What I find odd is that no one seems to be talking about th back door of Katherine’s vehicle opening before the guy with the gun gets in. Seems like obviously there is already someone else already in her back seat at that point. 🤔
I think it's POSSIBLE that the tow-truck driver was killed because he could identify who picked up the car, or because he saw something identifiable in the car, and not because he filched something from the car. Thank you for excellent summary of case so far, Gray.
I wonder if SHE could have just pulled off, ran red light and called police. Once you see that armed guy getting in backseat , I knew it would be bad. What a confusing case! Prayers for Justice!
There is some seriously dangerous stuff going on in this case. My guess all these events will be based on transporting illegal drugs. This is a huge problem in Florida.
She could have just driven away, but she didn't, even with a man walking up with a gun. Seems like she really didn't want to alert police to her presence. So, yeah, a lot of drugs seem likely. Maybe Miguel told her it was the buyer and they would be armed.
Great video Gray! It’s so incredible that the whole thing was caught on camera! So many odd things in this case! This seems like it is definitely something having to do with drugs. Absolutely crazy case!
And they found all that information about the detective, etc. on Miguel’s phone, which he turned over to the police. I also wonder if they were trying to get the witness information that videoed it. Who knows. Way too close to home for me.
This happened right down the street from me. I’ve lived here for many years and it’s a very safe area, family oriented. I was shocked when I heard what happened.
One thing I noticed on the detectives video during the carjacking after the edit. The gunman has the front door open and someone opens the back door of the white SUV. I don’t see the gun anymore, he closes the front door and goes in the SUV in the backseat. Who opened the back door?
I appreciate your wrap ups. I Don't have time to listen to lives. I am amazed at how much information is out so soon on this case. I wish that could be the same for finding Sebastian Rogers.
Excellent video, Gray. It clarifies a really confusing, murky underworld happenstance or several happenings actually, all linked to the same people, including Katherine's husband, Miguel. It screams drugs and money and could even be cartel related, as they're pretty keen on executing anyone who even seemingly gets close to knowing something they don't want anyone to know. Its like a full blown action movie, dealing with organised crime and the usual suspects within that, but im not hazarding a guess at the intrucate details, as it's not in my realm of usual interest (in movies). As this is real life though, I'm interested in understanding all the players and machinations here. There's obviously a lot at stake and Miguel is right in the thick of it. As you said from the beginning, the fact that neither he or Katherine called 911 when neing bumped and car jacked, speaks volumes. Knowledge and/or illicit goods were in Katherine and Miguel's car. But then you've got the random tow truck driver being taken out after contact with that one off green car model I've forgotten the name of (regardless) being given back to Miguel, complete with details of the detective who just called the number on Miguel and the late Katherine's car. I'm in over my head already, Gray but Miguel has the intelligence, as he's lied anout where his wife was heading and why, he didn't get her immediate help, he's been guven information about a detective who just tried the number on their previously for sale car: i mean, he's in it up to his eyeballs but there's people above him too, very likely. Basically, they've fucked up now, so law enforcement agencies are going to be all over this until they unravel all the sordid details. Im interested to know more as it comes to light. Thanks for making sense of it, Gray. My brain doesn't compute this sort of storyline well.
I grew up in Seminole County. I’ll never forget when I was a teenager the Swat Team came and arrested my next door neighbor for manufacturing drugs. That was crazy! We lived in a gated community.
thanks gray for mapping this out,and yes it is very strange that the husband or the poor victim didnt call the police for help, she must have been terrified,
When I watch the car jacking video it looks to me like someone opened the back door behind driver side and he slid in there. Which would mean more than Catherine in the vehicle and that she was still driving, no?
It’s so strange that no one called the police about suspicious activity after watching this happen at a traffic light. 😮 Yet people call the police all the time about “suspicious” and non-relevant activity. SMH.. how does this work?!? When and how do people decide to get involved vs doing nothing. Just watching.
Excellent reporting. Her huge and brother robbed the drug dealer and were trying to make it right. They got what they needed and put it in the green car. Now tow truck guy stole the shipment from them. That sheriff lady i think is corrupt somehow she tried to buy that car. Why dont know. This ia a very strange case have to watch it again. Sometime you just can't run down rabbit holes.
I keep watching, the video clip from the driver behind. You say the man with the gun got in the front seat, but what I see is that he opens the front door, you see the rear door open slightly, then it appears he gets in the back door, to me. Is he behind her with the gun? She would had opportunity to floor it, when he was knocking at the door. So odd that she did not. Thank you for the in depth account. Look forward to other updates. Also it is “Bawggie” Creek, the area is a creek with a “bog” 😊
wonder if the Catherine or her husband know the tow truck driver that was killed? Maybe the tow truck driver gave them out of the package and the acura people wanted it back (threatened the tow truck drive to get info, then killed him) they contact Migel and Catherine drives the package back.
So, is the phone number on the back of cars ‘code’ for ‘candy for sale’? Nice break-down btw. Must say was surprised cop gave so much detail at pressure.
Gray if you actually rewatch the video with the gunman it looks like he gets in the seat behind the driver it does not look like he gets in the drivers seat.
GHi it does seem plausible, but killing the tow truck driver and then in broad daylight a guy gets out of a car with rifle and gets in her car. Imo drugs or not the husband should of been honest thats your wife that was murdered. Bloody coward
Why would she stop at a light in front of a car that's bumping her, especially in Florida where the Red lights Last Forever, unbelievable. The engineering department needs their heads examined. Under Any and All circumstances and since your life is in danger, keep going annd do Not stop. Don't ever let anyone get in either. This woman was probably very new at whatever husband had her trying to do. I would have called 911, but who was sitting behind her opening the door? Im sure husband and whoever was tracking her vehicle, and she may have stopped to pick someone up who hid behind her driver's seat.
I keep watching the video over and over, and it appears to me that for a brief moment the gunman was standing with the front driver side door open, and the rear driver door opens. Does anyone else see that? Was someone else in the vehicle with her during the hijacking?
I see that too, although when watching it more, it almost looks like the gunman could have opened the rear door from the inside. I could be wrong though.
So Miguel and the county guy have fled or are missing? Where are they? Guess I have to play the video again and take notes. 🤓 It's early in the morning here ...😎 So far it sounds like drug rip off to me. Drugs that could be tracked and traced by the "rightful owner". And something about a husband who let's his wife take all the risk.... I'm going to play the video again now, while having breakfast.🍳 Thanks, Gray.
Makes more sense to me now, in my mind (hearing it late), I had her in the green vehicle. 🙄 I would be interested in the husbands bank account. My question would be, if Miguel was part of the ring, why would they take out his wife? Your theory would still work if there were documents in the green vehicle regarding a hit.... either way, very sloppy job!
Thank you Gray, for presenting us the mapping of this case it makes it much easier to see what happened in these murders. I love it when cameras pick up evidence this well, I hope the Detectives are able to trace this story back to the original person who planned. I am surprised that people can call into a friend for Detailed information on a detective working law investigation. It sure makes it easy for the criminals these days, they just call a buddy for the deets. He should be fired. This case goes a lot deeper that it looks on the surface.
Thanks for explaining this as best as can be I still don’t get it. Was the femail detective legit and was the detective arrested legit. So who is the original owner of the Acura Anyway thank you I like your channel
please share!

That's a good point.
The maps make all the difference in understanding to me. Great work Gray.
Yes, thank you.
I wonder if SHE could have just pulled off, ran red light and called police. Once you see that armed guy getting in backseat , I knew it would be bad. What a confusing case! Prayers for Justice!
Definitely I was thinking the same thing.. don't let him in!
Sounds like something straight out of the movies! Absolutely nuts. You did a great job detailing the timeline and the maps were very helpful ❤
There is some seriously dangerous stuff going on in this case. My guess all these events will be based on transporting illegal drugs. This is a huge problem in Florida.
Probably a mule that was intercepted by rival thugs.
I’m glad you are covering this not too many are covering it . Thank you
This case is confusing but you always take the time to explain things very well and I appreciate you for that.
She could have just driven away, but she didn't, even with a man walking up with a gun. Seems like she really didn't want to alert police to her presence. So, yeah, a lot of drugs seem likely.

Great video Gray! It’s so incredible that the whole thing was caught on camera! So many odd things in this case! This seems like it is definitely something having to do with drugs. Absolutely crazy case!
Thanks, Gray. I have no theory, at this point. Mostly just lurking and listening. (And yes, i always hit "like" on my way in).
Very bold of that guy to get out of the green Acura with a high powered rifle in broad day light. What kind of people are these!!!!
He was covered head to toe. Hard to identify him. But I agree. To just get out like that in broad daylight, is so brazen.
Great breakdown!
And they found all that information about the detective, etc. on Miguel’s phone, which he turned over to the police. I also wonder if they were trying to get the witness information that videoed it. Who knows. Way too close to home for me.
Gray is the king of mapping out crime scenes!!
Great break down! I haven't kept up on this...calmly walking up to a car with a machine gun!...drugs
I agree with your theory, great job explaining this case.
This happened right down the street from me. I’ve lived here for many years and it’s a very safe area, family oriented. I was shocked when I heard what happened.

He opened it himself after opening the driver's door. He reached in and opened the rear door.
Thankyou for the breakdown, this is one crazy case
I appreciate your wrap ups. I Don't have time to listen to lives. I am amazed at how much information is out so soon on this case. I wish that could be the same for finding Sebastian Rogers.

Seems strange the husband would send his wife to sell the drugs. I think you are right about what happened.
There is no honor among these types.
I think there must be a drug connection. Drugs are so widespread all over the country so it makes sense that drugs could have been involved
Ugh! Watching now. Was waiting all day for a video and kept refreshing it, just now see it! Thanks Gray!
I also think the husband knows something, I believe it was something illegal going on
I am interested in what was in the vehicle!

Can't believe the dealership let that car go without a copy of the driver license of purchaser of that car!!
How did the back door of the suv open? I didn't see him open it with the handle. Was someone else in the back of it?
I was wondering the same thing, it’s odd that the back door opened.
I see the same thing.
Did they explain how they got that dash cam? If I seen this I would be on the phone to 911. They may have, I just hadn't heard yet.
Had to be.
@ellen, the person filming it, did call 911, but the 911 operator was horrible.🤦♀️
Thank you for your hard work Gray🙂
It’s so awesome to watch a creator with integrity intact!!💯💜💙💯
TY.. that made it make sense ❤
I came up with your same theory

This is a very interesting case Gray. Keep us informed on this.
Great coverage on the story. !
Great job! Do they know who was in the back of the Durango? This case is crazy 🤯
Some kind of major drug deal
Unbelievable! Only one green 02 Acura inthe state. These cops are getting really good.
3. Salvage title vehicles can still be drove. 🤔
Thanks 🙏 gray!
This is definitely a wild one! Thanks Gray.
Hey Gray and everyone in chat land!
Thanks gray
Thanks for the coverage, Mr Hughes ! I’m just hearing of this now, from you - very crazy case !
wonder if the Catherine or her husband know the tow truck driver that was killed? Maybe the tow truck driver gave them out of the package and the acura people wanted it back (threatened the tow truck drive to get info, then killed him) they contact Migel and Catherine drives the package back.
Ugh… missed the live
Watching right now👍
well shoot I should have listened to your whole video, sounds like we are on the same page
That is an amazing analysis Gray. I hope the female detective is safe through all this!
Hit the 👍 button please & thank you
They also found a projectile on the scene as well. What could that be?
a bullet
Could have been an arrow lol just kidding.
What in the world?? Florida again?
So, is the phone number on the back of cars ‘code’ for ‘candy for sale’? Nice break-down btw. Must say was surprised cop gave so much detail at pressure.
Ohh good question!
A couple of my grown kids live in Seminole County 😬 Super crazy stuff!
Sounds like a set up if her husband didn't call 911!!!
Gray if you actually rewatch the video with the gunman it looks like he gets in the seat behind the driver it does not look like he gets in the drivers seat.
I think it’s cartel stuff
The deputy has been arrested, apparently!
I know, I said that in the video
Also, what car dealer lets someone take the car beforing paying for it and have no idea who they are?? Sounds fishy too
GHi it does seem plausible, but killing the tow truck driver and then in broad daylight a guy gets out of a car with rifle and gets in her car. Imo drugs or not the husband should of been honest thats your wife that was murdered. Bloody coward
Who opened the back door?

I was wondering the same thing.
They have the car purchaser name because you wouldn’t give a car to anyone without proof of identification…right would you??
Juan could probably identify the owner of the accura or may have been associated with him.
Awesome job Gray as always.
Wow
So Miguel and the county guy have fled or are missing? Where are they? Guess I have to play the video again and take notes. 🤓 It's early in the morning here ...😎

Cartel related
Great video
Thank you Gray! This is a puzzle & not many are capable of presenting this case in a way we can understand like you do :) great work!
Title should've bee transferred immediately.

Hmm. Their last names are all similar. Could that be some clue?
Was someone else in the back seat?
Hello Gray & E1
Gray your the best and most dedicated true crime host.
Our country is turning into a 3rd world Central American cesspool. Thanks Joe!!!
Welcome to our new America: cartels.
For sure drug related!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

the original owner is irrelevant. It was sold then resold and never registered.
It appears she knew them, there was no commotion at all between her and gunman at at.
How long was Catherine and Miguel together? Maybe the tow truck driver, Juan was killed because he could ID whomever picked the car up..
Hello
👀😳😮
It sounds to me that she was targeted so I think it was someone close to her like perhaps her husband that planned the murder. Very terrible
sounds like Mexican cartel type killing
Has the husband all over it!!!
Need 100 more likes in the chat. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Gray your fantastic 😍
