After a few smaller Island Survival Challenges earlier this year, i finally found the perfect Island for a 7-day island survival Challenge. Plenty of trees for building an awesome survival bushcraft camp and a beautiful lake full of fish. My goal is to catch and cook something different every day and Build an awesome bushcraft camp to have my adventure at.

I wish my son had someone to teach him all this stuff. I'm disabled and with my health conditions, I can't hunt or fish anymore because it's not safe. It makes me sad because He's never been fishing. If you're able to do it, take advantage of every second that you can and share this stuff with your kids. ❤❤
I feel this, my Dad loves camping and fishing but has never been able to take me due to his health complications, luckily my Grandad who happens to be my Dads best friend moved up recently and has allowed me to experience these things.
The silver lining is that your son can absolutely still learn all this stuff and more, from many people. With RUclips and Google, there's really no excuse not to learn and know what you want anymore. Just have to be passionate about what you want to learn..I know it's not the same as a personal, intimate one on one with someone, but I am in the bush day and night to live and survive... And I love it. This video is luxury compared to my life, but it's enough for most. In fact seven days is impossible for most haha
I feel for you. I couldn't imagine not being able live in the forest and explore and fish or physically teach my son those things.

Hey Zach (and the crew), long time subscriber here. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy the channel. I also wanted to pass on a tip.... when using your knife to chop on the cutting board use the back side of the blade when scraping food items off the board to reduce dulling of the blade. Hope it helps!

Thank you fowler and team I love the movie. But to be honest I'm still waiting to see if your gonna pick a winner for the wilson treasure chest give away. I still check periodically. Maybe I just missed it but I don't think so. I know I was the first person. To put the proper times in. Episode 3 of the original series gave everyone trouble but I got it, treasure chest on top of cooler when your doing the journal entry. I'm a channel member and will continue to be no matter what your amazing. Keep up the great work. Can't wait for the tote float revival. Hope to see Chris again soon as well. Idk that kind of didn't seem right to me.. plus in the Bible the flesh of clean animals has to be taken swiftly by slitting the main artery with a single motion.. you can't saw it or hack it or do anything that will cause it to feel pain.. you cant break the neck.. nor can you eat animals that have died of natural causes..

Hey Zach, I just wanted to say thank you for being who your are in Christ Jesus and being honest even in your weakness and failure you have had sometimes in life and things you have went though in your life. I started watching your channel when I was a backslidden state and I as well have 2 little girls and went though alot of hard times kinda like you did. I about 3 years ago after starting to watch you I got back into church and gave my life back to Jesus I am very thankful for all you do keep at it brother.
