I had to watch again Becky. You described your marriage and it was almost like mine ,I got married at 17 and had my 5 kids by the age of 25. My husband was a drinker, a ladies man, very abusive to me and our kid's. I so wish I would had Christ in my heart back then. I stayed with him 26 years thinking one day he would settle down. I had left him so many time's before and he would always find me and I'd go back to him. After 26 years and all our kid's were grown and out of the house, he still didn't change. I left him one last time and it hurt, I loved this man so much but I knew deep down I couldn't go back. He got remarried, they were together 14 year's, he helped raise her daughter. He treated her so much better than he did his own kids. That broke my heart and the kid's heart's to. Im with a good man now. He doesn't drink or use drugs and has never laid a hand on me. Yes I do need Christ in my life . I watched you pray ,I didn't pray with you but I felt a warmth in my body and I cried. I have alot of hatred toward my first husband even though he passed away 5 year's ago and I know I need to let it go and so do the kid's. Becky. I need prayers and so do my kid's. I'm 65 now and have some underlying health issues and mental one's to. I'm going to go back in your video and pray with you this time. God Bless you Becky. Shelley, I believe that entire video and everything I said was for you. My husband wanted me to do the testimony. He said tell your story. I had notes. None of what I said was in my notes. I prayed and started talking. After I finished I tried to get him to edit what I said and take some of it out. I told him I said too much. I told too much. He said no, it's the truth and somebody needs it. I can't tell you how overjoyed I am for you. I do know what you are feeling. I also can't tell you how grateful I am to you for sharing you decision with me. You and your children will be in my prayers. I hope you can find some Christian friends and a good church to help encourage you. John is a very good place to start reading the Bible. My favorite book is 1 John. Obviously you were led by the Holy Spirit since you didn't use your notes. He worked through you and the best testimonies are the most messy ones because they give more glory to God. Hi Becky, I am just hearing your testimony Sep 2022. There are many similarities to what I have experienced in life and I can relate. My husband went to be with the Lord in the fall of 2021 probably under similar circumstances as yours. I can say that God has been so faithful to me. Keep sharing His goodness and wonderful salvation through Jesus Christ on your channel. What a blessing you are!
Becky I believe. I am in a dark place. I feel like the world dumped all over my shoulders. I’m losing my home. I’m losing my vehicle I’m losing my faith in my child. But with you I have no problem losing my faith in the lord. I know he is there and there is a plan for me and things are getting better. I just turn it over to god. Please pray for me and better times and with the lord in my heart I know I will be ok. I have watched this video over and over thank you. When I’m feeling low I pull this video up. I still believe in my faith. I know the lord is beside me and I will get out of this darkness. Thank you for praying with me again today.

That was a wonderful testimony. I pray that your story has helped someone in a bad situation. You are right, there is hope for any situation with Jesus! All we have to do is just turn our lives over to the Lord. There is nothing too big or too small for our Heavenly Father to handle. I loved this. Thank you so much for trying to help others. I have jus come upon this video and I know how your speaking to me..I was there but now I have Jesus..HE IS ALWAYS THERE..I love you sister in Christ..Thank you for sharing and being so open and honest..it is much needed in this day even tho this video is 1yr old..My mama was our rock I'm #4 of 7 kids where my dad was not a good man either. My mama spent YEARS praying for us, and the way you described ur granny was EXACTLY my mama..life was hard but she had her faith, Jan 22 2021 She went to sleep and that was it..she had fought the good fight and was jus worn out.It was only THEN that I realized how much I needed Jesus..I have siblings who are mad at God bc he took her but I know why he did..this video has touched my heart inan undescribeable way..THANK YOU...I really appreciate that there's no judgement..I could tell by jus looking at your face the sincerity is amazing..God is so good and I really enjoyed it..Thank you I was already drawn to your page bc ur a Christian and a really good cook so to see this side of you was awesome.God bless you

Hey Miss Becky! What a day. A local church that I've been visiting and I'm subscribed to posted the funeral service of a young father who died. I don't know him or anyone there, but I watched it. After I got over the initial shock of hearing four-letter words in church, I was able to just sit back and listen without judgement. It really sounded like an AA meeting, peppered with stories of what this fella did while he was drunk. And how much he loved his little boy. From what I heard, he had a very rough upbringing, as did his parents and grandparents.
I've been doing a lot of reflecting on my own life, going through a rough season with disappointments with people and churches. The Lord used you to bring a message of hope. My testimony of Him is (and never was) not in doubt or questioned, but the pain that we Christians cause each other, that's another story.
Anyways, I saw the recent video of you going back home and that spoke to me. Then I watched your testimony. Thank you.
I only heard the very beginning of your testimony when I decided to post it to the funeral service I heard earlier in the day. By the time I finished I was amazed at how it spoke not only to their situation, but mine and others I knew who are all in different seasons of our walk.
I posted it to the service that I had watched earlier in the day. It's my hope and prayer that it will touch someone. It did me. Please put this man's little boy, "DJ" in your prayers. I'm going to post a link to the service in case anyone wants to leave a message.

Becky is grew up in a small little town in monteagle tn with both parents being on drugs i had a wonderful grandmother that raised me iv been through so many struggles and when i was a kid i would ask god to take me out of the sadness and the misery and he did becky pray for me we always need more prayer im not like other people if you understand what im saying i dont have a wife and i wont ever but do i believe in him yes i do

Beautiful testimony; Jesus alone can heal, He can heal anyone; I have a soldier son who was in the theater of war three times, twice in Iraq, and once in Afghanistan; he returned with severe PTSD; I've tried to help, I cannot; he moved away from us to deal with his demons, and I pray for his safety and healing; I gave him up to Jesus so I could stop worrying and attend to the rest of my family, too; only Jesus can heal; I pray one day my son will call or return to us; please pray for my son, and God bless all of you.
They say that if we were making drugs legal or illegal today, alcohol would NEVER be one of the legal ones. It is such a crude drug and it is very hard on the body. No one has any right to judge anyone else's situation. I am a straight-up ELCA Lutheran and I can only imagine what you endured. You stole to feed your children and there is no sin in that, Becky. That is known as LOVE. 💙💚🧡💜

Wow how God works,, fell asleep across the bed and this video came on with the music blaring and slept all the way through all the music and woke up with you telling your life story. I would never have gotten to your story if I did not fall asleep just before your video started,, and I was enjoying the music all through my sleep.. Hi Becky , I fell asleep while watching some of your videos. I woke up and this one was playing. It is 4:30 in the morning. And of course I started watching. I am a new sister in Christ. And I really appreciated you sharing your testimony. I am dealing with issues with adult daughter and granddaughter who now identifies as a boy. They no longer have anything to do with me. And prior to all this we were so close. I feel like my heart has been ripped out. I yelled out to God to help me. And gave my life to him. They are not back in my family but Christ has showed me his love and what he can do. He has given me blessings in the midst of so much turmoil.. I am a work in progress but I am trying. Thank you for sharing and explaining in terms I understand. I have always been a believer in Christ I just never tried to walk the walk until this year.. Just know YOU are such a blessing to many...I know this will be a tough holiday season for you. Many as well as myself are lifting you up in prayer..Merry Christmas Becky...

I haven't seen that glass cross since my only sister passed away at 40 & we buried her with it. And I have her journal/calender - it looks exactly like Becky's Bible or book there too. Gosh, that's amazing - the Daffodils remind me of her too - she was an April baby. We too had rough lives - and battled over beliefs & bad marriages. At least I got more years to than she did to get to this point of realizing how much God is IMPORTANT. She accepted this long before she died though. This is funny isn't it? We went to Lutheran school & church 8 years solid too. Such hypocrisy in so many churches that ignore abuses going on too. Our story is too long to say here. But you're right, Becky. People will learn sooner or later God MATTERS. And don't take Him for granted NOR use God as an excuse to IGNORE abuse going on either!! Much love. 💐⛪

Thank you so much for your testimony. My youngest dtr also made poor choices as a teen. It came to a point I totally turned her over to God. She is adopted. So I told God, 'You loaned her to me, now Im giving her back! I can no longer deal with her behavior so please deal with her.' I no longer worried but trusted in God. Today she is happily married with two children and a responsible job. She came back to Christ and is a different person, Praise Jesus! Satans lies and delisions are affecting so many right now. Peope need to hear our stories of hope and redemption even tho they may scoff. Somewhere down the road they may remember it and give Jesus a try.
Amen! The only way the lost will ever know God is through us. When we share our relationship with God and His presence in our lives they can see He is real. Not to mention it encourages and gives hope to believers who may be struggling. God Bless You and You Family!

My youngest daughter disappeared back in 2014. Her life had spiraled downward, and you’re familiar with the rest. My tears can’t stop at this moment.

I am in tears when you speak of your granny. My mom went home to be with God 3 months ago. I feel.sorry for my 4 year old daughter , who loved her granny so much. My mom.loved the Lord , and its sad my daughter will never get to experience that realtionship anymore.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that your Mom left a legacy of faith--so important, especially in these times! I would encourage you to make a journal with your daughter about her grandmother's life and how she came to know Jesus. You could include Grandma's favourite Bible verses, words of wisdom, hymns, photos and drawings made by your little one. It will help with the grieving process and preserve the precious memories of the relationship with your Mom that you both cherished. Prayers and Blessings from a Sister in South Florida.

I went to sleep with RUclips running and I heard a voice praying. It was a woman's voice. I thought the prayer was directed at me. Maybe it was. I started to pray along with the voice. Then I woke up. And this is the video I was on. I have subscribed.
@@pjaccountname, I'm not a religious person, but what exactly is it that offended you so much that you just couldn't pass by without making a comment? 🤷♂️ Tolerance? Maybe the fact that you're hidden from anyone knowing who you are so it emboldens you? No matter your thoughts on religion, the morals it teaches could go a long way to improving a country that is showing more and more, that it's actions don't match it's words.
@@pjaccountname I'm Catholic, my Dad was raised Episcopalian but converted to Catholicism when he married my Italian Mom. This lady from The Hillbilly Kitchen reminds me so much of my Aunt Minnie and Uncle Perry who were more parents to my Dad than his college educated real parents...no need to elaborate on them! The Protestants sometimes speak out about their religion and pray almost like the Catholic nuns act...not so much the Catholic lay people. No need to get smart mouthed and offensive about a person whose videos you probably didn't even watch. She's a nice Lady and seems sincere with her communication with her viewers. No need to diss her. You sound like you need an attitude adjustment or were you bullied by the 'holier than thou' crowd and just assume as an adult anybody who speaks about their religion or prays is another person you have been conditioned against? Your problem, not hers and if you don't want to go through life with that wariness and hostility, you better start dealing with it. It is apparent and it is not pretty. You can do better by yourself than jumping the case of someone you don't know nor probably have investigated.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and powerful testimony. Not so long ago, I was lost, alone and in the deepest depths of despair. Spent many years in a suicidal depression, and although I knew God was real, He couldn’t possibly love or care about someone as horrible and wretched as I was. I turned my back on Him long ago, and was so full of sin, I knew without a doubt I was going to hell. But at that time, I honestly didn’t care. I didn’t think he’ll could be any worse than the life I was living. But then one day, I looked up at the clouds and asked God to please not leave me like this. And the flood gates opened. I started sobbing uncontrollably, and begging God to save me. And you know what happened? HE DID. Praise and glory to Him, He saved this miserable heathen! Now I feel a peace I have never known in my entire life. I am far from perfect, and I am still a wretched sinner before Him, but now I am His! I still struggle with my faith, I still sin, I still have doubts sometimes. But I am His, I am His, I am His!

Thanks for sharing your testimony. So many Christians do not realize that their faith in Jesus will be tested, at some point. It is then that we either trust Him and follow, or we turn away in unbelief of His word. God never said we would not have trouble. He said, in this would we would have tribulation. But, He said, He would never leave us. It's great to have a Christian sister like you.
