1st stop on my video watching: Rust Bucket Resto's. Format excellent, content impeccable, and vision for the car exciting. Keep up with your family and and we'll wait till the next video.
This old Cuda is gonna be a sight when it's all done! I really like your confidence in your restoration! It's always a pleasure to watch your segments. I'm glad I came across your channel!
Thumbs up to your approach to restoring these automobiles. Your attention to the structural restoration and alignment is the basis for a proper fitment of the outer sheet metal components.
Fabulous. And anyone who argues the 71' Cuda isn't at the top of the list of most desirable and good looking muscle cars......is in denial. Man this project is just flying compared to that Charger resurrection. Lovin' it. Gonna be good! Set the alarm system before leaving and drive safe. And no more whining about snow. Outstanding job. Very impressive how that came out. Definitely worth sandblasting the front frame section. I really like all the measurements, came out perfect. Going to be a nice car. Thanks for sharing. Take care, Ed.
These cars looked fantastic in High Impact Colors, do you know why it looks so damn good right now, because I believe that nose piece in between the fenders is Sassy Grass Green, if it`s me, Sassy Grass Green with Hemi billboards, it was a great look. I had my 70 road runner painted Limelight, it turned heads man, the reaction was crazy, everybody , stared, speaking of crazy, me selling it, because of divorce. Every now and then, I still bang my head off the kitchen table, hehe. Love that Cuda brother, nice job.
Makes me feel that I can do my own work on my 73 Challenger. I did floor pans already.next is trunk and quarters.then door skins. I would not have tried if I had not watched you do the Charger, thank you. Between you and Carthage classic cars,I have tackled projects that I would have never attempted.I feel that if I get in over my head I’ll reach out to pros for help.
Such good info! We are putting in our order for the first third of our 73 Cuda panels right now! So excited. Luckily we have fenders and a hood that we can use for mock up. Going to be a nice car!
Now is the time to build frame ties that would go deep into the front subframe. Bury it in the channel and no one will be the wiser, but you will know on launch and in corners!!!!!
@@rustbucketrestos6511 I don't remember what you did on the Charger, but you can hide box tubing inside the front subframe now and no one would be the wiser and it would make a huge difference in performance...
Finally got around to watching this video! When it posted, I was down at MATS with my fam as well, drag racing a couple ratty Dodges, my 67 Dart and 68 Charger. Didn't get to run into you unfortunately. I wouldn't have been able to wait either. I would have done the same and bolt everything on. Would have to see it all on there! It's coming along nicely.
Love the builds ....no matter how long it takes .... It takes me years to do a vehicle and I don't take on no where near the challenges that you do . Kudos to you my friend . I am curious however about the GTO ?
Nice job, I like the sub-lime header panel. The car should be sub-lime or purple, it's one of the only car's that look great either color. I cringed, when I seen u take the hood off by yourself with the new gilled fender's on. In that case I would not take the chance denting the either perfect fender , $900+ Fender's come off first then the $50 hood, if u get my drift, is the way I would be with my car.
Nice Vid, Did you have someone in the engine compartment to do any adjustments on the newly installed Hood Hinges to line the hood with the Fenders ? I'm ready for final assembly after Paint and am trying to see if I can put the Engine in before I put the front clip on.
Keep up the great work! 👍 Can everyone out there keep an eye out for a Charger donor for me? I can give a finders fee. 👍 My Cuda is folding in half. If I cannot find one, I’ll figure it out an put it together piece by piece. 🤔 thanks everyone! 😃

At least you keep your guard on your grinder . You will live longer . Great work 👍🏻💯🇦🇺old school MOPAR or no car .
Always keep the guards on! Mine has bit me bad before! Even with the guard on!
⭐Super beautyful playmouth⭐👍
Thank you 👍

Hopefully all that snow will fill up Pineview. The car looks great. I'm stoked your doing an E body.
Thanks brother! Pineview should definitely be in better shape this year!
Dude. I still love your format. I would not have minded watching you clean up the whole front clip. Thanks for posting your videos.
I had it blasted! Much better than I could have done at my place.
Excellent work and she's looking good, especially like the quiet background music.
Measure twice weld ones there👍👍Thanks for the videos
Looks great! Adding the front clip makes it look possible again to make a complete car.
Absolutely! 🤘😎
Looking good!!

Looks great! The gaps are probably better than how the car rolled out of the factory.
Absolutely!!!
The guys at Chrysler built 100s of these a day. The QC is not going to be great on every car.
Lookin awesome
Hell yeah brother! 😎🤘
Love this build
Me too! 😎🤘
Coming along nicely. I would have hung the doors to make sure your front end fitting doesn't show any sag or sway.
With it bolting nicely to the top of the pillar post and on the bottom of the rocker, I’m not too concerned.
awesome video the car is looking amazing great job on the front clip
Thanks man! 😎🤘
Congrats!! Good luck and can't wait to watch the progression
Thanks for watching!
@Rust Bucket Resto’s can't lie. Havnt yet :*( but it's definitely top of my to-do RUclips list :)

Love seeing your videos pop into the feed! Top notch work as always.

Looking very awesome my friend, great workmanship as always.

Don’t forget to keep making sure all your door/window glass(still) fits.
Like a glove!
And again here we go thought I clicked on a different video like Star Wars there but hey least getting to watch the Cuda and will look great buddy

The body parts seem to fall into place in this video but I am sure it took at least a little bit of adjusting to make the test fit look this good.
You’d be surprised! Got very lucky with this build so far!
It's great your are back to videos.! I'm sure you have explained a ton of times but could I ask why the Charger is on hold?
You gotta go back and watch the end of the last Charger video! 🙂
@@rustbucketrestos6511 Just watched it. Thanks!

It’s coming back soon!
@@rustbucketrestos6511 looking forward to it, love that year body style!

Will any other year charger front frame work other than a 71?
Very nice! Any 55 belair part connections? Thanks
I sold all of my stuff a while back!
CharaCuda ? 😁

Hello, what is the copper coating you’re painting on prior to welding.
Could you tell me what tool you used to strip the firewall? It took care of the paint and rust pretty fast.
Harbor freight wire wheel & red scotch brite rol-loc discs!
Talk about the deck for a moment I need more room also.. what size and tall ?
The mezzanine? I think it’s 16x16. 8 ft tall with about 7’ of clearance to the ceiling. Game changer for parts storage!
Keep up the great work! 👍
Can everyone out there keep an eye out for a Charger donor for me? I can give a finders fee. 👍

Keep an eye on eBay! That’s where I found mine for $300!!!
@@rustbucketrestos6511 thanks! I’m always looking… sure beats having to pay 600.00 for each framerail, etc…😬
What happened to the charger build bro?
You gotta go back & watch the last Charger video!
B-body front clip is the same as E-body?? Is A-body the same as well?
Are you putting a Shaker Hood on
Absolutely!
@@rustbucketrestos6511 Sweet I can't wait to see more.
whats the blaster guy's info? I live close to you so I can get hold of him for my blasting!
Innovative Sandblasting. Tell him I sent you! 😎🤘
What happened to the 65 GTO? I was following that restoration and then it just stopped.
A ton coming for the GTO! You will not be disappointed! Stay tuned!
I have still not seen a hot work permit for any of this.
Get off the couch and be my fire watch!
