I love how he always says he’s lazy, even though I’m pretty sure he works like every day and works all day. I’ve seen several videos filmed on Sundays so I really think he does at least some work every single day. I know a lot of people like him including my German grandmother, they can’t stand sitting and doing nothing, they will find ANY work to do even if they have plenty of excuses to rest. If you notice most elderly people that are very healthy are like that, it keeps them young mentally and physically!

Thank you for your commitment to making bonsai accessible and simple. I am an American living in Bolivia and, as a confirmed plant addict, have been rescuing naturally-occurring, but unwanted (because of location), ficus seedlings. That has naturally led me to dabbling in bonsai and I recently bought a juniper for the express purpose of creating a bonsai, thanks to your guidance on RUclips. That conjures some beautiful imagery. Thank you.
I'm a sucker for the zen garden styled bonsai setups where they make it look like there's a river and bridge and stuff like that, maybe a combed sandpit and monolith/upright stone. Takes the zen nature at the root of bonsai and then takes it into a miniature zen garden diorama. So gooood! It's like zen meta. Zen-ception.
Not sure if you play games, but if your into trains and model railways I'd HIGHLY recommend OpenTTD; it's basically Roller-Coaster Tycoon, BUT FOR TRAINS (+rail networks)! It's also free! (It's the open-source remake of transport tycoon delux; openTTD.)
also has road, sea, and air travel; but it's mostly to exclusively used as a virtual railway sim, and it's bloody fantastic at that.

@@peterchan3100 Your Philosophy is one of sharing, 20 years ago I remember a Kiwi (from NZ sphagnum moss capital) man with a huge bonsai nursery in the early 90's, at that time it did not have the artistic appreciation so I watched him sell beautiful bonsais and the business for next to nothing, Imported Japanese as well, I was too young then to do anything to help but I have traced a person who brought a majority of them
Now with your wisdom and videos I will buy them back and restore them, I also love the Air Layering so 30 years from now I will (cast my bread upon the waters) Thank you again

I can’t even imagine how you repot the whole forest - is it like repoting a single tree? How do you clean the roots - all at once, without dividing the forest into separate trees? This must be much more difficult than peeling the roots of a single tree. I think it would be a very useful video to show how you do it. Thank you for all your lessons, I get a lot of information from you

yes, once theyre made into a forest you never take them apart after that. the roots will be handled as if it were one
only if one tree is falling over or grows too close to another you might reset its position, otherwise keep them together

I do love the forests / groups, beautiful little landscapes and a bit more forgiving than single specimens !
