very helpful sir thank you for this.hope you post more videos using this! The video is really helpful. Do you have any setting recommendations for FOV and stabilization when shooting running videos on a selfie stick?
just shoot in 60fps and lowest noise reduction in image adjustment settings if you want rocksteady and rocksteady+ to look nice and smooth 👌🏼
absolutely awe-inspiring!🎉🎉
If you have any questions about OA4 leave them in the comments here, if I get enough I will make a dedicated vid answering them.
Or drop me a message on X! 💂
May I know what is the sharpness level for default settings?
deffo not buying that camera footage looks like 20 years old .i will wait for osmo 7 when they finally use a 1 inch sencer.
the footage looks absolutely stunning for the price and size
nice.. this is good stuff. you should make outdoor with same frame rates settings too. great review 👍
this video is a testament to your incredible talent and artistic vision!!!!!!!!!
lol
What's up with this weird voice echo / massage music?
just trying to make you gay
Boss can you please ensure me if you don record jus keep on your camera it body will hitting issue??
I buy osmo action 4 when i dont record it automatically make hit.
When i start record it heat more and more.
It is normal??
I don’t have overheating issues with it
Hi. I just tested your settings but one thing is wrong in your video. Gyro data is not working in standard dewarp FOV. You can get stabilisation with gyro just in ''wide'' FOV. I may be wrong and maybe is another software to work with the standard dewarp fov, but I tried with Gyroflow and it doesn't work. Fortunately, I just remembered during my test about the pop-up screen on dji action regarding gyro data in Wide Fov and that worked for me. I kept all your settings apart of the standard FOV and it worked. I will still need to colour grade and see the results. Anyway, Thank you so much for your useful video.
I just bought mine and should get it today my first time owning one going to use it next week vacation Spain France and Italy blogs😀
Exciting!!!
I just set ISO to 100/200 for motion blur for my vlogs
You've already gained another subscriber, thanks to your willingness to help with my questions. Sorry for the English, I'm using the translator.
Do you have a recommendation for diving settings?
I would use the same settings! 😉
Thank you for these awesome settings. I just bought the Dji Osmo Action 4 couple days ago. It's good that I find your channel. You have the best setting for Osmo Action 4. Can you do the setting for low light video for Osmo Action 4?
Thank you advance for reply...
Thank you. The best auto low light settings are the ones I showed in the video. Switching to manual ISO and exposure can fine-tune results but may be a tad time-consuming (changing the settings every time). This is suitable for planned b-roll shots, not for quick, spontaneous filming where time is critical.
Well done 👍👍 one request you making how to edit video for osmo action 4 footage...
Can I ask want sd card do you need for the 4k120fps? will a V30 Sandisk extreme pro do?
For 4K recording at 120 fps, you want at least a V30/U3 card, but for the best results, especially if you're recording in high bitrates or using formats like RAW, you may want to consider V60 or V90 cards.
Hello , Thanks for the awesome video and presentation, What do you recommend for the best settings for Street Vlogging whether it’s a sunny day or cloudy ?
pretty much the same settings, but go completely manual if you can babysit each shot-that’s when you get the best shots
What a beauty..... this is called real information. Thank you bro
impressive bro! Greetings from the philippines
Love from india pls can you tell me i can shoot only in normal colour can i use same setting i dont have machine to colour grade
YES! -2 noise reduction and -1 sharpness is what i have in image adjustment when shooting in normal colour mode. I actually filmed in colour mode all day today with those aforementioned values, keep the shutter like i say in the video and when it comes to iso i would put it on 100-1600, that actually doesn’t seem to bring much more noise than to the 100-800 but i need more tests to make sure
Excellent thank you
Is the action 4 waterproof?
Yes if the battery and usb-c compartments are properly closed!
thanks for the videos on this camer. Do you ever use 10-bit in normal color? If so, do you also change the sharpness and noise reduction in normal color?
I shoot in 10-bit colour all the time these days to edit faster, -2, -2 on sharpness and noise red
There was a firmware update that added 10-bit colour to the normal color profile. It wasn’t available at the time of filming this video
Thank you for the video. Do you mind uploading the raw samples on a google drive or something to judge the quality better?
I don't have any cloud storage left lmao
beyond breathtaking!😍😍😍
Could you help me, please. I use the Osmo Action 4 at 1080 at 24 Fps. When I turn the camera, when I go to edit or look at it later on the computer, the frame rate keeps cutting, like it keeps skipping in small frames, the image doesn't look smooth, as they say, it doesn't stay smooth. Do you know if I need to adjust something, thanks in advance.
When it comes to 24fps footage, some people find it looks choppy while others prefer its cinematic feel. If you want to stick with 24fps I'd recommend trying these settings:
1. Lower the ISO to 100-400.
2. Set the shutter speed to 1/24~1/8000.
3. Use an EV of -0.7.
If this doesn't feel right, you can also try these:
1. ISO 100-800.
2. Shutter speed at 1/100~1/8000.
3. EV -0.7.
For best outcomes I would go completely manual on the shutter speed to find what makes motion blur look the least choppy/off. Again, 24fps is pretty choppy by the nature of it being 24 frames per second. At the end of the day it's a matter of personal preference.
Also, I would almost NEVER use rocksteady or rocksteady+ on frame rates below 60fps.
@@artoshiverse Thank you very much. You helped me a lot..
@@artoshiverse I'm using Rocksteady, I'll adjust that now. I make videos style vlogs, do you recommend using 1080 at 60 Fps? The other settings, I will adjust the ones you gave me in the other comment.
Yes, 60fps is great because you can drop it on a 30fps timeline and it will translate beautifully + you can slow it down and have high quality slow mo. Try 30 & 60fps modes - they will give you much "smoother" footage.
Strange we can't change shutterspeed with shooting slow motion. Good info here mate.
you can if you switch the exposure to manual; but I wish they let you change shutter range when the exposure is on auto in 4K120 just like they do in 4K30 and 4K60
hope this clarifies things further :-)
@@artoshiverse Ah thanks, yeah true
VERY HELPFULL
Yo - I recently bought this camera, whenever I want to play videos I recorded on my computer it will lag doesn’t matter what size 4k or 1080. Any solution tnx
sounds like a computer or media player issue, or a bad cable
@@artoshiverse I insert my SD card to my computer even when I copy them still lagging
It could be ur computer cant handle the codec.
@@louislimenyu it's absolutely 100% not that at all
@@louislimenyu true that was my computer. Just bought a mac mini 16gb of ram and see no problem playing 4k 120fps
Nice reverb over your voice :D
