- Hello and welcome to my channel! I want to introduce my 1971 Plymouth Barracuda project car. This car requires a complete restoration and I will do my best to document the process in what will be a long series of videos.
In this episode I start by installing the trunk drops on the trunk pan & prepping the pan out for the final install. I then get to welding, grinding and finishing the trunk pan install. Lastly, I weld the wheelhouses together, get them fit and also get the upper perimeter welded into the car. Be sure to stick around to the end for a MAJOR announcement! You wont want to miss it!

Nice work
I just binge watched all 11 videos on the cuda and now im real bummed i gotta wait for more!
Thanks for watching! 😎🤘
I have no idea how this video slid by me but at least I found it. Congrats on your sponsorship! That's HUGE! 👍
Grave yard Carz would hire you in a heartbeat!
He's better than then. No Drama! Lol!
No karate either!
He would probably prefer to be independent. But Mark Worman does have great connections in the Mopar world.
You're just fearless welding all that stuff into thin air. Sad the wheel wells won't be widened but you explained there wasn't much to be gained, for the effort required. Honestly with so much being replaced I don't blame you. Interested to see the modern suspension go in. Motor choice is yours. As long as it's from Mopar. Won't tolerate any sacrilege with an off brand engine!
Keep up the great work. Malcolm Ottawa Valley
So happy your pushing this project and hope the can help with the Charger I know the parts cost Big Bucks love to come see the car at this show I’m stoked

great work!
very slick the way you welded so much out in the open.
i went to basic training w/ a guy from Ogden.
Rich Huddlestine (bad spelling im sure). maybe you know him!
The Cuda is coming along beautifully! Amazing work!
Always such nice work... and good progress. I gotta admit though, I'm really looking forward to you moving on from the welding and actually putting one back together mechanically. Epic builds... and I can't wait for your future uploads. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I’ll be VERY excited to be at that point also! Thanks for watching!
Awsome to have such a great sponsor to help out in such a great project that your putting your heart and soul into brother.
Awesome work, gutted when the episodes come to an end, watching it come together and seeing you smiling away as you go is inspiring, well done on QA1 also, this thing is going to be epic!🙌🏼
Thanks for watching!
Felicitaciones Amigo como siempre excelente trabajo Saludos desde Argentina
I'm curious why you chose not to widen these tubs like you did for the Charger?
A ton more work involved on the Cuda than the Charger. If traction really becomes an issue I’ll consider adding them down the road
You are going to love the QA1 shocks, I went with single adjustable for my '69 Camaro. It is a big block and likes to nose dive on turns but stiffening up the front shocks really helps keep it from handling like an ocean liner. It was a night and day difference from the bargain bin Monroe shocks that were on it.
😊 put the ham in the 68
They all should get hemis!
The way you worded it your gonna take the drivetrain and all suspension from the charger and put it in this car, that’s the way you came across to me.just saying.your cars your labor your money.if so,so be it.👍👍👍😎😎😎kudos to you sir.
Both will be getting the full treatment!
Love your work ! How about the Charger ? An up to date would be great on all your different projects. GTO, CHARGER and CAMARO.
Haha & there’s more! 😬🙏
Nice progess
👍🏻🇦🇺💯⛽️get her done.
Congratulations on the QA1 sponsorship. It has been a while since you talked about the planned drivetrain for this car. Is there a possibility of a new generation hemi and manual six speed transmission? Are you sticking with old school style electronics or doing a more up to date upgrade?
You’re gonna like what I have in store. It is getting a modern drivetrain with the 6 speed 😍
@@rustbucketrestos6511 Please keep the engine Mopar. I like the LS the World thing that is going on but there are places they needn't go.
Looking great, please have your Grandmother pick different music.
😂
What is going on with the charger rebuild?
There’s 4 of them & only 1 of me!
Have u finshish the GTO Or Charger yet
Im progress!
Where did you purchase you hole puncher tool?
Eastwood. It’s called a punch/flange tool. Saves sooo much time!
@@rustbucketrestos6511 sounds like a good fathers day gift. Thanks!
Ha mate your such a tease lol
I won’t make you wait long… 😎🤘
What’s happening with the Charger???
Wheres the charger?!?! :D
It's in the next bay over. You can see it at the end of the video when he's doing his outro.
She’s waiting patiently for some epoxy!
no 426 hemi not the motor for the charger
How much time goes into selecting the background music? You always seem to choose stuff that isn't annoying like so many other channels. Heck, about all of the music you choose for your channel could play in the background of my life and I wouldn't mind!
Hey I'm doing a 73 to 71 clone. Just a shell right now. And I live in utah would you be cool with me stopping by and checking your build out?
If someone gave you a $5 bill for every spot weld on it and the charger you could retire!!
Please, not an LS!
