I bought a 75" frame about a month ago also at Best B. Very good for a bright room. Love the way it looks on the wall without a standard wall mount. I don't think art looks particularly realistic but still looks better than a black box on your wall. The auto turn on motion sensor feature works pretty well. The media box gets pretty warm in a cabinet so I added a fan exhaust. Love that the remote is RF instead of IR. I did add the conduit behind the wall to put the one direct cable through. A bit of a hassle but not a big deal. Also I strongly suggest a sound bar as the sound from the tv is a bit "thin".

How’d you add a fan exhaust?
@@hopegodswill5606 I added it to the cabinet that holds the equipment. My cable box is in the same cabinet so between the two it can get "warm" but never "hot".

Thanks for the review! Was waiting for someone talking about the "TV aspect" of the frame 2022. My conclusion I made here is: It's a beautiful work of art and hood enough for a movie here and there and to watch sports. We can play FIFA on there and maybe some faster games too. It's no going to replace my LG OLED, but ist for my Man_Cave. And this balances my need for a stylish room and my love for great specs.

The matte screen coating also makes it great for an office presentation display.. for meeting rooms, etc..

Brightness setting for art mode is in the actual art. Press a button while art is on. Its on there with mat settings, etc.

Nice review. I'm interested in getting a 2022 The Frame for the bedroom TV but I'm wondering how the black levels compare to the previous years model with this new matt screen (much like monitors with more matt finishes, as they often don't appear to have as good black levels). Does it effect the persevered black levels or contrast ratio at all? Anti-reflection isn't much of a concern for me in a bedroom setup as it will be a low light setting.
I've got a 65" 2021 model as my main living room TV and have been very happy with its performance (with some calibration) for the price. It does the job. Its mounting system, aesthetics on the wall and ease of installation for its look (thanks to the One Connect box) was also a huge selling point for my particular situation (long narrow terrace, and the TV is mounted down the end of a long wall the length of the house, so the TV can be seen from the side from the front door). Just not sure if the black levels will be as good as the 2021 model with this new matt screen treatment, so any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you elaborate on the Sony oled handling reflections better than the frame? I was considering the 2022 frame (85”) strictly on the anti-reflective benefits. I bought and returned the QN90a because of the terrible rainbow screen effects from the viewing angle layer. I’m surprised more people aren’t bothered by that, it awful. Any good recommendations for a bright room with windows in 83-85inch? C1? Thanks. Love the awesome videos.

Question please about the A90J. Why do you sometimes get a thicker black bar on the left or on the right when watching a movie ou any other content. I stream from my Apple TV and it regularly happens. I just need to tap the home button of the A90J remote back to the TV “home” and go back to my Apple TV content and boum I have my thin bars on the lift and side of the TV. I can see it when you are showing the white screen for your DSE check. Anyone else noticed this on the A90J?
The difference in brightness and HDR is like night and day, a90 j is on a class of it's own...
Ive had my 83" A90J for about a month now. Its incredible. I have a PS5 & use a 2.1 HDMI for it and its the clearest picture ive ever seen

Need advice. I want the 55” version of the 2022 model. I want to run the one connect wire through the wall but Samsung says the optional wire that is rated for in wall installation is not available and has no ETA.
I will have a very short run of the wire in the wall (less than 6 inches).

Just wanna ask, did you have issue with the motion detection sensor of The frame LS03B?, which mine is not working at all. from the beginning, the motion detection sensor not working, it can't turn tv automatically on to art mode. With TV turned off, I tried to walk by around 5 cm to 50 cm in front of the TV, it didn't turn on. I also waved my hand really close to the sensor position around 30 seconds, the TV still won't turn on to art mode.
I read the manual, and suggest to turn the motion detection sensitivity setting to High, Timer off, Night mode on Energy saving and Screen saver off. And still the motion detection read nothing and won't turn the tv on to art mode. But the lighting sensor works pretty well.
I also asked Samsung CS in my country, they said this feature not available on the frame TV 2022.
Please share your experience or do you have solution for my problem?
Ps : Samsung already replaced me with the new unit yesterday. And the motion detection sensor won't work too.

Just buy it online at Costco. They will delivery it and install for a low cost. Comes with an awesome bundle and art subscription and insurance. My house is new construction with pre hidden wire set up ready so easy peasy! Art TV needs to be hung on wall otherwise as a TV there are many choices from Sony with OLED resolution.

One quick question, I know you used Apple TV in the past. How does art mode work if you have an Apple TV as the source driver? Is it wonky or when you turn off the tv does art mode work? Thanks you two are the best!
I have a 2019 Frame and ATV as the primary source. Additionally I have the tv hooked up in Homekit. And it works as expected. When I “turn off” the tv art mode comes up.
I have the frame 2021, I use the apple tv 4k and works fine. No issues at all with art mode

Hmm, well I just want to say I am excited, for today we bought a 75 inch x95k, which I will hope I can like for a year or two, or at least until Sony can develop a master drive, with local dimming, and vrr working together, which may not be possible, but I am hoping that Sony can create a tv, with maybe 2 different backlight drives, one for gaming, and one for movies. But I will be waiting and seeing, to buy a big 85 inch led tv, or bigger. For I have a large wall, to place the tv, which I don’t know how big the tv can get, but I think the bracket can hold up to an 90 inch display at the present time, but I will be waiting and seeing what happens. I am expecting it to be delivered on May 28th, or Memorial Day weekend, which I will be excited to see. Now I could not see a demo of the x95k, but I am excited after watching reviews posted on RUclips.

I have a Samsung Q9FN model 2019 and I didn't notice the dirty screen effect till after the warranty expired I paid almost $3000 for this TV and I can't believe it has this issue especially since it's a flagship model I have one other Samsung flagship and it does not have dirty screen effect I guess I won the panel lottery on that one. The best way to deal with dirty screen effect is to look directly at the center of the TV when viewing content and you really don't see it

Can I ask a question? I just got my yesterday. My motion detection does not work when in art mode. When the tv goes black and I walk into the room it stays off. I've adjusted the setting to low motion (I'm guessing high sensitivity) but nothing. I called Samsung and they stated basically they believe I need TV's software is version 1204 but it should be on 1205. But the TV is saying 1204 is the latest version. Would you know anything about that? Or do you have any idea what may be going on. I have a Samsung technician coming out next week.
Mine does that as well. If you google many are complaining. Hopefully they fix this with a software upgrade in the future

How does this compare to the 2021 or 2020 Samsung frame? It seems like the matte finish on the 2022 gives the black colors a hazy look to it.

The 2020 version of this tv still has the best picture quality as it has the highest contrast ratio of over 8000 while the 2022 version has a contrast ratio of around 6000 and the 2021 version is just around 5000. The 2020 version also has a semi glossy panel which will make the blacks look even better. Rtings just posted a review.
