Yes big difference from the 80s but wouldn’t say one mentality is better. zeke is a pro pro, there’s other rippers on the islands who aren’t but still surf insane. Not everything has to be serious, 80s was all about fast loose and fun. Both mentality’s are completely good with me.

Hey I appreciate you doing a video like this! I just started learning to surf last year and my friends never understand why I spend some sessions paddling on my board at a bay for an hour. Glad I’m not the only one!

Oh wow! Jenna's house is on the beach at Portlock! I grew up on Nawiliwili near Lawai so I could just walk to Portlock and be out on the bay in minutes.
I'd surf seconds, pillars and China Walls mostly and occasionally I'd paddle over to the other side of the bay to surf turtles. And then of course half point, full point and pipe littles at Sandy's.

Ok... I must say it, this video is AMAZING, it's soo good, the quality is magnificent. You never stop to amaze me, there isn't one video of yours that I don't like. Anyway, I have a question: did you manage to catch or make some "ops and bloopers clips" like "releasing moments" ? You know what I'm talking about (those pee times that I suggested some months ago), maybe you can try to include your (or your friends') pee times anytime you do a video, just to put a funny part in it, what do you think?
