yeeees! This is good news! Both your return and a the new brush set! :D Love it all! Welcome back, Daniel, even though you've been around over on Escape Motions :)
@@ai-man212 It really is. I've been an oil painter for 30 years (I started really really young). But, I've only dabbled in watercolor over that time period. So, I've got a lot more ground to cover to be as competent. But, I do agree that their watercolor is unbelievably fun.
Great video! You mentioned that the Rebelle brushes were also available to download in your Domestika class? I am taking your class but havent seen the brushes, and as far as my search goes... I dont think is possible to import the photoshop brushes over to Rebelle.
The brushes offered in your domestika course, which I have just purchased and downloaded, are in .abr format only. But it appears that Rebelle cannot import or use brushes in this format. I am therefore somewhat confused that via a Rebelle tutorial, you would recommend this method for acquiring your brush set.
I have purchased your Domestika course but I did not get Rebelle brush set yet, only showing Photoshop brush abr file. Please tell me how to get rebelle brush set?
So how do you get the ABR file in the Domesitka course to work with Rebelle? I do not see any other brush downloads than the Photoshop one in there and from what I know Rebelle doesn't work with ABR?
I made a forum topic for the class. If you go to the class forum you'll see a brand new thread with the brushes as a downloadable. Let me know if you can't find it!
Thank you for your work Daniel and that you share your experience. I really like your style. I want to switch from Photoshop to Rebelle 7. I think your Domestika Course is only for Photoshop?! DO you plan do do a course for Rebelle? Or is the course also usefull for Rebelle?
@@bifty9 I would love to do another course for domestika using Rebelle! I'll have to reach out to them and see if we can get that going. But for this moment, I think the concepts in the class definitely translate for whatever software you're using. Since I've made custom brushes for rebel as well as Photoshop I think you would have everything you need. I use Photoshop only as a painting software. So everything that is done in Photoshop could easily be adapted for Rebelle
Hi, I just came across your channel. I bought Rebelle 7 pro. It doesn't work with my Ipad pro. How do you paint, do you use a pen tablet or a tablet with a screen? Any suggestions on what to buy?
@@tanjakooymans8438 hello! Oh, that's a tough recommendation, I think it comes down to what kind of devices you already have in the house. If you have a good laptop or a good desktop. It's a natural thing to just go grab a cheap tablet. Something like the XP pen Deco. Are you comfortable drawing on a tablet or do you prefer to draw directly on a screen? If you give me some hints about how you like to work and what your budget is I'd be happy to try to recommend something based on my experience!
@@DanielIbanez Thanks for your answer. I've been painting on the Ipad pro with procreate since 2018. Before that I painted with the mouse in photoshop. I think I'll go for a pen tablet for now. I also saw that it's possible to use your ipad with EasyCanvas as a drawing pad. I can try that too.

The brushes look great, Daniel! Thanks for the demo as well, beautiful painting.
I am so happy to share!
I literally tell everyone I know who is interested in Digital Art to take your Domestika course. It's amazing.
