    I have a friend with a big printer and he too is a photographer as am I. He is always trying to pull that levels adjustment on me. Paintings are different from photographs. Unless I painted with a pure white pigment there's no whites in a painting. If I use a very light color in Rebelle it still is not pure white so the brush texture is visible. The Histogram tells the tale. Stretching out the highlights or shadows from what I painted will just cause a loss of the detail I paint in Rebelle to get in the first place. Make sure your test strip covers lightest and darkest areas.

    I want to take a moment and say how grateful I am for this video. I am new to Rebelle (5 pro), and I do plan on printing my latest collection (78 of them), so to say these tips are a blessing is an understatement. Thank you. 🙏🏽

    If you were to print on a canvas I guess it would be best to remove the canvas texture prior to exporting, right? How about printing on fine art papers such as Hahnemühle?

    • @EscapeMotions
      @EscapeMotions  28 дней назад

      That's correct. Remove the canvas texture and then print on the textured papers.

    imagine being able to 3d print blobs of oil paint and getting a true three-dimensional recreation of your digital art.

    Does the nano pixels look (effect) show only if printed with Rebelle or still show and can be printed with another software like photoshop when saved as a jpeg or psd file ?

    You "Started with 5" by 6" " in Rebelle, as you say. I didn't get the dpi used in Rebelle. I assume it was 300 dpi meaning 1500 px * 1800 px, right?
    Second issue: if you print an image painted electronically on canvas (with canvas structure showing on electronic image) and you print that on physical canvas, don't you get moiré artifacts? If so - how to avoid?

      Export a file without the canvas/paper texture.

Looking into the Rebelle 6 pro instead of photoshop... been having not such a great time with Photoshop and preset issues and not having a great time getting support to resolve the issue, 4 hours later and 4 agent and all just disconnect me everytime ..very sad and frustrated.. hoping to have a better time looking else where.. QUESTION about the brushes?? can I download other brushes from my favorite artist and what they made?

    I too would love a link to his website. I have googled Dan Snipes printing and found nothing. Dan Snipes photography only takes you to a gallery page with nothing about printing.

      Dan Snipes is mostly retired now, but we recommend checking out Art Print Express: www.artprintexpress.com/
      It is another company we have a long term good cooperation with.

    Will there ever be PPI adjustment as DPI and PPI are completely different, where dots per pixels (dpi) are for printing pictures hence the term DPI, while PPI is the pixels per inch are for digital pictures to be displayed and shared which arent an option for me to adjust? I noticed a lot of art software do not have a PPI adjustment except photoshop and Clipstudio paint. And, the only use for dpi is for image printing and not for canvas adjustment. :(

    • @potatosalad5355

      DPI and PPI is the same... because DPI was coming term in the beginning of desktop publishing era.... and the Injek/laser printer and flat bed scanners.... that time was VERY confusing time..... then time pass and some "snob" guy correctly change the Dot (pixel) per Inch. to....Pixel (dot) per Inch... But in end of the day they are the SAME

      @@potatosalad5355 Oh, wow, I didn't know this.Thank you for this! I was seeing some videos before on it and realized how each program lacked pixels for some reason which makes them not as good as photoshop or clipstudio paints processing? I do not know why, but I got rebelle either way for the realistic mixing colors all other superiors art programs lacked and the traditional feel since I was a traditional artist for years, before switching.

      The Pro edition offers Color Management where you can soft proof colors to avoid color changes when printing.
