My favorite line in this entire video “okay, I just beat the catfish over the head with a rock”
Ancient method. Cut notch into 2 sticks. Tie line to tree limb,about half way down the line attach stick w/notch to line. Put the other stick in the ground deep. Throw baited hook out. Pull the line/limb down. Connect the 2 sticks notches together. Idea is fish pulls the 2 notches apart springs the trap whipping the limb up setting the hook. If u set it up right it's automatic by itself.

Hey brother, I lived in El Paso Tx for a few years and went to a couple of rattle snake rodeos where I ate my first snake. They skimmed them an cut them in 3 hot 4" lengths. Not much meat but if needed you can survive on them .

You should try Googling night fishing for bass. All my best bass were caught on calm nights with a surface popper. You just need to strike slower after dark to give them more time to inhale the lure. I've fished until after midnight at times.
Really big bass leave their structure after dark and patrol the shore real close. Good luck and thanks for the video. 👍

In Finland we do a lot of fish gigging from boats with big tridents. Very effective fishing exciting toom
You should try to make it up to Maine to get some good fishing up this way I know a spot where there's a 5 lb Bass I've been catching the same one four or five years now and I know it's stretch it's in between two lakes where you can catch really big largemouth bass salmon and Pike. There is lake trout there and we have a bunch of brookies and rainbow trout too
