Great to see you again, Ladies! Thank you for your continued contributions. I actually take notes during your videos. So many wonderful pattern and fabric ideas. Brenda, I cannot wait to see your framed pieces. Stay safe, friends. 💕
Another great video! Brenda, your multiple purchases make me feel less nuts.....I've done that numerous times, especially over the past few years....we are all so fortunate that we have stitching during this time, always has been therapeutic for me during the 35+ years that I've been stitching. Be safe and stay well ladies and stitch on!

It's always so much fun to watch the two of you!! Thanks for another great time of sharing and caring! Laura... OMGosh... Damages!!! I binge watched that last year and ...good lord, she's a tool. LOL! And Brenda, LOL glad you finally finished that damn grass... and then picked MORE to do!! Haha, priceless! Thank you both so much for the reprieve from everything else that's not cross stitch!
So wonderful to have a visit with you both. Smiles at the timing of your clock Brenda! And Laura luv your Rolling Bay tee. Brings back good memories! Luv seeing all the wonderful charts.
Brenda and the Serial Starter yes, been to Rolling Bay many times. Used to take my daughters to see the little chicks. As a single parent we took the ferry and went to the state park to play on the beach. I now live in Olympia and don’t get up that way as often. Love walking at Bloedels. Thanks to your tee shirt I might just have to take a drive after the virus lockdown is lifted!

It's always so wonderful to spend time with the two of you! I sometimes feel like we're in the same room enjoying our stitching. You all always have so many beautiful things to show, both finishes and stash (which I prefer to call collection). Plus the dynamics been the two of you is amazing. Thanks for adding a sweet bit of normalcy to my day. I don't think I'll be doing Maynia, my mind is too scattered, can't focus on much of anything. Love that you're able to do this remotely with split screen. I'd go into serious withdrawal if I couldn't watch your videos during this crazy time. Love everything you both have lined up for starts.
😂😂 lived it when Laura said she might have a hernia and a heart attack.. 🤣😂... Again, you guys have made my day by making me laugh and see lots of eye candy all at the same time~ Have a great week and I’m sticking to stitching my Saltbox Quilt Sampler stitch.... 🍅 looove it! Hugs n kisses from North Carolina!♥️
I just love watching you two! Great “what if” Maynia picks. My husband was in his office and asked: “Are you watching your girls?” I responded with “Yes. Yes I am.” Love you both to the moon and back! Stay well. Xoxo, Jen 😘
Awwwwwww! Thank you Jen!!!! Now you know how we feel about you!!! I really really really love your videos and your addition of humor and kindness....and I love your intro music!!!! love, laura
Ok! New LAW for me. I have to look up EACH time something new is introduced. I’ve had to back it up several times today. I hear Laura gasp and I know I’d better go back. Or the calm “oooohhhh” from Brenda is a sure sign I need to pay attention. Friends, you add some pleasure to my Sunday’s. 😊
Great visit! Laura, I just finished the GiGi R sampler you are working in. I stitched it in honor of my Grandmother. Her name was Viola and she was a special lady to me. I put her birth and death date on it. Enjoy. Happy stitching!
Thx again for sharing! It is a breath of fresh air to hear your laughter and watch how you both respect each other: This is an art form and I am trying to pass that along to our girls! After pancakes I told them there was dessert and we watched this together! Both of them know what it takes to create: Just finished putting our family initials on Jane Stanwix and they understand why, I love a true repro but have no issue with changing up colors; fabrics; or adding a meaningful motif! It reflects who we are: Seems important now with uncertainty all around: Anyway; thank you for sharing and preparing and caring! 😘❤️Love you both,
Thank you for your very kind words Angel!!!!! Also thank you for passing on this passion of ours to your darling granddaughters!!!! We love the way your make all of your stitching so special! Sending lots of love your way!!!
I love how ya'll drool over each others charts and projects. Such fun. When that cuckoo clock went off at just the right time, I cracked up laughing. Love you gals. Always love seeing you both.
I'm so happy that you showed Ardith Designs red sampler. She's so talented and always wonderful to watch. You girls are very inspiring! I love your passion for cross stitch. It was great seeing all that you've been working on. I'm so thankful to have stitching to keep the crazy away. lol Take care and stitch on!
Thank you for brightening my day today as you have so many times in the past. And I’m so excited about a special guest...who could it be? The anticipation is so much fun.
Hi Girls!!! Loved you today and thanks for the mention again❣️. Miss Brenda - please join our SAL in the Saltbox Quilt Sampler on Mother’s Day! Lisa kindredstitcher, Carol saltboxstitcher, and several others are starting it with me for their Mother’s Day start. I along with you am FOAMING at the bit to start it. Great video. Another 30 days? Bring it on - my stash is ready!
Thanks Shanda!!!!!! I have the feeling Brenda will be starting that SAL with you guys...and who knows I may kit up my chart too. Love that project!!!! Stay safe and well!!! Hugs!
Thank you for another great video. Originally from Illinois (lived in Woodstock before we moved) and love listening to you both. Excellent but-if-we-were-doing Maynia choices! Have a wonderful week you two!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I worked in Elgin, so my paycheck went to a shop out there. I've been gone since mid '80s. I have family in Crystal Lake though! They don't stitch :/
What a delight to see your video pop up. Beautiful choices. So glad the damn grass sampler is done! Laura - you stitched on the same piece for almost a whole week! So proud of you! Love love love all your choices and my husband is sitting here and said so which one are you ordering - it is the two you love! Usually costs you money! LOL
You both are such a joy to watch! Thank you for the laughs, enabling and showing all the charts. I love the Little Gems and pdfs are my favorites at this time. I am in the linen club too, I can thank Nicole for that, this month was absolutely stunning. It is when you get it each month you have to go through your stash to find the perfect project. So much fun plus it gives you something to look forward to. Take care and be safe and well. We are being extended too as well, in PA, our numbers are still rising plus there are curfews near us too.
Thank you so much Renee!!! Glad we are all in the linen club now!!! Must build up linen stash even more now!!!! The only good thing about a curfew is that you must be home to stitch!!!! Hugs!
Hi Ladies! I was going to mention to Brenda that several people, including me and Shanda in Idaho, are going to do a SAL of the Saltbox Quilt Sampler starting on Mother’s Day, May 10th. I already have mine halfway done, but I put it aside to wait til May 10th to start working on it again. It would be fun if you joined us! Have a great week and Happy stitching!! 🥰🐝🐣🌼🌺🐇🌸
Thanks Cathy!!!!!!!! Sounds like a great SAL and I bet Brenda will be hepped up about it!!!!! I need to kit my chart up. I love that one too. Thanks for letting us know!!!!!
I was perusing the new arrivals this week at one of my my fav online stitching stores when I ran across "In Friendship's Way" by BBD. I thought, "No, you purchased yarn last week. You also spent on floss the other day. You bought a pair of shoes a few days ago." Then, I heard a small whisper in my ear....."Buy all the Blackbirds....buy all the Blackbirds....." Also, Pineberry's "Winifred Glarke" has been on my wish list for about 6 months---great chart!
Talk about a heart attack and a hernia! That's what you gave me with all of the kind words about my video and Ann! Thank you sweet, sweet ladies! I have to say that Brenda's cuckoo clock is one of my favorite things on all of Flosstube. It's like you two have your own heckler and once you two start laughing at it, I start cracking up. Laura, you didn't have a Tab! I was kind of worried! Did you run out?!
Well...every word we said was the truth Miss Olivia!!!! Your last video was so much fun!!!!! Yes, that cuckoo clock is always causing hilarity!!! And about the lack of Tab.....I can't find it anywhere.....I am scared. I hope it comes back when life returns to normal. And I hope, hope, hope that we are together in August. Oy. Love you!
Amanda Mae is wonderful. Watch some of her past videos and you’ll see her sitting on what looks to be a day bed or couch. It’s actually a hospital bed. In the past, she was very very ill. She has products on Amazon that I need to pull the trigger on. I’ve got an order being processed at The Attic and Brenda G’s new Stay Home pattern is coming with that order. Can’t wait! Love visiting with you two! ❤️ My Maynia I attribute to you two and other flosstubers: I recently bought three BBD stockings pamphlets! I have too many WIPs but after seeing BBD stockings on a ring I have to stitch a couple. I bought March August and Sept. I also have Ruth Ellen Haystack kitted up with NPI!! I have Saltbox Quilt Sampler kitted up also!! 💗💗💗
You are right....Amanda Mae is a lovely vision of positive attitude!!!! Glad you have some great orders coming!!!!! Glad we have stuff in common to stitch too!!!!! Happiness!
I just checked out the Sarah Spencer pattern, I'm not familar with money value from England,so I guess my question is that pattern $10.00. I just love watching you two so uplifting and I want to do everything you ladies do. Thanks so much for these videos, I have started videos all over again just because I don't want to miss anything you ladies are stitching. Thanks again
Ok once the two of you can be in the same room again I am EXPECTING a 2-3 hour FlossTube!!!! A WIP Parade would be just fine! If you think I am kidding.....I’m NOT! It’s a law after a quarantine!
You guys should do Maynia, for real! I can’t imagine anything more fun than Maynia videos from you two! And the projects you picked are great! BTW, “Nicole” is now a verb. I watched Misty of Luminous Fiber Arts and when she shows her threads, she says, “let’s just Nicole these threads” and she holds them up and combs them. Lol. Also thank you for mentioning Barbara’s Daughter last time, she is awesome! Oh and I’ve been doing fabric from the Victorian Motto club for about a year, her colors are amazing and you’re right, it’s a deal. Her threads are great too, huge skeins (20 yds) for the same price of 5 yards of others.
Thanks Barbara!!!!!!! Maybe we should start planning for Maynia 2021!!!!!!!!!! I have noticed the new use of the name Nicole and I love it!!!! And I too signed up for the linen club with Victorian Motto! You are right...her threads are amazing too!!
Tks for sharing. In my humble opinion you two should do Stitching Maynia, as we can see you have everything read to go. Love love love it❗️🥰Stay safe, take care, and, Happy Stitching. Xoxo. Miriam.
Brenda and Laura it is always a fun time with your videos. The cuckoo stole the show today -loved it . Faux Maynia was fun to watch your choices. Brenda can't wait to see the framing and Laura you did good with your stitching . Happy quarantine stitching since it will be another 35 1/2 days in IL. I won't do hours and seconds lol
Thanks for leaving out the hours and seconds Linda!!!! And you are right the cookoo clock really did steal the show! Hilarious!!!! Hope you are staying safe and well!
What a fun video! Thank you so much for your kind words about my new pattern and my Flosstube channel! I really appreciate you both! ❤️🥰❤️ Happy stitching, Amanda Mae
Thanks for keeping me company today as I was ripping out hours of work on The Fall by Barbara Anna.😢😢 Seeing what you both are working on and thinking about was fun! I have tons of Stacy Nash in my beer growing collection of everything Stacy! She is one of my many favorite designers. Hope you both stay safe and stitch all the things!😊❤
I think the reason you haven’t worked on the projects yet is that there are so many beautiful ones. Of course that doesn’t stop the Serial Starter and most likely is the reason why she is a serial starter. The two of you made my day. Thank you for the visit.
I love being able to visit with you two every Sunday, it will be hard to go back to every other week when all of this is over. That cuckoo clock! You couldn't have possibly timed that better if you had tried! And, I AM doing Maynia, for my 2nd year in a row. 31 starts! I started 31 last year, finished over half. So, the ones that weren't finished are being carried over, and then the rest are new starts. All smallish, nothing big. And, Laura, I had to let you know that Redbud Cottage is one of my Maynia picks! Great minds...Have a great week , girls!
That is so cool Cindy!!!!! Would love to know what all of your starts are!!! Are we already following you on IG or do you have a floss tube??? You did very well last year to finish over half of them. I can't believe I haven't stitched Redbud Cottage yet....it is one of those that always gets me hepped up.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I am @cindy.m.hawkins on Instagram. I will post on there, I am not on flosstube. Can't wait to start Redbud Cottage, it gets me hepped up too!😉

Man, did I need to see you gals today! Nobody else lifts my spirits and gets me excited like you two! I love your not Maynia choices, all are winners. I am still plugging along on HATS 'Hariet Hartland" and am getting closer to a finish. Brenda, I have decided that Ester Iddison will be my next big start. It was between Ester and Mary Barres. When I saw Carol's Ester that did it for me. Really looking forward to your surprise guest next week, no idea who it could be. Love ya'll, stay safe!
Thanks Darlene!!! I just saw your Harriet Hartland a few minutes ago on IG and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Great idea to start Esther Iddison next because it is a beautiful sampler!!!!! I want to stitch that one too! Thank you for watching and commenting! Hugs!
Great video!! I always look forward to the video from you two; it totally makes my day, and I turned right around and watched it again so I could truly soak it all in. Nancy Turner is a friend of mine and I am so thrilled that the two of you will be working on her fabric and that you also have some of her threads. She is the nicest person and such a hard worker; she strives to always have great quality in her products as well as her service. I have been stitching on her fabrics with her threads for a long time and her fabric is one of my two favorites, the other being the new Legacy line from Access Commodities. My LNS carries the Legacy so I have been using it and I love it. I had to laugh when Brenda showed the pattern she bought twice and the coo coo clock went off!! LOL So funny. I just gave two patterns to my friend yesterday as I found that I had bought them twice and I also gave her a cut of fabric. I said that I can tell my kids that I am down-sizing my stash so they don't have so much when I die!! LOL!! Thank you both for continuing to do your videos; I would be lost without my cross stitch but I would also be lost if I couldn't watch the two of you also. Hugs and happy stitching...................
Thank you for you kind words Pam!!!! And it is so nice to know that you are friends with Nancy!!! Her linens and thread are such top quality!!!!! Truly amazing!!! Sending you a big hug!!!!

Thanks so much for your lovely comments Joan!!!!! The more we stitchers stick together ....the better we will make it through this time! Hugs!
That cuckoo clock has impeccable timing. Every video. Love it! See you ladies next Sunday.
Doesn't it though???? Hilarious! Thank you Jennifer!!!
i have gotten so much stitching done while binge watching your videos. You guys kill me though you make me want to start everything,
I know!!!! Whenever I watch floss tube I see a million other things to start!!! It is a vicious cycle. Thanks for watching Michelle!
Thanks Faye!!!!!!! Glad you are sticking with that piece. It is so beautiful!!!!! Hugs from us in Illinois!
🤗 The cuckoo clock came in just at the right time!! Thank you ladies, enjoyed it!
Didn't it though? Like it was listening!!! Thanks Carlene!
Thanks so much Jo!!!!! We appreciate your watching and commenting!!!
Great visit! Laura, I just finished the GiGi R sampler you are working in. I stitched it in honor of my Grandmother. Her name was Viola and she was a special lady to me. I put her birth and death date on it. Enjoy. Happy stitching!
Oh what a beautiful sampler that must be! How special. So glad to hear this Kimberly!!! That touches my heart. Hugs!!!
Thanks so much Cheryl!!!!!!!!
Hello ladies. So good to see you both again and love everything that you showed today! Have a great week and see you soon. Stay safe and well!!!
Thank you Julie!!!! You stay safe too!!!!
Cuckoo was wonderful, made the comment you made hilarious. Ladies, you really make my weekends great! Thank you
Thank you Linda!!!!!
Doreen Deskins you’re the sweetest Doreen! Thank you! ❤️🥰
The timing of the cuckoo clock was so funny.🥰🥰
So so perfect!!!! Thanks Lowana!!!!
Thank you for brightening my day today as you have so many times in the past. And I’m so excited about a special guest...who could it be? The anticipation is so much fun.
Thanks so much!!!!! You will love our special guest!!!! I just hope that we can get the technology to work...but I think we can.
Thanks so much Debra!!!!!! Did you visit Welcome Stitchery in Crystal Lake, IL before you moved?
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I worked in Elgin, so my paycheck went to a shop out there. I've been gone since mid '80s. I have family in Crystal Lake though! They don't stitch :/
I LOVE how the cuckoo clock goes off at the funniest times! I love you guys.
I mean!!! Either it goes off at the funniest times or we say a lot of things that are cookoo!!!!
Thanks girls. I really look forward to Sunday. You guys are the best.
Thank you Eileen!
LOL
Thanks Tammy!!!! So glad you are putting in an exciting order!!!!!!!!! What fun!!!!! Thanks for being proud of me!!!
Thank you for your videos! You are helping us all through this crazy time😀 have a good week-Shary
Thanks so much Shary!!!!
Thank you for your videos, it gives me something to look forward to each week!😊❤️
Thank you for watching Kandi!!!!!
WIP Parade PLEASE!!!!! I could watch ya'll all day!!!
We will have to do some variation on that when we are back together! Thanks for your kind words!
Well....I hope you pulled the trigger on that BBD book purchase April!!!!!! It is a law after all! If not, do it today!!!!
Well of course! It's in-route as we speak! :D
April Roberts excellent!!!!
Really look forward to Sunday’s and your videos. Thanks for the great updates and things we need to buy “right away”
Thanks so much for watching!!
OMG! I died laughing when the cuckoo clock chimed in about your second purchase of a chart!
Was that perfect timing or what??????
I think a new category of sampler has been created - “Damn Grass Sampler”
Yes! Definitely a new category....along with the huge house sampler!
Your videos make my Sunday’s. Once again I was going thru my stash after watching. Makes me ask myself why I haven’t stitched those charts yet.
Thanks Ginger!!! I know!! We all have so many amazing charts in our stash...I think it is because there are so many great designers!!!
I was really hepped up over this video today! Everything was delicious eye candy! Have a great week ladies!
Thanks Kristi!!!!!! Hope you have a great week too!!!
24 hour wip parade with you two ladies would be awesome 😂😍😍
I love WIP parades too!!!!!! We would have to all have a pajama party for this one though!
Oy. Love you!
My Sunday’s are always a little brighter after some time with Brenda & Laura! 😊
That is so sweet of you to say Jaime!!! Thank you!
Thanks for your kind words Becki!!! The Sarah Spencer pattern is more like $12 American...well worth it!!!!
Ok once the two of you can be in the same room again I am EXPECTING a 2-3 hour FlossTube!!!! A WIP Parade would be just fine! If you think I am kidding.....I’m NOT! It’s a law after a quarantine!
I love how you are laying down the law in this comment!!! We will have to start planning for our reunion floss tube!!!
oh i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!
Xoxo. Miriam.
Thanks so much Miriam!!! We could probably do 6 months of Maynia at the rate we are going!!!!!
Awesome! You both are so fun to watch. Thank you and God Bless you both
Thank you so much for watching Shawn!!!!! Hugs!
Thank you so much again Ladies. You are inspiring💐🙏💕👏
Thank you Rhonda!!!!!
Thanks so much for designing that beautiful red chart Amanda Mae!!!!!! Thank you for your kind and generous spirit! Hugs!
Thanks so much Laura!!!!!! Hope you are done with the ripping now....ugh!!!!!! and yes, Stacy Nash has 2 million great charts!!!
I think the reason you haven’t worked on the projects yet is that there are so many beautiful ones. Of course that doesn’t stop the Serial Starter and most likely is the reason why she is a serial starter.
The two of you made my day. Thank you for the visit.
Thank your for understanding my serial starter ways Mary Ellen! You have described it perfectly!!!!!
I enjoy seeing all of your projects beyond words! You two have the most amazing things to stitch! What fun it is to see all the loveliness!
We are really lucky that is for sure!!!! Thanks Barbara!
Can't wait to start Redbud Cottage, it gets me hepped up too!😉
Cindy Hawkins ok. I checked and I’m following you!!!! I’m maudeandmozart on IG
I love you girls so much! My husband calls you my ladies ☺. I'm loving your make believe maynia. I'm still laughing about Brenda saying Frances Grassby 😂. You really make my week! Big hugs.
Thanks so much for your kind words!!!!!! We so appreciate them!!!!!! Returning the hugs to you!!!
Smart clock, it doesn't coo coo when your feed is frozen!
Hugs!
Thank you ladies! I always look forward to your videos!
Thank you for watching and leaving such a nice comment Tonja!
So much fun spending time with you. Thank you
Thank you Lynette!!!
