I think they missed the scrap value of the truss material. The water proofing does not have any scrap value. So if you add the scrap value with the cost difference which the Architect is talking about, truss work is more beneficial. Additionally, the KSEB bill amount will also be reduced. Also AC will be more efficient than before. I have done truss work for both of my houses.
One more point to add, വീടിനു ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള മരത്തിന്റെ കമ്പുകൾ എല്ലാം വെട്ടണം. ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ട്രസ്സ് ഇട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അണ്ണൻ, കിളി, എലി പോലെ ഉള്ള ജന്തുക്കൾ വന്നു കൂടു കെട്ടും.
