I know this is a older video but I just had to tell this. I grew up in a city with a mother who can't cook. I've spent years teaching myself and my children how. Recently my mother-in-law came for a extended visit. She grew up cooking and raised her children much the way you do. I asked my husband and MIL what they would like for dinner the next day so I could defrost the meat or check the ingredients needed. She suggested pulled pork. I think she was thinking I'd run to the store for some pre-made meat. Nope, I remembered this video. She was completely surprised and loved your recipe. She even asked if she could have the recipe! I made several meals that I got from you, all to her surprise. I have Celiac and have to make substitutions for some things but not the basics. We even made Pumpkin bread! I had to use gluten free flour but my husband and kids are used to substitutions and know that it will taste good regardless. She expected me to not know how and everything to taste bad. By the time she left she said that I cook like her mother did and everything tasted like a fancy restaurant would serve if they knew how. I was so happy and grateful to you and your lessons! Thank you so much!
I made this last night . I mixed all my spice’s into the lemon juice to combine it all . It made it easier to mix it all over the meat . Thank you so much for this recipe . It was the best BBQ pork I have ever made . It was a big hit with my family . Have a blessed day . 💞

San Antonio...We love our barbeque and this is a great recipe! Love all your tips and your kitchen! Your signs and plaques are awesome! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Thank you, Becky! 😊
Made this last week, when the kids and grand kids came home for a visit . I stuck as close to your recipe as I could. I did use the lazy method, in the crockpot. Turned out Awesome. I've smoked Boston Butt many times and that makes good pulled pork. A pork loin works just as well and in the crock pot its cheap and really easy. This is almost fool proof. Cut up the loin, drop it in the slow cooker on low, and play golf or go to work. 8 hours later, generously apply Sweet Baby Rays and let it cook another hour or so. Makes flavorfully, moist pulled pork that couldn't be any easier. Toasting the buns is a neat trick. Thank you so much for sharing both the brilliant recipe and your faith and testimony. God Bless Ma'am.
Thank you for telling how you make it in the Crock-Pot. I'm making mine in the crock pot right now and wondering if you end up with a lot of extra liquid? If so, what do you do about it?
@@jend2862 I did have more liquids in the crock pot than I wanted at the BBQ sauce stage. I took the lid off for about 30 minutes and most of the excess steamed off. Worked great and made some pretty good BBQ.
I will definitely try this recipe. About the toasted buns, I toast buns for EVERYTHING. Makes hamburgers SO much better. Love your channel and love you as well. Nothing like Tennessee home cooking (from one Tennessean to another). I am a big fan of the Christian values. The world needs more people like you
Went in skeptical. This really is the best I have had. Very easy. Best part is how the house smells while cooking it. Thanks for bringing so much happiness to so many homes.

1000% delicious!! And you are right …using a pork loin make all the difference. I attempted to make pulled pork a couple of weeks ago using a pork shoulder and it was a complete failure. I make pulled pork all the time now, using a pork tenderloin that's about 4 pounds. You're right about the toasted buns. It makes a world of difference and I don't make them any other way. The only thing that I do different is using a little vegetable broth to cook the pork in and I add apple cider vinegar for a little bite in the sauce. I've used this recipe so much that my neighbors ask me to make extra for them and I'm happy to do it. So thank you! It's been a hit for over 3 years now.
I made this a few days ago for a family reunion. Even my son loved it. So much so that as we gather again today, I am going to another family gathering but I prepared the pork and put it in a baggie and put the spices on it and will cook it when I get back. Hopefully that will work. But it is very easy and it was very delicious. And I shopped at BJ’s and got how much is 6 pounds of tenderloin for just over $15. So it is an expensive meal and my family all loved it. Thank you so much. I am new to your channel a friend recommended you and I’m thrilled to be here. Thank you.

Pretty good! I love this lady! Her food looks delicious and this is exactly how my mother cooked for us while I was growing up. I'm looking forward to trying her other recipes! ❤️
This is one of the revisited recipes. I can honestly say it is awesome. I use boneless country-style ribs (translate: irregularly shaped pork slices ... and I get the more lean version). Super cheap... super easy... super delicious... and it works. I add sliced onion and cook it in a crockpot. The only problem I have is family members who don't eat pork! (This also works with beef...chuck roast.)
@@jend2862 It's been a year since I wrote that. For several months, I've been getting deals on pork roasts of various types. THOSE produce a lot of liquid. That becomes a two step process. I slow cook the roast. Let it cool and remove it. Discard the liquid. Put cooked roast in fridge over night. Remove the excess fat that solidified. Shred the portion I want and place in crockpot. Add the ingredients to make it "bbq" along with a little water for moisture. It's good to go. These roasts are 8-12 pounds each but cost less than 1.00 per pound so it's been worth it. On initial cook, I just salt/pepper/garlic and onion powder it.
Dont eat pork? Well at my house if you don't eat what the cook prepares , you are welcome to go somewhere else to eat. It is rude to not eat what someone goes to great lengths to prepare for family or guests. Rude, period!!!

Tried it. Fabulous recipe for the price and very easy to make. Made 7 lbs and froze 6 lbs for later use. Just remember if you want “Smokey” flavor to buy a Smokey additive or wood flavor bbq sauce. I made it just the way she said and it was fine for me. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
So delicious, I just made it, thank you Becky your recipes are the best! I tried your pot roast a couple years ago and been making it every since, there is nothing left in the pot, it is so good my family and friends love it, thank you!
Fantastic video and fantastic channel! I was just as a 4th of July party wherein pulled pork was discussed at length, as well as barbequed ribs, so I really want to try these recipes!
Omg! Sounds so SO good...... As does EVERYTHING she makes! I'm definitely going to be getting her cook book as soon as I can afford it... I also love how most of her recipes I feel are even do-able for me! Cheers!
I bought your cookbook and used the slightly different recipe in there to make this pulled pork. You weren't kidding that it would be the BEST BBQ pork sandwiches. Cutting up the tenderloin helped cooking time and helped coat all the meat with the spices. The cookbook called for 1/4-cup of lemon juice and 1/4-cup of brown sugar, so that's what I used. Sautéed in my InstantPot until slightly browned, then cooked under pressure for 1 hour. Quick release (watch that steam!) then used my meat chopper (Pampered Chef) to break up all of the meat into small bits, added 1-bottle of BBQ sauce, and pressured for another 10-minutes, with another quick release. It was delicious!!
When we cook a pork roast (usually Boston Butt), it always ends up as barbeque. I'm fond of Marty's buns; large size, stays moist a long time, and is loaded with sesame seed. I base my sauce on the Pig Restaurant style. Lea and Perrin's W sauce, yellow mustard, a bit of water, and smoked paprika. We always put the meat in the Ninja to break it up, then marinate in the sauce. Just heat it up, put on the bun, add extra sauce, then chow down. Our home is going to be remodled soon. I'm going to focus on the kitchen. Yes, I love to cook. Was raised Southern style. Love this channel.!
Becky thank you so very much for this video. I am making pulled pork for my friends get together and well, I was unsure how to spice it. I don't know if you will even see this but I think a prayer was answered today. God Bless you and have a wonderful time with family and friends!

Super cheap... super easy... super delicious... and it works. I add sliced onion and cook it in a crockpot. The only problem I have is family members who don't eat pork! (This also works with beef...chuck roast.)
Family members who don't eat pork is not a problem, it means more for you.
Personally, i would disown anyone who doesn't eat pork.
Do you have a lot of extra liquid when you make it in the crock pot and if so, what do you do about it?
@@jerremiller5542 I guess you have no Jewish or Muslim friends. I do and some of my family member are, too. How cosmopolitan of you to take that attitude. :)😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

I never tried to do anything with yeast but I'm going to try with your step by step instructions. Have a blessed day 🤗
Sounds great 👍
Omg! Sounds so SO good...... As does EVERYTHING she makes!
I'm definitely going to be getting her cook book as soon as I can afford it... I also love how most of her recipes I feel are even do-able for me!
Cheers!

The way prices are going up this will be perfect thank you for sharing
Love to hear you talk, brings me back home!!!
Thank you for buying my book, I hope you enjoy it and I appreciate your support. God bless you and your family!

I made country ribs in my pressure cooker and they fell apart, so I made BBQ sandwiches. So good. This looks yummy. The pork fat is what we fight for at my house.
Keep up the great vids. It's great seeing moms showing everyone how and why families run.
