Brenda thank you, thank you. I picked up a WIP from last summer and made substantial progress. I knew I had purchased ribbons and pins for finishing the WIP, but it was not in the project bag with it. When you showed the Mama Joan bag with the mason jar fabric, I shouted with delight. I remembered that where the ribbons and pins were placed. Remember, always show your project bags, you will be helping a stitch friend.
That is so wonderful!!!!!!!! Glad that our purchases can help each other out!!! Thanks Kathy!
Hello ladies.....Brenda, I just wanted to thank you for recommending Brenda Keyes patterns. I am a wool applique designer and was curious when you said she had amazingly packaged patterns so I chose one that I liked and ordered it (I ordered "Sweet Humility")....and you were absolutely right! Her patterns are so beautiful; not just the design itself but the entire marketing package! I love it! Can't wait to stitch it and it has given me some ideas of how I can "spruce" up my patterns! Thanks again!
I am so thankful for both of you and the time you take to share with us!!! I think that cow on Mary 395 is going to win me over as well Laura. Brenda, you got some beautiful Sampler Company charts. You ladies say Carol and Nicole are hard on your pocketbook but we, John Q, say that Carol, Nicole, Brenda and Laura are hard on our pocketbook! Thanks as always for the inspiration. Happy stitching.
Thank you Wanda!!!!! Did you cave in for the cow yet???? And regarding hard on the pocketbook, then when you add Reecie into the mix....all of us are doomed!!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Yes I did!!! Oh my goodness, how did I forget Reecie!!! It is the best kind of doomed ever!!!!
Finally got around to catching up with y'all today, I was in bed all weekend with a fever, ended up in the hospital with a kidney infection. Not great, but with the fever, of course, I was tested for corona virus. Thankfully negative. So, I get the pleasure of catching up belatedly. Laura, My poor, feverish mind has been boggled with the number of starts you have had in the past week or so. You are definitely living up to your name! Brenda, I was shaking my head agreeing with you on 3 points today, we are simpatico! 1- the Crescent Colours thing blew right by me, I still think that way. Probably half of my CC collection says Crescent. 2- been there with dumping the DMC's, and now having an unorganized mess. Even though my bobbinated threads on ratty cardboard bobbins were organized. Now, I am like you, I live literally across the road from Joann's, it takes me 2 minutes to get there. That's a whole lot more efficient than pawing through wads of thread for hours. 3- x-stitch app. Have it, love it. But, have not fully utilized it. I have inventoried threads fairly well, still lots to do. I was with my local stitching friends one day, and my friend whips out her phone to show me something, and she is scrolling, and scrolling through all of these projects. I asked what she was looking at, it was so fabulous. She said x-stitch app. I was blown away, it was a beautiful thing to behold. She had the new version, where you can add pictures. Hope you've had a great week, see you Sunday!
I hope you are feeling better now Cindy!!!!!!! Take good care of yourself!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 thanks so much! Yes, doing so much better
Hey sweet girls. Good to see all is well and you’re still building up stash. Brenda I make those mini clipboards for the girl’s teachers ever year! You know I love to collage. They are sweet and personalized. Enjoyed the talk and always feel so inspired after you ladies share, Cutting linen is touchy and If at home I always pull a strand. It assures a straight line. Ali and I watched a you tube on how linen is made and she commented no wonder it’s expensive!!!! From the mouth of babes!!!!! Thanks again for all your sharings💕
Thanks Angel!!!!!! Your collage work is fabulous and I bet those teachers love those clipboards!! I want to see that linen video! Will look for it. Hugs!
My week is started off right now that I have watched your new video two times in a row!! LOL (I may watch it again before next Sunday!!) Loved all the eye candy. Thanks for sharing, and happy stitching...............
Thank you Pam!!!! Watching it more than once! You are a dedicated stitcher...but I understand I love to hear people talk about stitching! Hugs!
Brenda- loved the clipboard idea! I can't wait to see your finished box. Laura- love ALL the projects you have. Watching you both has definitely been helping me with "stash" enhancements. As always, I love your channel, my personal favorite! I can truly tell how much you both love to stitch. Have a wonderful week with lots of stitching!
Thanks so much Diana!!!! Glad we can assist with the enhancements! Thank you for your kind words.
I really look forward to your video each week. Thank you for taking the time to make them.
Thank you so much for watching them Lynn!!!!
LOL just as Brenda said that she has DMC etc (of course I am still reeling in shock that she is doing something in all DMC), a big crack of Thunder went off here - that beats the cuckoo clock for that one! LOL Laura you have such an amazing memory when it comes to who is stitching what! oh I have a tattoo on my ankle and hell yeah it hurt there!
Loved ALL the goodies this week. Keep it up! Love you guys!
Another great video. I love watching you girls. Thanks for taking the time to make them for all of us.
Thank you for watching and leaving such a nice comment Maria!!
Afternoon ladies,, It was lovely visiting with you today... Beautiful samplers and those linens too love the dark colour... I would paint in black then get some gold gilding wax to blend over the black... I am sure it will look brill whatever you do...
It is cold and wet in this part o Scotland will be stitching tonight oan Linen and Threads 2020 Mystery Sampler oan the last part o June... Happy stitching...
Scotland!!! Oh how I wish we were there with you stitching!!!!! Thank you Louisa!!!
I have over 100 cross-stitch flosstubes I watch! You two are in my top 10! I Have watch within a day of your posting! Loving the samplers and the enabling is really fun haha thanks for keeping me crazy for cross stitch! 🤪
That is an extremely high compliment Lynda!!!! Thank you so much!!! There are so many great videos out there .... we could all give up watching TV and just watch stitching videos!!!!
Brenda and the Serial Starter yep that’s been me for months! I actually avoid the tv unless it’s RUclips on it haha
My daughter made my WEEK! She came over Wednesday with a big smile on her face and said, "Mom have I ever got something for YOU!" After a half-a heartbeat of panic, I looked up and there she stood with a plastic bin in her hand. On the side it said "Cross Stitch patterns....25 cents each or all 40 for $3". Ladies, lemme tell ya.... there were about 25 left in the bin and I went through each one. Almost all of these patterns (and there's even an OLD magazine in there) are from 1970's to 1980's. I am just freaking out!!! There's not a lot of Sampler's but there are just pattern booklets of some ADORABLE cross stitch pieces and I just don't even know where to get started, lol. I told my daughter this was Mother's Day, my birthday and Christmas all in one. I don't know why, but I thought of you two... especially Brenda... when I saw all these. There's one from like 1972, and I have to wonder if some of these are even available anymore.
How wonderful was that??????????? Your daughter is a peach and she sure made your day! So excited for you!!!
I enjoy watching your videos ladies...have a great stitchy week!
Thank you very much Crystal!!!!!
Another great video and wonderful diversion from the daily news! Brenda as an accountant you have had to consider Excel for organizing your patterns, etc! :O) I also only IOS devices so I use Notes to track tons of things - change on one device and they all update - woot! woot! If you want to manipulate the info, copy and paste from Notes into Excel, then set up some pivot tables. I will freely admit I am an Excel nerd and love organizing things which seems to go hand in hand with the accounting profession. Laura, I laughed at your dumpster fire comment - we have all been there with our cross stitch projects!
Oh an Excel nerd!!! Now we know who to address our questions to! Thank you for watching and commenting!
And the STASH goes on and on...love seeing your projects and stashes! You both keep me motivated and enthusiastic about our favorite hobby! Hugs to you both!
Thanks Marcia!!!! Isn't it fun how we encourage each other!!! We are all so lucky!
You girls are so wonderful. Your stitching, your attitude and your friendship inspire me every Sunday.
Thank you so much for your very kind words Laura!!! Hugs!
Thanks for another fun video and some time out. I was just looking at that Brenda Keyes pattern with all the houses yesterday. Stopped video and had a little window shopping at sub Rosa. Gorgeous patterns. I love all the little details in the Mission Impossible movies
Thanks Lynette!!! We watched the 4th movie last night. I could barely stitch while it was on so that was a problem. Glad you checked out Sub Rosa!!!
Brenda and the Serial Starter yes I think 4 is my favourite climbing up the building. I love Benjy. We have watched them many times so I can stitch!!!
Looking good ladies. Thanks for sharing ❤️
You both made a great start to my week. Thanks for the fun and stitching.
Thanks for watching Sara!!!! Have a happy stitching week!
Be Kind....perfect 😍. Thanks Ladies
Thank you for posting a video! You two never fail to cheer me up and make me want to stitch faster so I can do some of the same things you are stitching on. Between Nicole, Carol and both of you I am in the poor house purchasing supplies...but having so much pleasure anticipating stitching them. Have a wonderful week, see you next Sunday..I hope. Hugs!
Thank you Darlene!!!!! I wish I could stitch faster too!!! I keep picking huge projects to start and just want to stitch everything. Yes, Nicole and Carol are great enablers too!!!!!!! Let's all pick the same poor house to hang out in!
I love the stitching you all did this week! I love love the coo coo clock. It makes me laugh every time it goes off! TY both!
Thank you Paulette!!!!
Love seeing both of you and your inspiring projects! Sable = stash above and beyond life expectancy (how true!)
Thank you Linda!!
Always a fun video!!! What great stash -starts and laughter. I feel like I've stitched my fingers to the bones and I just do smalls - don't know about stitching my guts out!! Have a Happy Stitching Week Ladies .
Thanks Linda!! If you have already stitched your fingers to the bone that you don't have to stitch your guts out...we don't want to put too big a burden on you!!! You have done your duty!
Thank you ladies for another enjoyable hour-ish. Have a wonderful week!!
Thank you so much for watching!
I love you two! Great video. Thanks for adding the links in the description box. I will check them out. Have a good week. Take care.
Thanks Kristin!!!!!!!
I'm new to cross stitch so if I buy a chart I have to buy the fabric. Let's just say every payday is an adventure. Why my first counted cross stitch is a HAED......ok so I figured if I can do a HAED then I can succeed in anything else I try! I bought four and I've kitted up two. I aspire to have a stash like you two someday!
You are very brave and amazing to start with a HAED! Hope you are having fun with it!!! Maybe you can get something a little easier to do for a break every now and then??? Either way.....happy stitching dear!
🤗 Always enjoy the visit, thank you ladies! Take care.
Thanks Carlene!!!!! Happy Stitching this week!
I so enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time to post them.
Thank you for watching Edna!!!
Enjoyed the video. You both have awesome charts to do.
Thanks again for talking time to create a video this week. I really enjoy our visits. Have a super week!
Thank you for such kind words!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed your WIP'S and haul! Thanks for making us another Sunday funday video! Have a great week ladies!
Thank you for watching Kristi!!!
I love visiting with you two on Sunday! I investigated the X-stitch app after you all mentioned it. It should work great for both of you because it now has added support for users with MORE than 10,000 charts to inventory!😵😂
I shook my head in agreement with you Brenda when you said you can’t be bothered looking for the DMC...just buy more❤️
Fresh DMC for everyone!!!!! Thanks Sharon!
I pull a thread out and cut on it. Otherwise id have a mess. Thanks tor visiting and sharing.
You are a true professional Patti!!!! We need a lesson some day!
I love the Saltbox Quilt Sampler and have all the threads, just trying to decide on linen. Pulled out some Vintage Country Mocha and Faun so will see what looks best. Brenda, I so agree with you about the DMC plus when I get it there is usually a zip bag which keeps it so neat. I really need to organize my threads one day. The Heritage Sampler linen was a beauty. Thanks for a lovely video and going to get some ducks!
Thank you Renee!!!!!!!! and Thank you for getting some ducks!!! You have two great linen choices for Saltbox!!!!
Have a great week Ladies ❗️Take care, stay safe, and Happy Stitching. Xoxo. Miriam
Thanks Miriam!!! You too!
Sorry. I had to finish watching Kitten Stitcher before tuning into your video! You guys continue to make my Sundays enjoyable. I have been to Welcome Stitchery once on a trip.
Thanks so much!!! I would watch Kitten Stitcher before anyone else too!!!! Love her!
I Love the Real Housewives of Cross Stitch as well. Also, thank you two for being upbeat and keeping out the world problems and political views. I watch floss tube to escape what is going on in the world. Floss Tube has been a place of comfort for me. Just want to tell you I love you both and thank you for great videos. BTW, I use the XStitch Plus app and love it.
I wholeheartedly agree with you...I feel flosstube is an escape from the world issues so I want to watch flosstubers who talk about crossstitching not world views...
Thanks Shelia!!!! I feel it is important to pay attention to what is going on in the world and make a stand for what is right, but I also just want to stitch.....we all just have to remember to do both right? love, laura
@@crystalstitching2 Thanks Crystal! I also support floss tubers who want to talk about world issues along with stitching....now is the time to stand up and be counted. However, our channel is a place for stitching talk and an escape for a bit. But we all have to do what is right. Hugs!!!!!!
Oh we all need to be aware of what’s going on I. The world. Believe me I do. It’s just I need a place to go for some peaceful time and I am so happy some Flosstubers do that for me. God bless all of us.
@@sheliaburton541 Agreed! Hugs!
Love seeing you ladies! Ducks have been adopted! Laura - you should get a duck tattoo if Emily hits 7000! LOL
Thanks Jodi!!! and if Emily hits 7000 I think she should get 2 ducks....I am not getting a tattoo no matter what. Although there are some cute stitching tatoos. Maybe a temporary one?
You guys light up my Sundays!
Thank you for your kind words!
I so enjoy watching you ladies. Thank you. 😊
Thank you so much Stef!!!!
Thank God you two filmed today!! I was going through floss tube withdrawal last night because none of my favs were on!!! Thank you for giving Fred and I a video to watch!! Love all the pretties you showed- and that one with the willow tree is aammaazzing! I’ll have to get that! Got my first 40 ct shipping- I’m so excited. Can’t wait till next week! Lol happy stitching! Love Jen and Fred.
Thanks Jen and Fred!!!!!! Please let us know how it goes with the 40 count!!! I agree that willow tree on that Brenda Keyes sampler is amazing!!!!!!
You guys are the best! I adopted ducks after watching Emily’s video a few days ago but I never got an email receipt so trying to figure that out. I totally want to make sure Emily gets to 5k so Michelle has to get a tattoo, but then I am mean like that!! I love Brenda Keyes’ designs and had Sampler Houses on my list to start for Maynia but didn’t quite get there. It’s going to get started soon, though.
Thanks Barbara!!! Hope you got that receipt thing figured out......So far Michelle is safe. We shall see what happens. You need to start Sampler House!!!
Thanks again Ladies - you're the best!
Thank you for watching!!!!
I so look forward to seeing you every week! It’s like I’ve known you forever! It’s been a good weekend for stitching as Cristobal blows through! See you next week!
Thank you Judy!!! Hope you did not have any weather problems......
Stash Accumulation Beyond Life Expectancy! 🤣
I can’t wait to get my box for Saltbox Quilt Sampler.... Toying with the idea of what color to paint it too... so, I’ll let you know. My next stitch SHOULD be to finish Our Saviours Praise, but I’m going down the BBD Sewing Club book rabbit hole! I’m feeling like doing a few of the “smalls” in that book~ Great video ladies! Thanks for the mention and you guys gave a great week! 🧵
I think it is a requirement that we all go down the BBD Sewing Club book rabbit hole!!! That is one amazing book!! Whatever you do, have fun with your stitching this week!!!! Thanks Faye!
I am going to kitten stitcher to look at Brenda Keyes samplers. You guys got some beautiful patterns in this week. I did get my linen for Berry Bowls but missing a few threads. Enjoyed your show as always. I look forward to Sunday
Thanks so much Ida!!!!!! How was the Brenda Keyes shopping?? Did you get anything!??
X-stitch app. Consider doing this for your inventory and journal. I started entering my patterns. When I had them entered, I put a posted note on the cover. That way I didn’t need to be in a rush to enter everything. Then as I listed them and they were kitted up, I moved it to the journal where I noted the fabric used and there is room to enter thread changes. I have not entered my threads. They are easy to.find as I needed. I started using the shopping list so when shopping I know what I need. I also note on the item what project I need the item for. Happy stitching!😀
You have a brilliant system going Becky!!!!!! We will try to get to that level......but we shall see!
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!
Great video and haul!!!! I’m stitching my guts out and going for a small finish!! Have a super fantastic Sunday!
Did you finish it yet???? Oh right...you did. Jingle all the way right? It was beautiful. What is next? You can tell me via text. Love you!
Great Flosstube, thank you for sharing everything. “stitch your guts out, people!” 😹
Thanks Lisa!!!!! Hope you are adhering to the stitch your guts out exhortation!!!
I enjoy watching you two ladies so much.
Thank you very much Sandra!!!!
Laura, when you called Brenda “you little genius!” I could have sworn you were going to say “you little Minx!”” Haha
That phrase is reserved for when she buys something without telling me and I need it to!!!
Thank you both for doing these videos. You never fail to brighten my day!
That is so sweet of you to say Shelly!!! Thank you!
I absolutely love watching the two of you! You make me laugh which is something we all need right now! Thank you for sharing your stitching!
Thank you for your kind words Fay!!!
My hubby and I got tattoos on our 50th birthday. I got a wee bumblebee on my ankle and he got Felix the Cat on each arm. For me it was 15 minutes of sheer torture...but I love the little guy.
That is cool Melissa!!!! But I am still too scared!
Enjoyed everything you guys showed today! Have a great week !
Thanks Terri!!!!!! Hope you have a great week of making more beautiful things like you do!
Brenda I pull a thread so have that groove too. Also for years have brought by the metre my linen. Sometimes l’ve paid it off by lay-by. Happy stitching ladies.
Thanks Clare!!! You are a brave thread pulling woman!!!
Thank you both for making another my Sunday enjoyable 😊
Thank you for letting us know that Shirley!!! Hugs!
I love x stitch app! I only use the inventory of charts and the journal of starts and finishes! I hope you have a great week of stitching!
Thanks Vicki!!! I really need to check that app out!
I have missed watching you both but I’m catching up. You just make me small.
Brenda your purchases are over the 🌙 moon. I need to go shopping
Shop shop shop shop!!!!!! Go for it Jacqueline!!!
I had my eyelids tattooed about 15 years ago...it has been great. I'm not one for tattoos and I didnt tell the hubs for many years...hahaha...i had to hide from him for awhile while it all healed...he just shook his head... 😁 loved all your eye candy this morning...and giggled at the mistake found! You two have a GREAT week!!
Thanks Cathy! Does that mean you had a tattoo that was like an eyeliner applied? and that it will last forever? That sounds painful, but also like a good idea. I would need to have five Valium to get me through it though! Happy Stitching this week!
Yes, eyeliner...never was good with the pencils!
@@cathylloyd9225 I can never put eyeliner on right!!! So I just gave up. Even gave up mascara lately. I need both of them though......oh well.
Apart from the haul & the tattoo revelations, i think my favourite part was Brenda turning round to argue with the cuckoo clock 🤣🤣🤣
That was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!! I loved that part too!!!!! Thanks Sian!
Great video, thank you for keeping it stitchy!🤗
Thank you Lynn!!!
You two just make my day. Love everything you do and show😍
Thank you for your very kind words!!!!!!
We ❤️❤️❤️ you both!
We love you both too!!!!!! We hope our paths cross again for a stitching session when life returns to normal! Until then, thank goodness for technology that brings us together through IG and You Tube. You two make Saturdays a wonderful day of the week!!
Have a great week ladies 🌻
You too Cindy!!! Hugs!
Oh man I love you two. And thanks for all the awesome stuff to look at! And the tattoo does it hurt... well Laura I am with you that’s all I need to hear. My son has 4 and my daughter has 2 or 3 and she’s a huge chicken.lol
Thanks Cindy!!! I guess that if you really want something you overcome the pain......but I would be too chicken!
Brenda and the Serial Starter me too!
I watched Michelle’s video yesterday and I, too, am “afeared” for her! :) I adopted a few ducks and got a nice note from Emily. Brenda, I can’t believe you have a tattoo! I’ve never gotten one but my oldest grandchild has many. Looking forward to the day the two of you can record side by side again. Have a great week and stay safe!
Thanks Kay!!!!!! So far it seems Michelle is safe......but you just never know!!! Thanks for adopting ducks!!!
Brenda I just finished the little saltbox sampler & enjoyed it so much fun!
I bet it is beautiful Barbara!!!
Brenda, will you talk a bit about how you go about sending a piece to total framing. For example, the best way to contact them, how you prepare your piece, how you mail it, etc. Loved seeing y'all again this week. Hoping you can get back together soon and that Tab becomes available!
April, are you following Total Framing on Facebook or Instagram? That would be a great first step. Brenda sends her pieces to them via FedEx so that they are tracked every step of the way. You can contact Total Framing directly via telephone and they will guide you through. It is really easy. Just tell 'em we sent you!
I love X Stitch app!! Worth it totally!!! And so is watching you ladies!!! 💗💗
Thank you very much Michele!!!!!!
Great video!! Thank you for the tip on buying a duck!! Oregon has a very successful fundraiser with ducks too!! We love The Ducks! Oh my all your stash enhancement is breathtaking, just a little temptation here! I went to Portland yesterday and got an appointment for an hour at Acorns and Threads Yippee! Oh such fun and I got some lovely linen and my first Portland cuts !! Jeannine and I had a fun time, she a doll and so helpful! Good thing I’m 3 hours away, just saying!! Have a great week and sprinkle goodness whenever you get the chance!,
I am so glad you got to go to Acorns and Threads!!!! I want to go there someday!
Love Sunday visits with Laura and Brenda❣️. I think I better invest in the X app. My COVID stash is getting out of control? I watch you ladies and question, do I own that? Lol
Thanks Becky!!!! Yes, all of us are out of control with stashing during this pandemic. We will have enough to last decades!!!!!
Love all the haul! Brenda Keyes is one of my favorites...just started The Contented Mind Sampler during Maynia 💕. Got my 6 quack pack yesterday to support and also in hopes of a Michelle tattoo 😂
Thanks for adopting some ducks!!!!!! Your Brenda Keyes project sounds fabulous!!!
Ladies, I love your channel. I finally bit the bullet. I purchased 40 count linen. Y'all, I can't see those holes. My eyes are only 50 years old. What trick do you have for stitching on such a high count? I think I'll be using mine as a giveaway on my FT channel.
OhMyAida Get a magnifier with a light.
@@gtogirl1970 I have one. I can see the holes, but they are so close together, I'm sure there will be a struggle. Although, I have heard once you get the first couple of stitches in, it's easy to see if your count is off. I'll try it before I give it away.
Great party of my Sunday afternoon! Go visit Miss Dotties on ETSY for rings to hold your floss for your projects! I even have some with my name on them--Desiree! I don't normally do samplers but ABSOLUTELY HAD to preorder Teresa Krogut 's Land that I Love! Can't wait. Have a good week.
Great video, too much temptation!
Thank you Louise!!! We can't help it!
Thank you for the video! So fun watching you two. Love your haul! I had to add a few more things to my list 😃. I just finished the America stitch by Little House Needleworks...I see it framed on Brenda’s wall every time I watch. Love it! Brenda has a tattoo? 🤭Wonders never cease 😅 Happy stitching.
Love your videos. And thanks for speaking loud or whatever you do so I can hear what you’re saying. Some people probably have great content but can’t be heard. Like Schoolhouse stitcher. She speaks so softly I couldn’t hear her
Thanks Phyllis! I think I caught myself shouting at a certain point...so maybe too loud sometimes!
Uh Oh....my wedding gown if 52 years is linen!!
I bet it is gorgeous Mary!!!!!
Who else raised their hand on New starts? ... I still call them crescent colors, lol. Awwww 🦆very nice. No tattoos on me.
Raise that new start hand high in the air Dee!!!!! Crescent colors forever!!!
Great video once again very fun
Thanks so much Donna!!!
“Stitch your guts out people!”😂😂😂
Ready, set, STITCH!!!!!!!
I have the xstitch app and have all of my charts entered...they don’t go in a bin or bag until entered...new rule! I also enter whether it’s a KIT or WIP. I’ll tell you how many I have if you tell me how many you have 😜. My daughter has a lot of tattoos and an outline of the US runs along her rib cage...her brother who got one on the fatty part of his upper arm has a whole new respect for his sister...crybaby! Have a great week you two! ❤️
Thanks Vickie!!!! Sounds like you have a great system and two very cool kids!!
Hi ladies! I pull out a thread, and then cut along that line. Otherwise I get pretty wild with scissors! lol xx Michele
You are so damn cool at all times!!!!
You ladies....💟
I know....we are nuts!!!! You are right there with us though - right Barbara???
Brenda and the Serial Starter um, completely! Side by side! 💟
I just love your flosstubes. Who do you have finish your drums?. I think I saw on a flosstube there is a spray called instant Antique. I believe it was on hatch work quilts.
Thanks Brenda! Brenda has her drums finished by Joy of Finely Finished on Facebook. Not sure if she is taking new customers though. You can try Belinda at Blue Ribbon Designs. Just google that. She is a wonderful finisher too. You can find that spray on Kitten Stitcher.
On most Sundays I stop watching whatever as soon as your video drops. Only two or three fellow You Tubers would come before cause you two are so awesome...but today was an exception...Kitten Stitcher had my full attention. I love the Brenda Gervais chart and plan to start that next. You two are first class enablers and I wish I could keep up with you. How many hours a day do you stitch? Thank you for all your efforts as I deeply appreciate all that you do.
Thank you for watching!!! and I drop everything to watch Kitten Stitcher too!!!! I totally understand! I think we both stitch about 2 hours or so during the work week and for as many hours as we can on Saturday and Sunday!!! Brenda finishes a lot more than I do.......she has more stitck-to-it-ness.
Ya but when I am feeling blah, I wait for you guys !
That is so nice of you to say Pat!!! Hugs!
Hello, thank you for being on floss tube. Can you tell me where you buy the thread ring charms. I am working on anniversary of the heart and would like a bling for the thread ring. I played back the video and for some reason I can’t make out what you said, lol.....my hearing is getting bad. I googled floss ring charms but can’t find that particular one. Love all the projects and thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Hi Shirley, not sure if that one is available any longer, but go to Sampling of Memories on Etsy for lots of great floss rings!!!!!
Brenda and the Serial Starter thank you I will check it out👍
I couldn’t find your patterns however I have four patterns to be delivered Saturday
That is so exciting!!!!! Have fun tomorrow!
Brenda and the Serial Starter I got my Brenda Keyes patterns yesterday and got thread today. Now to go through my fabrics.
Great video....I have Saltbox Sampler in my stash to do. I'm loving the red sampler I'm working on right now and the two of talk about silk...I've never tried silks...was wondering if you could suggest a red silk to be my first purchase of a silk. Would love to do another red sampler when I'm finished with this one. Thanks so much.
Thanks Carol!!! Hey, will you email me your address? I would love to send you one of the skeins of silk I bought and am now not going to use for that project. It is Gloriana silk in the color Cranberry. That way you can experiment with it and see if you like it. My email address is duetabode@comcast.net This is Laura by the way. And in terms of purchases of silk. I am really loving NPI silk right now, but it is not overdyed. It is like DMC same color all the way through. Au ver soie (spelling??) is really beautiful silk too. So is Belle Soie. Send me an email so I can send you a skein.
Hi Brenda and Laura, do you have any tips on getting your sampler boarders to match up?. It has been awhile since I did a boarder. It just about drove me over the edge. Thankfully my friends and family don't have a clue about cross stitch. They don't think I make any mistakes. LOL I so enjoy watching you both. Have a good week.
Hi Virginia -- I don't have any "tips" for matching up borders. Just careful careful counting:))) I usually do my border as I go matching up interior motifs with the border
Thank you, I thought I was doing that, but boy did I ever mess up. Think I was pushing myself too hard. wanted to get it done.
I stitched Mary Corey several years ago, I changed her name to Mary Eliza, who was my Great Grandmother. The Adam and Eve remind me of the Flintstone children Pebbles and Bam Bam
Betty!!! That is hilarious!!! You are so right with that comparison!!!
