I can think of no one I know, either in person or on Flosstube, that exemplifies "never admire quietly" more than you do, Sarah. Your shares of other people's work and your kind words are inspirational. I like that phrase! Thanks for another fun and interesting video!
I always try to compliment someone every day. You don't know what their day has been like but your compliment just might be a bright spot that they needed.
Sarah, I Love you too my dear friend, thank you for that❣️ Never admire quietly is something we all learned about you & from you in short order and how to share that gift with others..truly grateful. Now laundry basket of WIP’S was so fun to see & beautiful, will look forward to seeing a few finishes in near future . Oh and then the fabulous new starts what a look of joy was on your face 😁 The chosen birth sampler is adorable will be perfect for her, I will enjoy watching it come to life…What a beautiful family Sarah keep those photos coming 🥰 Enjoy your stitching, take good care, 🕊️ LaNelle
Good morning, LaNelle. I do love starting and stitching all the things, and will love getting to work on Aria’s birth sampler and stocking. Thank you for watching and all of your kind support. Happy stitching
I think we are going to need all the kindness and admiration more than ever. I know I need to feel the warmth of giving it. Thank you for all you do. I would always love to zoom.
Never admire quietly are indeed words to live by. Let me say how much I admire you. Your stitching and your attitude towards stitching lifts us all up. Lovely WIPs today. Keep being you Sarah, and let’s hope 2025 brings us beautiful finishes, many new starts and just a whole lot of joy in our stitching.❤️ P.S. Zoom 😀
Good morning, Brenda. Your kind words are a wonderful way to start my day. Thank you for watching. I look forward to Zoom stitching with you this year. Happy stitching.
Sarah, I love the way you build community and focus on love. You have inspired me to admire loudly!! I appreciate you, and you have been a friend in my living room. Thank you for all you do.
Hi Sarah! It’s been awhile, I’ve gotten so far behind on my FlossTubes. Life has just gotten in the way. You are such an inspiring and amazing person. I can feel your love every time I watch your videos. Everything you are working on and have finished are absolutely amazing, I love them all. When you were talking and sharing at the end I was tearing up with you. I love everything about you and how you love and care about everything and everyone around you. You are a very special and unique person. Looking forward to your next FlossTube ❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning, Pauline. I appreciate you taking the time to write such a kind comment. Please know it means so much to me. Thank you for watching and all of your support. Happy stitching.
Sarah, your genuine enthusiasm and love for our hobby is so contagious! I love your wips, and plans, and your shares :) I hope to have a wonderful stitching along with you this year - I’ll need your encouragement from time to time for sure 😁
Good morning, Natalia. Your fabric and floss choice for Baldaquin Birdies is stunning. I am here to encourage you in your progress. Thank you for watching and your kind support. Happy stitching.
What a wonderful goal for all of us -never admire quietly! I think women should be very intentional about doing this for each other. Blessings on you in the year ahead!
Thank you for letting me spend a lovely hour with you while I stitched this evening. And, thank you for sharing my work. I love being able to share and see what other beautiful things are being stitched. This certainly exemplifies ‘never admire quietly!’ I always try to complement people with something personal about them. Sometimes it even ends up in a new friendship. I hope I am able to ZOOM with you and fellow stitchers in January. Looking forward to seeing what 2025 brings. Together we can make it bright!
Good morning, Kathy. I was honored to share your work on the video. It does not take much time to say something nice and it has the potential of a powerful impact, right? Thank you for watching and your kind words. I look forward to a Zoom in our future. Happy stitching.
I’m all about a zoom with you and stitchers. I look forward to seeing all your things each video! I have several of the same wips and started Jane eyre by mfe due to your enabling 😊 I tried wipgo once. I lasted not even a day. 🤷🏼♀Keep on stitching. xo
Hello, Trisha. Well, I have almost completed the first challenge on WIPGO this month. We will see how it goes. Thank you for watching and the kind comment. Happy stitching.
Wow, Sarah! You are close to many beautiful finishes, and I have a feeling January and February will see those happen. You are a sweet and thoughtful soul, which is why so many of us are drawn to you. Thank you for exemplifying the love we should project to the world.
Good morning, Suzanne. I do feel I have a couple of finishes on the horizon. Very soon it will be time to start Aria’s birth sampler and stocking. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching, my friend.
Thank you, Sarah, for your love and enthusiasm. Such a pleasure to spend my time with you. Although it's only a virtual hug, it really calms the soul. Happy stitching!
What an awesome video! I am catching up on videos this week. You are such a joy and kind and I think kindness goes a LONG way for everyone even if it’s just opening a door for someone. I am turning 65 this month and I said to my family that I want experiences not things. I am going to 3 beading classes and my husband also found ballroom dancing classes for us. My sons have something planned in the spring so I can’t wait for this year to begin! You go girl on 56 count! Yes the fairies of 56 count have a way of drawing you in. My sweet spot has been 46 count lately. Love your new starts and that Fairy Reindeer is awesome! WIPS are wonderful. Lovely family photos and looks like everyone is doing great! Thank you for sharing everything.
Hello, Renee. How I love what you wrote and I support you one hundred percent. I think you will love beading. I did it for many years and loved it, especially peyote with Delicas. I would love ballroom dancing. It is something I have never been able talk Stan into though. I can’t wait to hear what your sons have planned for your. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching, my friend.
I missed seeing Vince’s stocking this time around! Your projects are all so beautiful, and I’m sure you are inspiring more than me to just try higher count fabrics. I would love to Zoom with you and other Sarah’s Stitchy Spot fans!
Hello, Clare. While I was in the Bay Area, Eva and I selected the birth sampler and stocking for Aria. I must admit I am enjoying the small sampler on 56 count. I look forward to some Zoom calls in the new year. Happy stitching.
You do not need to thank us; we need to thank you. You are the heart and soul of our community. On a lighter side, my first sticker in my newly bound and covered book of days came from Trader Joe’s as well. A gift from my grandson, Oliver!💕
Hello, Valerie. What a lovely coincidence that our grandsons gave us stickers for Trader Joe’s. I so wish I had one near me. Vince and I had so much fun that day. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
Hi Sarah, I want to let you know that I saved your flosstube episode for today since I knew I’d have oral surgery and would not feel like much stitching. Your kind words and spirit brought peace and comfort while I sat with ice on my face sipping a homemade smoothie. I love all of your finishes and WIPS and I look forward to your next episode to admire your progress. I hope you find a friend who will stitch your kind words. If you do, I will be in line to purchase said chart! - ❤Cindy
Hello, Cindy. I hope you had a nice recovery from your oral surgery and I am thrilled I could give you some comfort. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Hello, dear Laureen. I could shout from the roof tops how much I appreciate you and all your generous support of this channel. Thank you for watching and being there for me. Happy stitching.
Lovely pieces, as always 🥰 I thoroughly enjoy spending my time stitching and listening! Hugs for Vince & Aria and a BOOP on sweet Annie's nose 🥰 Happy Stitching!
Hello my lovely, you are such a beautiful soul, you inspire us to try all the things and you always admire with a full voice and heart ❤️❤️❤️ I'm so glad to see you back and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Love & hugs 🤗🤗🤗 xxx Zoom
Hello, dear Audrey. I am touched by your kind words, my friend. Thank you for watching and your continued support. Sending love and good wishes for lots of stitching this year.
Please don't apologize for heartfelt tears. To see and hear your heart is a blessing. You seem like a very caring and loving person. The world needs people like you.. Have a blessed 2025.
Yay for for saying “never say you can’t “!! It’s great that you’re trying 1/1 on both 28 and 32 count, although the 7.0x reader may be a bit stronger than you need for the 56 count. You may find that you need different strength readers for different counts, which is why I have several different strengths LOL. Wonderful Floss Tube and I really admire how grateful you are for everything in your life ❤
Hello, dear Angie. How I appreciate all of your guidance and encouragement. I am finding that I am doing best with the Halo Go light and magnifier. Thank you for watching. Hope to see you soon. Happy stitching.
I'm really impressed with your near finishes! Wish I were closer on several things........Thank you for the slogan of never admire quietly. We all need to both give and receive admiration more. You are a bright shining light in the increasingly dark world we live in. LOVE the birth announcement choice. It is precious!
Hi Sarah - as a stitcher, of course I come to your videos to see the stitching and hear about the stitchy things you’ve discovered since you last checked in with us. However, what brings me back more than anything else is YOU - you so beautifully emanate LOVE and I wish to be that same kind of presence in the lives of those I touch on a daily basis - so double inspiration from you, dear sister! Thanks for being willing to share yourself with us in such a heartful and joyful way. Sending love from Central Illinois!
Good morning, Marnie. Your kind words are a wonderful way to start my day. Please know I appreciate that you took the time to leave this touching comment. I look forward to sharing our stitching journey in 2025. Happy stitching.
Oh sweet Sarah ❤️❤️ Wishing you the most wonderful new year! Thanks for being so kind and alsways putting a smile on my face! 😍 Looking forward to another year with you ❤️
Good morning, Alex. I, too, am looking forward to our journey together in 2025. Please know how much I appreciate your kind support. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
If everyone was as thoughtful and kind as you are Sarah, this would be a much better world. Thank you for doing your floss tubes. They always bring joy and contentment to me as I watch. I love your words of" Never Admire Quietly" So beautiful and so true. Thank you for sharing that. Wishing you and Stan a Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year. Hugs to your puppy too. ♥🐕🤗
Good morning, Pat. Your kind words are appreciated and a lovely way to start my day. Thank you for watching. Wishing you and your family much happiness and joy in the new year. Happy stitching.
I wrote NEVER ADMIRE QUIETLY into my Book of Days IMMEDIATELY. Precious sentiment that requires action, just like LOVE. Thank you so much for being you. ❤❤❤
Good morning, Lori. The most wonderful aspect is that it requires action that can be so easily done, right? Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Thank you Sarah for another wonderful inspiring video! I loved the zoom I attended with you and surprise guest Andrew... I think of it often with great fondness! You inspire us all and as I said in the zoom... you have changed us all for good... "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good"!😘🎵🎶
Good morning, dear Kathy. I enjoyed our circus of a Zoom as well. I am so glad that we met face to face in Canada and I look forward to more Zoom time in 2025. Thank you for watching and the kindness of your comment. Happy stitching, my friend.
Oh I love the birth announcement for Aria! I would not be surprised if that new stocking was done for Christmas 2025. Such a good grandma, lucky babies!
Good morning, Jeanne. I have scheduled Aria’s stocking for Christmas of 2026, but do plan to get to work on the birth sampler. Thank you for watching and all of your kind support. Happy stitching.
Oh Mrs. Sarah, I loved all your dangling threads, don't need to apologize for the threads, it just showing your beautiful progress. Can't believe you tried 56 ct, I might have to give it a try soon! ❤
Hello, Sabra. I am quite surprised about my experience with 56 count. I know you can do it! Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
Happy New Year! I was so happy to wake up and see your video. When I let the dogs out we are having a big snow here in NW PA. This will be a stitching day!
Never admire quietly is a wonderful philosophy to carry around and share with those who you cross paths with. You never know what someone is going through. This reminds me of something my bestie shared with me tonight. We have cocktails on the phone every other Sunday. She lives in Los Angeles as I used to until I moved to Orange County. I met her in 1977 where we worked at a bank together. We have been friends all these years. Anyway, she told me a story about an incident that happened when she was driving to Costco. A Christmas tree had fallen onto a vey busy street. She stopped until the traffic allowed her to change lanes. The man behind her honked a few times as he couldn’t see the tree in the street. She eventually changed lanes and continued to the gas station at Costco. As she finished pumping gas, she heard someone say he was sorry. It was the man who had been behind her honking when she had stopped so as not to hit the tree. He apologized again. It was so nice to hear that someone had gone out of their way to apologize and show kindness. I was so impressed. She and I are about the same age as you and unfortunately you don’t see people being nice to each other. As she said, these are different times than when we were young. So what you said in your video meant a lot to me. You are a wonderful, kind, joyous and a very uplifting person. Thanks for sharing that side of you because I don’t often see people like yourself. I also happen to love your stitching. The piece you showed with the bird is really cool. I’m looking forward to seeing the stocking you picked out for Aria. One last comment. It was so nice to see Angie The Tiny House Stitcher back doing FlossTube. She is one busy lady. Have a wonderful two weeks!
Good morning, Barbara. I appreciate you sharing that wonderful story. How wonderful that you and your friend have a cocktail together over the phone. Isn’t wonderful to have those friendships? I will have a picture of the selection for Aria’s stocking in my next video. Thank you for watching, your kind words, and your continued support. Happy stitching. Cheers!
Thank you Sarah for another amazing video. Your stitching is beautiful. Wishing you and your family good health and happiness in the New Year. Happy stitching ❤
Hello, Andrew. I miss seeing you every day. isn’t Fairy Reindeer adorable? Thank you for watching. I look forward to sharing our stitching in 2025. Take care, my friend.
Baldaquin’s Birdies is a beautiful pattern. You’re off to a pretty start, and it’s fantastic how you’ve embraced over 1 stitching. And now hexis! You go, girl! I’m typing this very quietly so Percy doesn’t hear me, as you know how jealous he gets, but the stitched bird in Eddie and Patsy looks great. MFE T&G Sampler very pretty. Oh Joyous Day is lovely, beautiful subtle shades. Cute birth announcement pattern for Aria. I’m glad you got Vince’s stocking done in time and it turned out beautifully. It’s not fun working to a deadline, but you did it 😊 Christmas Delivery looks wonderful, but what gives, Sarah? Why aren’t his jingle bells blowing in the breeze like all your other Santas? I like your "never admire quietly" words for 2025; these are words you live by every year. Your warmth and kindness are wonderful, and the Kleenex company tells me you're single handedly keeping them in business. A tender heart is a good thing. Sending lots of love your way.
Hello, dear Arleen. I have fully embraced the one over one stitching and must say I am enjoying. I have been working on Eddie and Patsy today. Please tell Percy he will always be number one in my heart. I did not like working on a deadline, and have made no promises when little Aria will get her stocking. Thank you for watching and all of your kind words. Much love in the new year, my friend.
What a lovely start to 2025. Thank you for the words to remember and the inspiration. Sometime this year I would like to join a Zoom call for encouragement and inspiration.
Hello darling! fun to see you so excited about all your new and continuing projects. I was fortunate to already do a zoom, but would love to do it again when you have a free spot. Your dangling threads, abandoned needles, wrinkles, zippers, etc need no apologies ... it's part and parcel of the craft, and we are not judges at the county fair... or anywhere else. xoxox
“Never admire quietly”. I love that! And with that thought, I must say I greatly admire all the stitchy goodness you shared with us today. My favorite is Red Berries by MFE. Good luck with WIPGO. It gets exciting at the end of every month waiting for the next numbers to be called! Enjoy!
Good morning, Debbi. I am quite fond of Red Berries and hope to add some stitches through the year and have ready for the holidays this year. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. I have found myself looking forward to the 25th and what WIPGO numbers will be called for next month. Happy stitching.
Sarah there are 2 kinds of FlossTubers..."influencers" and "community builders". Influencers build their channels. Community builders inspire and uplift others. You, my dear, are a community builder. And we are all here for you because of that. May 2025 bring you and yours safety, hope, and joy!
Hello, Lisa. I am very touched by your kind words and hope to continue that in 2025. Thank you for watching, your kindness, and support. Happy stitching.
Sarah - Happy New Year! So lovely to see you and thank you for all the beautiful smiles. Yes - I really love this - never admire quietly. I costs nothing to give someone a compliment and it could make their day! Loving your WIPs - especially Oh Joyous Day! Oh how I love that!! You’re almost done!! See you next time. ❤
Hello, Marilyn. I keep plugging away at Oh Joyous Day, so close. I don’t want to call it finished until I get my daughter’s initials in place as well. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
❤❤. I love your heart felt videos Sarah!! Just great progress on your WIPs!! Welcome to WIPGO!!! My WIPGo was so productive last year. I’m hoping for the same this year as well. I hope to see you at the next meet up in a few weeks! ❤❤❤. Take care! Love you my stitchy friend!
Hello, Deborah. I am certainly hoping to make the meet up on the 25th. I am excited about trying WIPGO and already looking forward to what numbers will be called for February. Thank you for watching and your kind support. Happy stitching, my friend.

Happy New Year Sarah! It took me a couple of days to have a nice quiet time to watch your video, and spend some time with you! I love your phrase for the year “Never admire quietly” and truly that fits you to a T! Your kindness and encouraging words touch so many of us. I have never chosen a word of the year before, but this year my word is “grateful” and I think you know why I picked that word! Thank you for your support, friendship, and kindness this past year, I sure wish we lived closer to each other! The photos you insert at the end are just such a treat! Aria is such a beautiful and precious little girl, and of course I love seeing Vince and Annie!
Hello, Carol. Yes, I am so happy you have so much to be grateful for this year. I am happy our friendship has grown and look forward to our stitching journeys in 2025. Thank you for watching and your kind support. Happy stitching.
Hello, Laurie. We are in Northern California and safe from this latest round of fires. We also need more rain desperately, always a fear of fires. Thank you for watching and your kind concern. Happy stitching.
Oh Sarah…it is so much fun to see you get excited about your stitching. You will certainly have quite a few finishes early in 2025. I am still wanting to stitch a stocking with you to support your effort. DM me when you want to start and we will start the process. Take care….sending hugs.🦉🧵🪡❤️

Good morning, Sharon. Sending you much love on a speedy and complete recovery. Thank you for watching. Looking forward to a Zoom in our near future. Happy stitching.
Wow. You have moved a level up stitching on 56 count. I don't know if I would be able to see it even with a magnifier. I am still waiting to try 30 or 37 count. Thank you for all your kind words to everybody and just your beautiful spirit, in general. It is always uplifting to watch your videos. Hope Big Brother Vince is enjoying his new role to little Aria. Isabel
Good morning, Isabel. I must admit, I am enjoying this little piece on 56 count. Thank you for watching and your kind words and encouragement. Happy stitching.
You are such a wonderful source of comfort and hope and inspiration to so many. Hearing your words today helped me to count my many positive blessings, especially my stitching friends who helped me get through a challenging Christmas family gathering at our house where 4 of 12 came down with the norovirus. Just like you said, my stitching friends had my back and were so kind and reassuring. What a blessing!! Hope we all have a great 2025 of appreciating each other! 🙏💕🥰
Good morning, Susan. I am so sorry to hear that your household was struck by the Norovirus. That is a very unpleasant illness. I hope all have fully recovered. It is not surprising that your stitchy friends were at the ready for help and support. It is wonderful, right? Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
I’ve been watching you from the beginning and enjoy each video. Love how organized you are about your stitching. Thank you for the encouragement of not admiring quietly. That’s an excellent challenge. I would love to be in on the ZOOM call, thanks for all you do.
Hello, Robin. I so appreciate all of your support. Thank you for watching and your kind words. I look forward to a Zoom in our future. Happy stitching.
Hi Sarah! Omg since cataract surgery, I need readers for 16 and 18 and stronger for higher. I can do 36 over 2 which I like cos 1 thread, but 32over 2 is my sweet spot. Even 25 over 1 is challenging. Can’t imagine how people see those holes 1 over 1. Started Nicholas’s stocking today, she chose a full coverage dimensions! Hope to have done by end oct! Or at least time to mail it. Determined as all had theirs by first Christmas. Will see. Lol So full coverage feb oh my.how amazing those 12 gifts were. Awesome beautiful items❤❤ oh the birth announcement is sweet. Oh Sarah you are the sweetest, most enthusiastic doul.
Good morning, Cindy. Well, we will both be stitching stockings together this year. I have made no promises on completion for 2025, as I am also doing her birth sampler. Thank you for watching and your very kind words. Please know they are appreciated. Happy stitching.
Sweet Sarah, How wonderful to see your smiling face again and catch up on your holiday stitching...seemed the holidays just zoomed by us so quickly! Thank you for sharing all the good info and especially new sites on the secondary market that I will be checking out ASAP. I am sitting in my stitching chair, with needle in hand, trying to finish up a Christmas WIP and watching the snow fall!
Prayer and thoughts, one stitch at a time. Together we'll conquer this mountain we climb. With LOVE and H.O.P.E., Our LORD leading hence, we do Hold Onto Praise Experience.

Hello, Desiree. Sending many virtual hugs to you as well. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching
You give and give and give in buckets. Thank you so much!
Hello, Dorie. You are very kind. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
Love your New starts but adore Fairy Reindeer, so cute. Great video you are a joy to listen to. ❤❤
Hello, Joy. Isn’t Fairy Reindeer the cutest? Thank you for watching and the kind comment. Happy stitching.
Love that - ‘never admire quietly’. That is so important in life, not just stitching.
Your video was as lovely as always - thanks.
Good morning, dear Barb. Thank you for watching and your kindness. Annie loved her boop on the nose! Happy stitching.
Hello my lovely, you are such a beautiful soul, you inspire us to try all the things and you always admire with a full voice and heart ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad to see you back and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Love & hugs 🤗🤗🤗 xxx
Zoom
Hello, dear Audrey. I am touched by your kind words, my friend. Thank you for watching and your continued support. Sending love and good wishes for lots of stitching this year.
@SarahsStitchySpot ❤️❤️
Please don't apologize for heartfelt tears. To see and hear your heart is a blessing. You seem like a very caring and loving person. The world needs people like you.. Have a blessed 2025.
Good morning, Mary. Your words are very sweet. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching in 2025.
Never fret about dangling threads - a busy stitcher always has them. Thanks for sharing your progress and love of this wonderful craft.
Good morning, Mary Jo. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching.
Oh Sarah, this was just so lovely! Your tears show how much you care about us and knowing that enriches all our lives. Thank you so much.
Good morning, Ginger. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
I'm really impressed with your near finishes! Wish I were closer on several things........Thank you for the slogan of never admire quietly. We all need to both give and receive admiration more. You are a bright shining light in the increasingly dark world we live in. LOVE the birth announcement choice. It is precious!
Good morning, Julie. Thank you for watching and your kind words. I am looking forward to getting a start on the birth sampler. Happy stitching.
Hello, Cathy. I appreciate your kind remarks. Thank you for watching. Enjoy the snow and the comfy stitching time.
Love you dearly Sarah! 🫶🏻
Hello, Maria. Such a sweet comment, warms my heart. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
Hello, Linda. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. I look forward to the new year with all of you. Happy stitching.

Hello, dearest Peg. Thank you for watching and being there for me. Happy stitching.
Always a pleasure spending time with you 🙂
Good morning. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Happy stitching
Happy to see you back to lots of wips and new starts :). Love the fairy reindeer piece and the birth announcement! ♥
It’s not fun working to a deadline, but you did it 😊
Christmas Delivery looks wonderful, but what gives, Sarah?
We love you right back, Sarah. I'm always delighted when I see you have a new Floss Tube up and love your progress on each piece, always.
Hello, Debby. I appreciate your kind words. Thank you for watching and all of your support. Happy stitching.

Happy New Year. Love and hugs to you always. You brighten my days and I am very thankful for you. ❤❤
I appreciate your kind words. Sending you much love and wishes for a happy New Year. Thank you for watching and your support. Happy stitching.
Hello darling! fun to see you so excited about all your new and continuing projects. I was fortunate to already do a zoom, but would love to do it again when you have a free spot. Your dangling threads, abandoned needles, wrinkles, zippers, etc need no apologies ... it's part and parcel of the craft, and we are not judges at the county fair... or anywhere else. xoxox
Good morning, Heidi. It is a joy to start my day with your words of wisdom. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.

Isabel

Great stitching and sweet, sweet pictures. Happy 2025🎉
Good morning, Trudy. Thank you for watching and the kind comment. Wishing you a happy New Year.
As always, your video inspires me to be “more like Sarah!” Your enthusiasm and love of stitching is remarkable. Happy New Year!
