May be one of these days I'll try to purchase a Navy MK31 so I can haul around a low boy just like they actually do for bull dozers and front end loaders.I never noticed that they did not have A/C until after 2006,all I have paid attention to is the six vents on the dash board next to the trailer brake.
Is there anyway you could tell me which two pins on the engine ECM the wires go to in your video? We are in the process of doing an installation and the instructions have gone missing.
Do you live in california or is that where you got it from? I asked the DMV about registering one of these in cali and they said it has to have a 2010 or newer engine swapped in it to pass emissions

Nice explanation. Where do you typically find these kits? Surplus? Or Oshkosh?
reynard101 I scored my kit on eBay, I’m sure Oshkosh would want a golden penny
Which compressor do they run with this setup?
Yea the standard mk23 don’t have the ac unit…just blows air and hot air
Did you have any problems with GP driving it off the lot and driving it home?
How about since you didn’t have registration and stuff yet?
I did not have any problems, and I had insurance on it
What was your initial cost to get it to your door step? How much would you est you have in to the project now?
