To encourage you. I lost my husband in July 2020. We had been married 51 years. GOD is the only reason I am sane and alive today! Janes was my reason for living.. then all of a sudden he and it was gone. There were a lot of tears and it's not giving up on God. It's natural. Don't beat yourself up because you are sad and broken hearted. When part of you dies it hurts. Whether it's part of your flesh or part of your heartland Spirit! I lift you up in the Spirit! If you have a prayer language use it. Cry out to Him who can make the difference. I had to find a new purpose in life. HE gave me one! Thank you so much for your ministry. It means more to us who are your "RUclips" family than you know. MAY HE BLESS YOU VERY RICHLY AND BE VERY CLOSE TO YOU IN THE COMING MONTHS. I will be praying for you. No one other than another widow, who has had a marriage made in heaven, knows the extent of the loss we feel.❤🙏

I've used so many of your recipes, I just love them - just real old time cooking- I'm 77 but because I didn't marry and have to make food every day and, the fact I left home at 14 & have been self sufficient I didn't get the normal learning experience. THX for your 'down home' recipes - I love them all! Thank You! for sharing you're knowledge! And, thx for all the comments in the comments section - I learn a lot from you too!

This could be baked in a crock pot too, for a real lazy daisy treat. Just put a towel over the top of the crock and put the lid over the towel. I do that for early morning biscuits.

Amen! Hearing the Word is so important. Reading it orally to ourselves is so important. Our ears need to hear our mouth repeat Gods word. I know it is so that whatever we sew we reap. Including finances. God will take care of your needs when you are a giver. What ever measure you use when you sew that is the same measure you will receive back. That is Gods word. Settle in your heart that God is who He says He is and can do what He says He can do. Then that you are who He says you are!

An awful lot of yeast in two cups of flour. I make all bread in my stand mixer. It looks wet to me, which means I will have a mess in my mixing bowl and on my hands when I knead it. I have a good recipe for dinner and Parker House rolls. Got it from Martha Stewart, years ago. My mother made something similar out of Bisquick, Milk and baking powder. She called it a hoe cake and cooked it on a cast iron skillet. She would throw it together and plop it on the stove or Coleman stove when we were camping. I guess from start to finish it took maybe Thirty minutes.

PutGodFirst is something that many of us tend to forget. Non Christians and Christians forget these 3 very simple words "Put God First". We ignore these words because we are so caught up in the world and become lazy and it's so much easier is it not? We need to change this and acknowledge God in everything we do from when we wake in the morning till when we lay our heads down to sleep. When you wake in the morning let the first thought on your mind be "Good morning Father God I love you"
When you talk to God on a daily basis and it becomes more frequent until He takes up your thoughts 24/7 then you are on the journey of your life. Many people struggle with their faith because they blame God for not coming through for them with their prayers. It may in fact be your fault for falling short in your faith that your prayers were not answered. These are just some characteristic things that I have come across when prayers have failed. People become impatient and with that comes doubt ( you have already lost the battle). Then we have the repetitive praying over and over. When this happens what it says to me is that God the most powerful being in the entire universe who created the heavens and earth did not hear your prayers. Having that unmovable faith is a key factor to your prayers people. You will be tested folks but stay firm like the mustard seed. You are a blessing to God and his people Rebecca and I know that He is taking care of His own. Wonderful words of encouragement and cooking skills for your followers whom I suspect that #HeHimself smiles down upon you. God Bless and keep up the great work.

My Mama used to say, "The more you knead bread the more tender it is; but the less you kneed biscuits the more tender they are". My very favorite buns that Mama made was the clover leaf rolls. She'd let us kids roll the 3 little balls and then put them in muffin pans. Oh man, as a kid I always loved pulling those steaming buns apart. It was so much fun. Mama has been in Heaven for many years now and I really miss her and her amazing bread. No one has ever been able to make bread like my Mama did.

I think of my Grandma so often, and the delicious recipes she shared with me. If I’m good enough to get to Heaven, she is the first person I want to see …🥰💕

I forgot about those cloverleaf rolls. My mother use to make yeast rolls every Sunday. They were utterly delectable. The smell permeating the house always made us hungry and anxious. God bless you for the memories. LOL❤🙏🙏🙏

You can use a 12v 100watt mini rice cooker during power outages even with a small 300 watt solar power station like the Jackery 300 or Golabs R300, etc. Just be sure the power station has a 10 amp cigarette lighter plug. You can cook or heat many foods with one off grid. You can also dump cake mix in it since it`s non stick.

Becky, you know, most bakers start kneading way early... then the sticky dough gets all over their fingers... and, like you say, the urge to add more flour is strong... and when they add the flour, it sticks to the flour on their fingers and then, it is a real mess to get the flour off of their fingers... the best way is to add more flour to the fingers until all of the dough and flour comes of easily and into the waste basket, not the dough bowl....
But you, You just stay steady with the kneading, unrushed, and resisting the urge to add that extra flour.... until you are ready to turn out that dough and really knead it......
    I just love your attitude....
When the time is right, you'll go to the next step....
    And, it works everytime!
Thanks, Becky, for all of your tips when you are explaining the recipes.
I'm watching you on March Fourth, Twenty- Twenty-Two.......
Bret has been gone for many months now... and yet, when you mention him... because he was alive and well when you made this video, I get a real heart and gut pain for what you've been through...
The only good part of the Pandemic is that the two of you spent extra time together in his last months, whether or not either of you knew what was headed your way....
You are one in a million and, I thank- you for keeping up your channel.
I watch your new videos... but, I just wanted to watch this video and your other bread video again.
Binge watching your channel is a favorite pasttime of mine.
