They have one - Q for Quilting; S for Stitchillo which has a lot of various forms of stitching, V for Vintage Life which includes old fabrics, antiques, & vintage sewing notions. Just to name a few. I have all of them to date. They are a wonderful read. Great stories, and supporting a micro women owned business. ❤️❤️❤️

Even though I think I have my list of things to stitch on my days off....I watch you guys and everything goes out the window .....so many lovely things to stitch!! Brenda, I did that big BBD piece with all the sewed together segments as a stitch along with my BBF years ago....it’s such a fun stitch! I did it on one piece ....I can’t be bothered with that cut and sew stuff!!..I’m off to track down those chessie and me designs🤣...thanks for sharing ladies!

I love your visits! I call them visits because I enjoy the conversation and sharing with us our common love of stitching! I know what you mean Laura about the Indy 500...I live in Indianapolis and this month has been so weird without the festivities moving up to the big day! My family traditionally celebrate race day with a cook-out, pool party and listening to the race on the radio. (my days of the big crowds are over) But the important thing is we are all well and I have stitching and weeding to keep me busy!! Thank you for another wonderful video!
Hopefully they can have the race in August! Yes, Indianapolis must have been so quiet this month....I often dream of spending the month of May in Indianapolis some year so I can go to all the time trials, parade, etc. Sounds like your family has some great traditions Jackie!!!

Laura, my mom and I went to Spirit of Crossstitch festivals in Iowa in the 1990s as well!! I was living in Papillion NE ( a suburb of Omaha) while hubby was stationed at Offutt. I think we went 3-4 years of the five years we lived there. We would drive over to Des Moinesvand stay in hotels near the convention center. We LOVED that!! We went to one in PA which turned out to be their last one. My mom went with others to sites in CA also. I loved seeing all of the patriotic pieces! I made a lot of needlerolls too, Brenda! I love those Chessie and Me smalls. I don’t recall seeing them until recently though. So easy to overlook things when you are in a crossstitch store- the good old days of browsing and shopping! 😥❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
We only went to one festival...should have gone to more. It really was fun. Now we need to go to Needlework Galleria!!!! Glad you had those great times with your Mom!!! Hugs!
All your works look great! Brenda, I have done three of the strawberries and finished them with ribbons on top that match the colors in the design. Loving them. I actually have made four as I did one twice but changed the colors. They are so fun to do.

Oh a video of you baking the linen would be awesome! That’s the part that scares me the most but I saw Kitten Stitcher has the antique spray so may try that. I was trying to find something patriotic and just got Souvenirs if the Heart by With Thy Needle and Thread. Trying to find the All American Finn whale but seems he is on everyone’s list. I got the Dutch Beauty too, a girl can always dream, someday perhaps. I am doing 40 count as well and with good lighting I have no problem. Laughter is the best medicine and the Attic provides many laughs. You Both do that too, looking forward to more patriotic charts.

I enjoyed seeing a portion of your patriotic patterns and finishes; such fun. I recently purchased two samplers and wondered if either of you have stitched these. They are Reflets de Soie, Jardins Italiens and the other is by Kathy Barrick, Ann Smith, A Quaker Reproduction Sampler. Just wanted to get your input if either of you have stitched these. Another fun video. I look so forward to sitting down on Sunday with you. You two are responsible for me getting two long running projects finished as I binged watched FlossTube. I unfortunately found another UFO in a drawer and realized I didn’t like that I followed the directions and used 2 strands of DMC on 35 ct linen. It’s bulky and ugly. I think I will have to unpick the whole thing and start over. It’s about a quarter done. Right now I am trying to channel you two - “What would Brenda and Laura do?”

Brenda and the Serial Starter I decided to unpick. I didn’t have another piece of linen so i just unpicked. Although i could in theory take it off my UFO list as as it would move i to a start pile again. Right? So woohoo! Another one off the list. Now down to 8 to finish. 🙂

I got that book, too Brenda! I actually bought for my mom because she had some feed bag dresses and my grandma made quilts with them. I've decided I need to enjoy it first though...LOL. I thought some of those photos would make cute thread keeps. I may pull out my grandma's quilts and re-visit them. xx

Oh a video of you baking the linen would be awesome! That’s the part that scares me the most but I saw Kitten Stitcher has the antique spray so may try that. I was trying to find something patriotic and just got Souvenirs if the Heart by With Thy Needle and Thread. Trying to find the All American Finn whale but seems he is on everyone’s list. I got the Dutch Beauty too, a girl can always dream, someday perhaps. I am doing 40 count as well and with good lighting I have no problem. Laughter is the best medicine and the Attic provides many laughs. You Both do that too, looking forward to more patriotic charts.

I am glad to hear that your state is opening up some. It will be good when the two of you can film together; that has to be more fun for the two of you. I enjoyed seeing a portion of your patriotic patterns and finishes; such fun. I recently purchased two samplers and wondered if either of you have stitched these. They are Reflets de Soie, Jardins Italiens and the other is by Kathy Barrick, Ann Smith, A Quaker Reproduction Sampler. Just wanted to get your input if either of you have stitched these. Another fun video. I look so forward to sitting down on Sunday with you. You two are responsible for me getting two long running projects finished as I binged watched FlossTube. I unfortunately found another UFO in a drawer and realized I didn’t like that I followed the directions and used 2 strands of DMC on 35 ct linen. It’s bulky and ugly. I think I will have to unpick the whole thing and start over. It’s about a quarter done. Right now I am trying to channel you two - “What would Brenda and Laura do?”
Thanks so much Anne!!! I would start over on another piece of linen and not pick all that out. Brenda would cut up that piece and throw it away. So whatever you decide, will be fine! Glad you had enough floss tube to watch to keep you entertained!
