I'm not a hillbilly, but I am a proud country boy from the red clay hills of North Carolina. These recipes bring back a lot of memories. That chicken salad was missing two ingredients though: diced celery and dried rosemary (omit the relish).

You are like the greatest cook. Just wonderful delicious home cooking. One thing the kids have always loved is chunky homemade applesauce served hot with brown sugar, butter and vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. They also love funnel cakes.

You may never see this. It is February now 2023. I only found your show last month. I'm 69 and not real tech savvy. I benge watch now and thank God everyday for such a good Christian show. A wholesome show. I love your recipes, takes back. I am in western Oklahoma a small town called Elk City. I'd like to add this. For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son so we should have everlasting life. I watch on my TV and do not know how to comment. Maybe this will get to you I hope. God Bless.

I love your two ingredient fudge but I have a question. Do I need to keep it rerigerated and how long in an air tight container will it last?
I bake bacon sometimes so much easier than frying when I can cooked bacon it's nice and straight that way I then wrap about ten slices in parchment paper or paper from a paper bag pour just a little grease in each jar and dry can it , it's perfectly shelf ready and handy when I make beans. Rare to find it cheap anymore tho

If you're using a dark pan, try lowering your temperature by 25°
