  • Hello and welcome to my channel! I want to introduce my 1971 Plymouth Barracuda project car. This car requires a complete restoration and I will do my best to document the process in what will be a long series of videos.
In this episode I start by installing the trunk drops on the trunk pan & prepping the pan out for the final install. I then get to welding, grinding and finishing the trunk pan install. Lastly, I weld the wheelhouses together, get them fit and also get the upper perimeter welded into the car. Be sure to stick around to the end for a MAJOR announcement! You wont want to miss it!
If you like my RUclips content, please consider subscribing to stay up to date. ALSO, check out our Instagram page @rust_bucket_restos as well as our merch available on this page. Thanks for watching!

You're just fearless welding all that stuff into thin air. Sad the wheel wells won't be widened but you explained there wasn't much to be gained, for the effort required. Honestly with so much being replaced I don't blame you. Interested to see the modern suspension go in. Motor choice is yours. As long as it's from Mopar. Won't tolerate any sacrilege with an off brand engine!
Keep up the great work. Malcolm Ottawa Valley

A ton more work involved on the Cuda than the Charger. If traction really becomes an issue I’ll consider adding them down the road

You are going to love the QA1 shocks, I went with single adjustable for my '69 Camaro. It is a big block and likes to nose dive on turns but stiffening up the front shocks really helps keep it from handling like an ocean liner. It was a night and day difference from the bargain bin Monroe shocks that were on it.

Congratulations on the QA1 sponsorship. It has been a while since you talked about the planned drivetrain for this car. Is there a possibility of a new generation hemi and manual six speed transmission? Are you sticking with old school style electronics or doing a more up to date upgrade?

How much time goes into selecting the background music? You always seem to choose stuff that isn't annoying like so many other channels. Heck, about all of the music you choose for your channel could play in the background of my life and I wouldn't mind!
