I've been a digital artist for 5 years and I've been working my best to simulate how paint works in real life in the common digital programs. I just purchased your program today and I legit had a tear in my eyes when I laid down the paint and it felt AMAZING. Seriously, you guys are amazing
Rebelle is the best and nobody knows about it. You guys need some kind of American director of marketing or something... My heartfelt congratulations to all involved, this is magic!

Painting equipment and paint is so expensive, Rebelle has changed it all for me, I can paint for hours and not a single penny spent on any paint and paper.... and extra work of tedious cleaning and all is also gone...what a time to be alive as a painter.. just because of Rebelle.... Love for the developers of Rebelle... you guys have made painting so much fun.
Thank you so much! I just got Rebelle and although it's pretty intuitive to use. I did not know about some of the specific features. Some of these new features blow my mind. 😱
can we get even thicker brushes? like palette knife drawings, 3D esc, popping from the canvas... i really truly love the textures of the acrylic paints and i think even thicker paint brushes would be amazing!
Rebelle has several options how to increase the impasto for Oils & Acrylics. Read our blog post on how to work with texture: www.escapemotions.com/blog/enhancing-your-digital-paintings-with-textures-in-rebelle
@@EscapeMotions the already existing features is great but i think even thicker than this would be fantastic! incredibly thick and textured would be awesome... like 2x if not 5x more thick than the current brushes we have!
I can't get the Paint and Blend option to blend that well. I realize you need low pen pressure to activate the blending, but I have to have an extremely light tough to get it to blend. It goes from no paint (because I'm using such low pressure) to basically just painting one color over the other without much blending. I hope that makes sense.
Pen pressure sensitivity can be adjusted in the Edit > Preferences > Tablet and also in your tablet settings. This should help with the blending. You can also adjust the pressure curve for paint modes of each brush in Brush Creator > Paint section.
Sadly, I have not found ANY solution to making a file export directly to photoshop as indicated in the video. I've checked the forum nobody seems to have a solution. In fact, many people have complained of this as an issue and still no resolution. Perhaps this can be explored and resolved in a future update, unless there's something I'm missing.
You can either save your project as PSD and open it in Photoshop or use Escape Motions Connect (Photoshop plug-in), which is available for users owning PRO edition. Please refer to these installation instructions: www.escapemotions.com/community/forum/c/143/rebelle-escape-motions-connect
Hi, you did work on a surface pro 7 with rebelle, my problem is that the surface pro 7 get's terrible hot, did you experrience the same problem and do you have tips about that? thank you
I have just bought this program and am following along with your video to get introduced to it. I noticed you have length in your tool options for watercolour and your brush pallet says Watercolor 7.1. I don't have either of these showing. Is there something I need to click on or initiate to have these options? Thanks. Great video.
You can bring up the Lenght and Pressure sliders from the menu in the Properties panel. The default brushes in Rebelle 7 were updated in version 7.1, therefore those who had version 7 since its release tried to differentiate these updated assets. If you are using a version later than 7.1 it contains the updated brushes.
@@EscapeMotions Thanks for the fast reply. I bought this program within the past week. So should this be appearing? Or do I need to go to the properties panel and switch it on. But this is the latest version. 🙂
hello, I think quick fill brushes for color pencils-charcoal (multiple strokes) are missing in the default brush collection to make is great also for charcoal could we get acetone effects brushes?

I can't work out how to get several panels to show on the screen at same time..as in Layers and Colors for example. Similar to what your demo is showing. I should add I am brand new to Rebelle so my question may have a very obvious solution :)
In the Window menu you can select which panels you would like on canvas and then you can dock them to the left, right or some to the top of your canvas. This tutorial might be helpful: ruclips.net/video/dObHwpHwvlM/видео.html
You can ajust the speed of watercolors in the visual settings. The feature is called "Diffusion speed" and can be found in the watercolor section of the visual settings tab. Have fun 😄
You can turn off nano pixels then, Justice told us that in a group painting session. Nano pixels require a significant amount of ram and CPU power. I for example turn it off when painting on the 7gig ram laptop in school. Otherwise I can also suggest lowering the dpi of your painting, making the canvas smaler, paint less at any given moment. This all contributes to how fast you can render the painting

At the moment the desktop versions of our software are compatible with Windows and macOS only. It does, but you have to pay for the app. It's called "Easy Canvas" from the app store. Allows you to plug in your Ipad into your Desktop and use Rebelle 7. GL.

can we expect in next update symmetry tool?
