I took out the patterns I wanted or kept the magazine that had most of what i liked and sent the rest to recycling. I agree, as well, the early magazines were the best.

You two have really broadened my stitching repertoire! Now I suddenly want to stitch samplers. I called Inspired Needle and ordered the chart, fabric, and silks for Ellen Strick. I’ve never used silks! I also called and signed up for the virtual retreat in September at Sassy Jacks. You sneaky enablers!

I did that with my Cross Country Stitching magazines. Dumped them when I went back to work fulltime. Now that Im back to stitching Ive been buying them again from here or there. Still searching for the more recent issues of the 2000s. Lesson learned here.

Brenda and the Serial Starter I would love that! I use a lot of scrapbook stickers that come in 12” sheets. Happy Planner has themed books and all the craft stores sell those.

And Brenda's over there all calm, having made her peace with the past while Laura is reduced to a twitching jelly. This is what friendship is about. LOL. Also, I will be deeply disappointed to have an episode in which the cuckoo clock does not interrupt one of you. This week's interruption was classic. I tell ya, that little bird has a sense of humor. Just FYI Dover Publications has smaller books of similarly styled stickers. It's not a gorgeous encyclopedia like the Antiquarian Sticker Book, but there are some fun themes. I missed your smiling faces last weekend (I got spoiled with the every week flosstubes) but the fun banter and just watching y'all together was well worth the wait. HUGS

Glad to spend part of my Sunday with you. I am also mourning the loss of retreats. I have lots of stitching time, but it’s just not the same with my husband working from home. Also there is the constant need for meals. Luckily I have introduced him to the kitchen, refrigerator and microwave. I also told him this isn’t a diner, so help yourself! Love you ladies and the videos are great. Such a nice friendship. I can so relate to Brenda and the Cross Stitch magazines. I just did the same thing. I took out the patterns I wanted or kept the magazine that had most of what i liked and sent the rest to recycling. I agree, as well, the early magazines were the best.

I’ve never used silks! I also called and signed up for the virtual retreat in September at Sassy Jacks. You sneaky enablers!

I did that with my Cross Country Stitching magazines. Dumped them when I went back to work fulltime. Now that Im back to stitching Ive been buying them again from here or there. Still searching for the more recent issues of the 2000s. Lesson learned here.

"What kind of psychotic break did you have?" I spit out my Tang at this point. I just love y'all. And Brenda's over there all calm, having made her peace with the past while Laura is reduced to a twitching jelly. This is what friendship is about. LOL.
Also, I will be deeply disappointed to have an episode in which the cuckoo clock does not interrupt one of you. This week's interruption was classic. I tell ya, that little bird has a sense of humor. Just FYI Dover Publications has smaller books of similarly styled stickers. It's not a gorgeous encyclopedia like the Antiquarian Sticker Book, but there are some fun themes.
I missed your smiling faces last weekend (I got spoiled with the every week flosstubes) but the fun banter and just watching y'all together was well worth the wait. HUGS

Glad to spend part of my Sunday with you. I am also mourning the loss of retreats. I have lots of stitching time, but it’s just not the same with my husband working from home. Also there is the constant need for meals. Luckily I have introduced him to the kitchen, refrigerator and microwave. I also told him this isn’t a diner, so help yourself!
