Never mind the fact that thunderbolt 1/2 are not compatible with 3/4 and that you’ll have to get an adapter…
Remove the battery and use a power bank. I bicycle for hours at a time in the sun. Power bank is separate from the camera and the camera doesn't overheat

What about powering via USB with a dual USB adapter?

Newsflash: I have an old Master 3s that can't be updated. Bought a new Master 3s that IS updated. Guess what - the new firmware causes lag that is impossible to deal with. The old one lags from time to time but its bearable. (I bought the new one because I dropped the old one and now a switch is wonky)

@@artoshiverse I have to add that I don't have that confirmed, but for periods of time the mouse works fine and then starts lagging, so I doubt it's a HW problem. The only apparent difference is the firmware version - On 22.0.3 it works mostly fine, on 22.1.6 it often lags horribly. That's all on macos. On Windows both seem to be fine. I had a chat with support and they opened a ticket, but like many others I doubt anything will be resolved with this and I'm looking for a replacement mouse already.

its too late, but there was 3 years worth of complaints about the as7 iii being a great camera, but not getting the love or the upgrades as the FX3. Nobody - unless you want a "hybrid" camera that only has 12 megapixel resolution, should be buying the as7 iii. i guess if you want to save a little money or you do not know the history of neglect sony has given the a7s iii you are going to get a pass, but the lack of updates and complaints about the disparity in treatment is now legendary. two of my friends now have the FX3 because i warned them not to be me with the as7 iii. zero issues with the camera. 100% dissatisfied with Sony's sales tactics. but enjoy it, its a great workhorse.

I can understand your frustration. My question is this: hadn’t you seen these complaints from A7SIII owners over the past two years before purchasing yours? The people who bought A7SIII’s is 2020 and 2021 had an excuse because the updates to the FX-3 hadn’t come out yet.
Totally should have gone deeper into researching the current state of things before getting it-it didn't even cross my mind because of how dumb this is But hey, I love this thing, I love the viewfinder which is basically a lil built in TV, and I hope that one day Sony will grace us with a long awaited update
@@artoshiverse You could get a really good amount back for it on a trade in. Adorama in NYC is one of the best at paying top dollar for used equipment. You should check them out if you’re thinking about getting the FX-3.

I'd say 6k from here on out. Sony is really outdated, yes it has some good features but no BRAW for A7s3 and FX3 or proper anamorphic modes along with open gate.
Why is built in shutter angle a big deal? I don’t understand, it’s real easy to keep track of it manually. Great video btw🫡
simply put: the fewer adjustments you have to make before taking your shot, the better :-)
if you shoot in event shutter angel will come in handy as some light will flicker in certain frequency and simply reducing the shutter speed won't solve the problem in most cases. If you want to shoot slow mo, you will see some heavy flickering as you increase the shutter speed

But you never explained how is your A7Siii crippled with software? It sounds more like you think it's crippled by a lack of software.
The abysmal software updates are literally bricking users' cameras and Sony has the audacity to charge 700 USD to have it be sent back in for repair after their update breaks your camera. FUCK Sony. NEVER AGAIN

The A7SIII is the ignored child that has credibility and street smarts but is ignored none the less. It’s like working for a company but the culture doesn’t see you empowered and it feels aggravating. But maybe parents recognize a special child and need to build a new golden child in the family to stagger away the atrocious evil eye and so the FX3 was born as a detractor from the Cinderella SIII. We just haven’t come to realize how beautiful and glorious of a camera 🎥 it is. It’s not looking for attention like the FX3. It’s slowly gracing the saddle with a quiet confidence. I dig the A7SIII. It’s my kind of thing and it’s lit 🔥 😂

I've been waiting for someone to help me make my desition and now I think I am 90% convinced
If you go into Bluetooth on your Mac and have it search then turn on the keyboard it will connect then ask you to type in a sequence of numbers to encrypt the touch ID. You shouldn't have to actually plug it in to connect it. Great video, I just wish they made the small with black keys. I normally use a 65 or 75% board on my PC and the full size is just too big, not enough space for my mouse.

Update: when you come back to your mac after it enters sleep mode you do need to PRESS the touch id button instead of just RESTING your finger on it, although it should just work either way, APPLE
