I have to admit I thought B was the f/1.2 but honestly you cant notice too much difference. Guess it comes down to what 'type' of lens do you want and style personal inlove the F1.0, but i love the scallop focusing on the F1.2
An added benefit of the lower contrast in the re-issue could be that you have better highlight retention when in high contrast or bright conditions when shooting wide open.
I think samples look extremely similar and I wonder if you shoot them both wide open? Also I would love to see comparison between Noctilux and Nokton ❤🙏🏻
Btw I really reccomend D-76 for Foma 400. Classic look, like the old formula Tri-X. I shoot at box speed, so idk much about pushing it in this developer.
I, too, prefer the A, but only slightly. The two max apertures are different, tho. Did you shoot the f/1.0 at f/1.0 or at f/1.2?
even side by side on my screen, A stood out as being much more to my preference. I was actually surprised by which lens it was though.

not huge diff and i would prefer to bring a smaller lens. if i want more 3D / sharpness, I would pick a modern lens instead.
My guess is lens A is the f1, lens B is the f1.2
