Hello Becky, greetings from the U.K. I love your channel, I find it very comforting. My wife of 54 years passed away last month, so I’m trawling RUclips for inspiring recipes in addition to the one’s Sue used to cook. So thank you for all you do, it’s much appreciated.
So sorry for your loss! May Mrs. Sue rest in eternal peace & joy! ....It is beautiful how food and certain smells bring warm and comforting memories of loved ones. Hope you find strength and consolation.
@vincefenton. I am truly sorry for the passing of your wife Sue. I know the feeling because my love of cooking enhanced after the passing of my beloved Les and I have been trying everything including gardening (even though I don have green fingers😂) the lot ever since but what I miss most is him fixing things around which I never thought much about when he did them. Thank you sharing and great comfort from and from, Merseyside🇬🇧🙏🏼
Hello Becky. I bet when you started this channel you didn't even think that you would inspire some random girl across the ocean to make ginger pucks for the freezer, but you did. Internet is amazing and your cooking videos are my favorite, thank you for all the inspiration!
Thought you might like this little story. I’m not a good cook, at all. I never enjoyed cooking and worked multiple jobs so when I was blessed with my son and as a single mother, I started to have to cook more for us. All the while I had 1 FT job and 2 PT. It was a touch time, 1997 through 2009 but soooo worth it. The story I really wanted to tell you is that for my birthday/Christmas or any gift holidays, I would only ask my mother for freezer dinners of the foods I grew up with. These saved us. I know that the people you, prepare and gift these wonderful meals to, GREATLY appreciate it. They are like handmade art or crafts, touching, meaningful and sooooo appreciated.
Plus they don't permanently require a place in your home like lots of gifts that we receive...I love to give and receive edible gifts - my favorites: pesto, jam, cookies and caramels, enchilada casserole, and fried cheese lace (cuz I'm from Wisconsin 😜)
Am I the only one who loves that you filmed and showed us you cleaning up the dishwasher and stuff? The realities of cooking are so much better than pristine magical everything is done videos...
I love that she doesn't edit out the reality of prep, mistakes and clean up! It's comforting and encouraging to me. I'm addicted to her videos now. She's real :}
I just felt compelled to tell you how sorry I am that you lost your husband & that you’ll be in my prayers. You’ve found a great community here on RUclips. Becky’s channel is a great place for learning & for friendship. ❤
Becky,we all forget things, you r human. I enjoy watching you. By the way I love your dog. She checkes on you every 5 minutes, so sweet. Thanks for helping your viewers. Kaye Suttles in NC
Becky, 2023 is my second year garden. I am 70 and stared my garden after watching you. I started with a few pots the first year. I Grew my confidence and a garden doing this with you. This year I grew 6 raised bed and canned food for the pantry. Thank you 🙏💚🐾
Hey Becky, I’m baking your pumpkin chocolate chip cookies right now. This is a huge step for me. I’ve been traumatized with lots of family loss( son, mom, dad, sister) and cooking is a trigger for me, but I want to get better. So the dough is chilling. I followed every step carefully. You are my virtual friend that encouraged me. Thank you. Sending love to you and your family. ❤
This is the first time I came across your video. I rarely watch entire cooking videos, but you had me captivated from start to finish. I love how you dont drag it out with nonsense commentary. You cook quickly, efficiently & are informative & just pleasingly warm to listen to. Thank you. I'm a new fan & subscribed. I look forward to watching your other videos. Thank you!
I don’t know why it never crossed my mind, maybe because I’ve never seen people do it before, but all the comments show me I (we) need to start doing this for loved ones. I think I’ll start with my grandparents myself. ❤
I’m 67 years old and have never made freezer meals and you have inspired me to try some. It just goes to show you can teach an old dog new tricks…you just need to be a good teacher! ♥️👍🤓
my neither, tho I am not as experienced in life as you! I am 37 and just got married, but this is going to be so helpful in getting/keeping my freezer stocked!
My grandkids aren't fond of veggies, so I make them pink pancakes with pureed beets; green pancakes with pureed spinach and orange pancakes with pureed carrots or pumpkin. They love them and they get a bit of goodness too.
A lil pro tip; when I'm making meatballs or meatloaf, I always pinch off a little bit of the raw meat mixture and fry it up to make sure the seasoning and texture is on point.❤
12:45 "Whatever you find in the freezer aisle you can try to make at home" That is genius!! I'm trying to reduce single use plastic packaging and frozen things are hard, but yeah, with foresight you can easily freeze almost everything they freeze. Tomorrow shall be a prep day!
I admire your dedication to feeding your family well with nourishing food. You have a lucky family, Becky. And your sister-in-law will be so grateful to have these time-saving meals on hand once her baby arrives.
The reason a recipe calls for chilling the dough (in case you do not know) is so that a) flour can hydrate and b) butter can harden. This will give you a thicker cookie and reduce the amount of spread giving you the intended texture of the recipe.
Also to stop fermentation aswell and dough from rising any longer. You can rise a dough then don't want to bake it that night.. you can chuck in fridge and it'll stay the same size so that way it can continue to rise in the oven. I'm suprised she doesn't know this
I am definitely going to try many if not all. I love freezer meals because I’m single so I can make something that serves 6 or 8 and I can make that and freeze the others.
My mother died when I was 16, I never really had a motherly figure to show me basic women knowledge, thank you for your content, I've gotten some of the ingredients to make some of the recipes! Excited to see results!
Just a quick tip: if you bake your meatballs on a cooling rack on the cookie sheet, that allows the grease to drip down. And they brown nicely! Can't wait to try these new recipes! ❤
Another quick tip is tomato and aluminum don't like each other. If you put aluminum foil over a tomato dish the foil ends up with holes where it touched tomato. Aluminum reacts with highly acidic foods, and can impart a metallic flavor.
Thank you for making these kinds of videos. Watching beautiful, kind people cooking helps me deal with my eating disorder. I grew up in a house with even violent people and mealtime for me was not nice, but with this video I was able to finish my entire plate of food. Thank you
This should be shown in schools. How to cook in batch & use for the freezer. Such an interesting blog. All people could learn from this young lady her inspiration to help others. Thank you Becky.👍
I just came across your videos this morning (this is the first one I watched)...I was trying to meal plan, but don't like how some of the other videos only show you what they bought and tell you what they will make without showing it. I love the way you do things. I found myself thinking at first, that I may not identify with how you cook or prep because a lot of the stuff you use is/was made from scratch by you....but, I continued watching. You are so easy-going and your attitude is so awesome! I found myself liking some of your recipes and printing them out. I think the main thing is that you are very REAL. You are not perfect and you make mistakes, but I love that you don't edit that out. I CAN identify with you! I have subscribed. Thank you for being you and giving me so many ideas.
I love that each of these recipes can be made gluten-free. My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac last year and it's been a tough adjustment for our family, but we've been getting used to it. I'm also getting better with cooking from scratch as a result, so videos like these are a god-send.
Hey Becky, you probably know this already but you never know till you tell someone. I keep the rindes from my harder cheeses and use them when I make a cheese sauce. I pop them into the warm milk and leave them to "steep" it gives an extra cheesey flavour to your sauce 😁 hope this is helpful to anyone
I know, silly question. Are you placing the cheese rind into the milk as you start to steep the milk on a stovetop? When you say cheese rind, is it a chunk of cheese you can't widdle down when shredding cheese? 😅 I can see this sauce working with your own natural version of say maybe a cheesy broccoli soup. A smidgen of startch (?) to thicken the soup possibly? Any help is appreciated. ✨️👍
I love when you mention postpartum and remind your audience you're a mom!!! I understand keeping your baby's privacy but it is nice (and relatable!!) every time you mention your baby
This is the first video of yours I've watched and I just want to let you know I'm so proud of you in the beautiful worthwhile work you're doing for your family. I have 5 daughters and 1 son and knowing other young people are embarking on homesteading life and showing such candor and life in the kitchen is perfection. Kudos to you hun, and I'm cheering for you!
That is some nuclear powered cooking. Just found your channel and you are inspiring this semi-cooking bachelor to get some meals stored rather than spend twice as much on take-outs on the run. You are impressive. Thanks for the encouragement!
I love this channel so hi from England and I live in a remote village which has one small shop/post office but I'm surrounded by farms and farm land. What I love most about you is you're not fake you don't hide mistakes. Your obvious joy and love of what you are doing. We don't do canning here or very little. But I do make my own jams marmalades chutneys and pickles. I also make confectionary which I sell.
Unpopular opinion… I love when garden season slows down and we get tons of cooking videos! I enjoy the garden videos, don’t get me wrong, but Becky’s cooking videos are my love language 😊 Thanks for always sharing amazing, easy, delicious recipes Becky! ❤
Hey there Little Girl, I just ran into your site by accident. I don't have a crew to cook for but I so enjoyed watching you and that you are so thoughtful of your Sister in law just endeared me to you. I am 71 yrs old and I hardly know anyone who cooks except for me and you added some things I never thought of. Thank you for your pleasant personality and big heart. Your family is so very fortunate.
Wow I wish I had a sister like you! I’m an only child who’s now 35 with a 4 yr old, 2 yr old & one on the way. Having someone else take care of meals is the BIGGEST help postpartum. You never know how it’s going to go & with other kids to care for, you can’t get too sucked into your own recovery. You’re awesome! 🎉
Subscribed! Girl, I just found your channel by happenstance and I think I just found a kindred spirit, (albeit much younger). For decades I've held to the principle that if I'm going to cook, I'm going to put some up for later, whether freezing, pressure canning and/or freeze drying. Have also long believed that the BEST gifts you can give a new mom are ready-to-go homemade meals. TBH, I didn't really learn any tips/tricks/recipes in this particular video, but I am sure I will in others. However, I have one tip for you: Check your storage freezer once a day to make sure it's running properly. Have a friend who has a HUGE freezer in her basement and recently a large frozen ham fell off the rack, banging and opening the door from the inside while doing so. When she went downstairs about a week later, she found the freezer door ajar with that ham laying on the floor and everything inside completely ruined. Couldn't even cook up for the dogs. She's a homesteader with chickens and pigs and cows, so she lost over a $2000 worth of meat in just that one incident. 😱
Hi Becky! You have made a huge positive impact in my life and I’m so thankful that I found your channel in your early days in 2020. I’m going through a huge financial hardship, but thanks to all you do on your channel, I’ve learned from you the skills for building an at home grocery store. Canning, freezing meals and prepping food for creating quick meals, and bulk food buying. Because of this, I don’t have to worry about food during this difficult time. I’m even thinking about starting my own RUclips channel around similar content in the near future. I know you don’t know me, but I really feel like you are a friend in my life. Thank you for all you do.
Best of luck to you and when the times get going we learn just how resilient we really are or can be! Glad you learned survival tactic's and now want to help other's!!! A good thing! God Bless and Happy New Year!
@charlibravo371 no one is twisting your arm to watch or subscribe to anything. I respect your right to have your own opinion but sharing unkind opinions doesn't help anyone. Have a good day and much success in your life.
I just love that you are an imperfect cook. You spill, splatter and forget an ingredient! THANK YOU! It's nice to know someone else out here does this. Would you please do a video/s on how you meal plan your big cooking day.
My sister-in-law was an excellent cook. A home economics degree in the early sixties, she became a demonstration cook for Lone Star Natural Gas. I loved her like a sister. I’ve watched this video from beginning to end thinking, once again a woman has been blessed with a wonderful sister in law. Your recipes are wonderful in that, as you say, you control the ingredients. Bravo!
I subscribed to you a couple of months ago. I started with your current videos- now I’m going back and watching them all!!! I’m 51 years old and you have inspired me to do more prep and freeze it! I love having my onions or peppers ready!! Meal planning!!! Thank you friend 💝
Hi Becky, it is so sweet of you to make these meals for your sister-in-law's family. I am sure she will appreciate them. Looking forward to making some freezer meals for myself from these recioes. Thank you
Little tip for cookies that should be chilled before baking. Put the flour in the freezer before you start in the kitchen. As it is usually the final ingredient to be added to the recipe it will firm up the dough a little and ‘pre chill’ it.
This is what I do. Since it takes my oven a bit to preheat, I use that time to chill it in the freezer. Plus I wash and clean up during this time and then prep cookie sheets and prep to roll out dough if needed. Usually this gives it enough time to chill. I also put it in the freezer in between baking.
Happy Sunday, Becky! I've been loving your week of dinners series, but I was wondering when we would get another big cooking day! Feels like OG Acre Homestead. Lol
The algorithm lead me here, and I’m so happy it did. I’ve been really depressed and unmotivated, just wanting to stay in bed all day and drinking far too much. I think getting back into more cooking might help me get out of this funk I’m in. Because I do enjoy cooking. I think you are such a gem of a person. How much you care for your sister in law says so much about you as a person. Bless your heart. And thank you for being an inspiration and a light in peoples dark.
I can't believe I just watched an hour long cooking video. I hate cooking and I know nothing about it. I learned a lot and actually got inspired.Thank you❤
Hi, I just wanted to say how cool and great person you are for cooking for your sister-in-law postpartum. I wish someone did that for me when I was pregnant with my son. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Holly Cow. I loved this video. I'm so glad I stumbled across it. I'm the type of person who barley cooks because I feel like it takes me too much time when I get home from work around 6:30/6:45pm. This video gives me hope. I'm going to try to start doing this, and hopefully, I can have meals every day for my family instead of always buying outside food. Thank you so much. You now have gained a extra follower.
Every time I look out your kitchen window I'm surprised at how beautiful the scene is. What a HUGE blessing for you as it just has to make your time in the kitchen more pleasurable. The scene never disappoints.
Every time I see this videos of yours, I am so impressed with how you handle this, how organised you are and what a talented cook. And today I am even more impressed with your kindness towards your sister-in-law. What an impressive human being you are! 🙂
Growing up we called that size of pancakes "silver dollar" pancakes! These are wonderful for toddles and young kids, and fun for grown-up's too! Loved all your batch cooking recipes thank you for posting all this! Also just a tip for those who have allergies to peanut butter, my husband does, so with peanut sauces we just sub with almond butter and the results are still very yummy! ;)
@rachalnocchi5600 I went to America with my family when I was 13 and I've been to England as my sister moved their when I was 20 and she was 22 (I'm now 45) and I was always fascinated to hear the different names for the same item. 😊
Becky you are truly an inspiration to young and old. I will be 64 in Dec and use many of your tips and tricks for cooking and gardening. My husband is overjoyed! Thanks again!
I just found you on RUclips! I raised 3 active children while teaching fulltime. Now that I'm retired, I love to gift my 1:12:42 grown chidren (who now have families) with cooked meals. Your recipes will be a God-send! Thank you!
I never cooked in my life. I have a fantastic wife who does it all. However we are dealing with illness in the family and it is time for me to step in and up. Thank you for your show. It' a lifesaver for us.
Hi Becky is so fun watching you cook your so excited when things taste good, also I love watching the dogs circle your island looking for scraps to fall. Have a wonderful day.😁
I can't tell you how much I enjoy your freezer meal videos! Even though I live alone, I still use many of your recipes and ideas - I just package them in smaller amounts for one dinner plus small leftovers! Thank you Becky, for the inspiration and all the hours of fun viewing. 💝
I will be using these recipes. They look so good! Also, I absolutely love how Becky starts shredding cheese and suddenly the dogs appears under foot and starts to circle like little sharks. ;) Never fails.
You can also use a baking sheet too make mini pancakes. Just spray, put desired thickness (¼ d this batter y poofs) of batter spread evenly. Cook until desired brownness. Take cookie cutter( mine is a old tuna can) you'll sacrifice the corners but have same size rounds for stacking and freezing. Just a thought for you. ❤
I am always inspired by Becky’s indefatigable energy and motivation to supply her family with great meals. However, her little kitchen gizmos that she uses are things I adore. I adore kitchen gear even if I don’t always use them but they appeal to me. The freezer bag holders are inspired. My favourite gizmo is a French bean slicer. I have had it for at least 30 years and have never used it but I am happy to know that if I ever need one, there it is. It doesn’t take up much space. These things are so inventive and there seem to be more and more on the market all of the time. Becky is the best!
Hi Becky! I don't know if you know this, but next time you make baked mac and cheese, try putting in just a pinch of nutmeg. It totally sets the umami.🥰
I flat freeze individual items like berries, chicken strips and meatballs on cookie sheets then dump them into freezer bags after they are frozen. They seem to stick less and are easy to pull out a handful. Don't know if you'll see this tip but love your videos. God bless you!
I do that now with precooked meat, pre-chopped onions, bell peppers and other veggies. I also pre-shredd cheese and freeze on a cookie sheet before putting in storage containers. I learned a lot from Becky. 😊
Yessss I love a whole hour of Becky!! I’m 39 weeks and trying to get a few meals prepped and this came at the perfect time!! I’m going to watch and cook with you 💗
Greetings from the cold PNW! I appreciate your recipe suggestions and recently tried and loved that crockpot pork chop meal. You are incredible. Not only are you making 11 dishes today, but you are making them also for you sis in law. What energy!!! What a kind soul too!
She's so cute she said she was gonna have macaroni and cheese with meatballs for dinner and then they were going to Philly cheesesteak for dinner. Maybe it was two different nights filming night and voiceover night. ❤ Job well done, Becky like usual
Hi Becky, I recently came across your channel and the amount of motivation I feel to make homemade food is incredible. Also watching your videos has helped tech me how to manage my home when I am overwhelmed by the mess. Thank you!!!
Would love to see your island drawers and how you have it set up, I keep seeing you pull open a drawer or cabinet for your flour and sugar etc. Thanks. First time watching you. You make things look so easy!
Thanks Becky. I have watched so many of your videos over the last month or so and you’ve inspired me to cook again. I’m 49 with grown up kids with two boys still at home and I had completely lost my passion. Watching your zeal for food has given me inspiration to buy new kitchen ware, including an instant pot. Also, I’ve been making lists of your recipes. I’m from Melbourne Australia so seasonally it’s different. Anyway just wanted to let you know how cool your channel is
Hi Becky! I was wondering if you could show us how much you're saving by having your own garden in comparison to if you bought grocery store food and how much you spend maintaining your garden. I think it's be a really cool insight to see!
Three Rivers Homestead does an analysis like this. I think you have to be super committed to gathering the data points to really do this. Most gardeners don’t save money. The rewards are huge but saving money when you factor in paying for land, water, and your time is hard to calculate.
I watch your videos with interest. I was a great cook but gave it up because I now live on my own. You have re-enthused me with your prepd freezer meals which I can make at my own pace and always have on hand when my grandkids come over. I am also a gardener and do some canning with my daughter and her hubby. Keep the recipes and prep ideas coming, I really enjoy them. Thanks
So happy RUclips suggested this video! Definitely worth it! Watched the entire thing! Just became a new subscriber! Thank you for sharing your tips & tricks! Excited to watch/learn more for you! ❤
Hi Becky, Freezer meal videos are one of my favorites. Excited for a new one today! I have learned so many good ideas for prepping things to have ready to go in the fridge or freezer from your videos. Thanks for sharing your life with us. ❤
Inspired again! I always go back to the sweet & sour meatball recipe! It as well as the breakfast bakes & baked oatmeal have become family favs! Oh! And I've made the lasagna twice...with homemade noodles and Oh My Gosh is it the Best! Thanks darlin. Blessings to you & yours from me & mine! ❤
Becky, I’ve been watching you since you only had 2 videos on your channel. I’m so proud of your dedication. It’s been a pleasure to watch your family grow and you turn your new home into your dream home. Your beauty, intelligence and calming nature are very enjoyable to watch. Thank you for the years of inspiration. ❤
Hi Becky! I absolutely love your channel. Philly girl here too...thinly sliced ribeye is a really good cut of meat for your Philly. Freeze it, then almost julienne the frozen meat (so much easier to slice). If you can't get it at a Costco, if you have an Asian supermarket, there's a good chance you'll find it there. Sidenote, that mac and cheese looked delish!
Dear Becky, your videos are so inspiring, I especially love the freezer meals and pantry challenge series - please keep it up. you do valuable work. Greetings from Germany❤
I just LOVE ya! Thank you for inspiring me to make my life in the kitchen simpler. These tips you share are divine, and are working very well for me, as I take baby steps! Hugs to you doll!
I don't watch many videos from start to finish without skipping, but I honed in and took notes, lol. Oh my gosh, your whole style reminds me how the good cooking shows used to be done. It's what made me love cooking in the first place. I'm really excited to put some of your ideas into play. Like why don't I chop and freeze onions? I hate chopping onions, and what a time saver too. Also, cod cakes, crab cakes, salmon cakes... I can totally make them one day and freeze so they can be easily reheated. Instead of 2lbs bump that to 4lbs. Thanks for all your tips, recommendations and recipes. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
I ❤ all your ideas, I was a professional cook all my life and I like Shortcuts and saving time. Thank you for showing us all your talents Maria from Texas.

What are ginger pucks? 🤔

I love that she doesn't edit out the reality of prep, mistakes and clean up! It's comforting and encouraging to me. I'm addicted to her videos now. She's real :}
I don’t know how to cook. My husband did all the cooking and he just passed away. So, i just found you and hoping I can learn from you. Thank you.

I just felt compelled to tell you how sorry I am that you lost your husband & that you’ll be in my prayers. You’ve found a great community here on RUclips. Becky’s channel is a great place for learning & for friendship. ❤

I am so very sorry for your loss. I do hope you are learning to adjust on your new journey without your loved one❤
So sorry for your loss.
Your recipes of course are fantastic but honestly the most impressive thing is how much you care about your sister in law

Yes agreed . Very kind n caring

I admire your dedication to feeding your family well with nourishing food. You have a lucky family, Becky. And your sister-in-law will be so grateful to have these time-saving meals on hand once her baby arrives.
I just want to say that your sister in law is a very lucky lady. Those recipes look amazing!!!
Totally agree
The reason a recipe calls for chilling the dough (in case you do not know) is so that a) flour can hydrate and b) butter can harden. This will give you a thicker cookie and reduce the amount of spread giving you the intended texture of the recipe.
^^ I came to say exactly this!
Also to stop fermentation aswell and dough from rising any longer. You can rise a dough then don't want to bake it that night.. you can chuck in fridge and it'll stay the same size so that way it can continue to rise in the oven. I'm suprised she doesn't know this
Yep
I am definitely going to try many if not all. I love freezer meals because I’m single so I can make something that serves 6 or 8 and I can make that and freeze the others.
And it doesn't magically make the flavor better like many people say.
I LOVE how you scrape out the ingredients and waste nothing! ❤ I'm a fan and will be watching your channel now.
My mother died when I was 16, I never really had a motherly figure to show me basic women knowledge, thank you for your content, I've gotten some of the ingredients to make some of the recipes! Excited to see results!
Bless your heart ❤️
So sorry for your loss. It seems like there are so many people who wish they had a mom or auntie figure. Glad this helps some.
If you can read and follow instructions you can cook. After some experience you will develop a sense of what will go well together.
Just a quick tip: if you bake your meatballs on a cooling rack on the cookie sheet, that allows the grease to drip down. And they brown nicely! Can't wait to try these new recipes! ❤
That is how I always do meatballs.
And bacon 🥓
Genius hack! Thank you!
@@sylviasmith5443came to say bacon!
Another quick tip is tomato and aluminum don't like each other. If you put aluminum foil over a tomato dish the foil ends up with holes where it touched tomato. Aluminum reacts with highly acidic foods, and can impart a metallic flavor.
Just want to say as a mom of 3 all the way from South Africa thank you for all your inspiration in the kitchen. Honestly such a joy to watch
Small world ,fellow South African
Also from South Africa❤
Also from this kant 😂
@@jademarmalade890🤣🤣🤣
It's an honor you watch! Thank you!
That BIG smile on your face as you pulled the second pan of meatballs out of the oven, so busy, all for your sister in law. You’re incredible! ☺️
That gruyer cheese in the mac and cheese is wicked!
I used a smoked gruyer because I was short on cheese....IT'S ON ANOTHER LEVEL!!!!!!!
If they did, capitalism wouldn’t thrive the way it does. I hate capitalism by the way. It’s not natural or humane
I want your yard and your garden!!😃😃😃 beautiful pumpkins!
Your love and consideration for your sister in law is absolutely beautiful ❤
Great idea! Thanks for sharing 🥰
You can also put it in soups for extra flavor ❤
I know, silly question. Are you placing the cheese rind into the milk as you start to steep the milk on a stovetop?
When you say cheese rind, is it a chunk of cheese you can't widdle down when shredding cheese? 😅
I can see this sauce working with your own natural version of say maybe a cheesy broccoli soup. A smidgen of startch (?) to thicken the soup possibly? Any help is appreciated. ✨️👍
Also put them in soups and your spaghetti sauce 👍🏻
I love when you mention postpartum and remind your audience you're a mom!!! I understand keeping your baby's privacy but it is nice (and relatable!!) every time you mention your baby
Yes I agree I wish she would mention her little guy every once in awhile
This is the first video of yours I've watched and I just want to let you know I'm so proud of you in the beautiful worthwhile work you're doing for your family. I have 5 daughters and 1 son and knowing other young people are embarking on homesteading life and showing such candor and life in the kitchen is perfection. Kudos to you hun, and I'm cheering for you!
That is some nuclear powered cooking. Just found your channel and you are inspiring this semi-cooking bachelor to get some meals stored rather than spend twice as much on take-outs on the run. You are impressive. Thanks for the encouragement!
Life would be perfect if everyone had someone like you in their life.
I agree! You can do it girl! I would subscribe
@phantagirlableTotally agreed!!!
Best of luck to you and when the times get going we learn just how resilient we really are or can be! Glad you learned survival tactic's and now want to help other's!!! A good thing! God Bless and Happy New Year!
Dont bother. We don't need more clutter on RUclips.
LOVE that pro-tip about using freeze-dried zucchini to supplement the breadcrumbs!
I bow to the queen of prepping! This was so enjoyable to watch. Can’t wait to see more 😊
My sister-in-law was an excellent cook.
Aw thanks so much!
I had so much fun bingeing on Becky when I first found her!
I love Becky's videos and I re-watch them to.
Hi Becky, it is so sweet of you to make these meals for your sister-in-law's family. I am sure she will appreciate them. Looking forward to making some freezer meals for myself from these recioes. Thank you
Your such a great sister inlaw , I’m so jelly … 😂
You will probably get people wanting to pay you to do freezer meals for them, that’s how good you are ❤
I’m jelly too!!
Thank you this sounds like what I was looking for my daughter. She works and hardly want to cook. She's also tired of eating out.
I absolutely love using my bag holders.
I love how the doggo is providing assistance by monitoring your cooking efforts ❤
My daughter mashes up a banana, adds vanilla and cinnamon to her pancakes and they are delicious.
I Love cinnamon in my pancake batter! And I always top it with some peanut butter and syrup. Yum!
My kids, definitely love bananas in their pancakes and cinnamon is always a must. Fresh blueberries are also nice.
Little tip for cookies that should be chilled before baking. Put the flour in the freezer before you start in the kitchen. As it is usually the final ingredient to be added to the recipe it will firm up the dough a little and ‘pre chill’ it.
Awesome thanks!
In a million years I wouldn't have thought of that! Every detail counts and helps. Thank you!
Lol
I hope you enjoyed it!
I certainly enjoyed this, Becky! You are certainly organized! And I know everything you make turns out to be delicious! 💖
I agree. My kitchen window looks to the neighbor’s dining room.
Lol! I look right into a blank church wall😂
I look into the woods.
This video inspired me to clean my kitchen! It may seem strange. But it's been a struggle for the last couple years. Thank you!
Also just a tip for those who have allergies to peanut butter, my husband does, so with peanut sauces we just sub with almond butter and the results are still very yummy! ;)
We do too I just couldn't for the life of me think of that when I was making them lol
lol, I get it...mom/grandma brain is a real thing!

We call them pikelets here in New Zealand. The mixture is a lot thinner so it can either be spooned in or poured. ❤😊
@@amyrivers4093 Oh that is a cute name! Love it!
So thoughtful of you for making your sister n laws life more easy! We need more sister n laws like you! 😍
The cheese tax is real XD
My cat likes cheese.
2:04 - The sweetest doggo looks up at us! I love the idea of cooking at just one sitting.
Bless you for doing that for your SIL. I'm 38 weeks now and looking for ideas to make my life a little easier soon!
I love all your videos, but the freezer prep ones are probably my favorite 🤗 thank you for sharing with us, becky!
I agree. I watch and enjoy them all but when I see a freezer meal one, I am really excited.
Hi becky, nice meeting you. I know when cooking food with patients you can tell the big difference. Enjoy your meal.♥️💖🙏🏽😊
Hi Becky! I don't know if you know this, but next time you make baked mac and cheese, try putting in just a pinch of nutmeg. It totally sets the umami.🥰
Yesss! I do this with my baked Mac AND my broccoli cheddar 🤤
GREAT IDEA!!!!
Thank you. 😊
They also tend to get less freezer burn that way.
It might sound stupid but can u please explain flat freeze to me
@@DanielleGarcia-qi2sithey mean freeze flat on a cookie sheet, then transfer to freezer bag.
I put mustard in my Mac & Cheese too. I think I am addicted to watching you cook your amazing
and delicious meals!
Watching videos like these make me feel so comforted and happy because my mom didn’t teach me how to cook and I aspire to be this good at cooking
She's so cute she said she was gonna have macaroni and cheese with meatballs for dinner and then they were going to Philly cheesesteak for dinner. Maybe it was two different nights filming night and voiceover night. ❤ Job well done, Becky like usual
If you put a lid on the pot you are boiling water in, it will boil much faster! Love your videos. You are my favorite you tuber!
Hi Becky, I recently came across your channel and the amount of motivation I feel to make homemade food is incredible. Also watching your videos has helped tech me how to manage my home when I am overwhelmed by the mess. Thank you!!!
Aw that is amazing! Thanks so very much for watching!
Would love to see your island drawers and how you have it set up, I keep seeing you pull open a drawer or cabinet for your flour and sugar etc. Thanks. First time watching you. You make things look so easy!
Becky you are so generous and thoughtful! I love your energy and enthusiasm and the fact that you have an International following!❤
Girl, I don't know how you do everything you do! You inspire and rock my world!!❤
AMEN to that!! 💯

You really are the best sister in law in the world ! I hope she appreciates you and all your hard work ! ❤️
Amen
