I am finally back from focusing on some really important family time and now that I'm here... I just wanted to share with you how wonderful this digital painting software is. Being that Daniel has been using Artrage for so long, it shows how far Rebelle has come along these last few years for him to sound genuinely excited about the software
I've spent a lot of time (and some money) exploring painting software. I've landed on Rebelle. It does it all, and it does it best.

@@DanielIbanezYes I like that one! And nothing against Justice, who does the videos for Escape Motions, and seems a nice dude, but he just kinds of putters around making blotches. He's more a a tablet/tech optimization dude, and I'd rather see Rebelle's features better presented by a working artist. I feel like it would benefit their brand to do so.
Justin is definitely a great guy! I hope to do some collaboration with him in the future!

Hi Daniel, thanks for posting. I am very new to digital art and wanted to pursue this as a serious hobby to start. I bought artrage for iPad and searching tutorials for Artrage, I came accross your channel, so glad to find you here and loved your videos and your explaination. I want to purchase a desktop version as there are limitations on iPad, but am not sure which one to invest into Artrage or Rebelle 7 Pro, if you can guide me, I will appreciate. I want to primarily oil paint but I dont see any recent videos on Artrage (they are all 1 year plus old) compared to Rebelle where I see a video almost every day and even you posted for Rebelle 7 pro.
If I need to invest only 1 software for oil painting specifically, should I go for Artrage desktop or Rebelle 7 pro?

That's a great video topic. I asked Daniel more or less same thing.
Owning both & knowing what each program can do, I personally use Rebelle (pro version), significantly more than Artrage.
Until a video: for oils only... Artrage by a hair. It honestly comes down to preference these days. Both are excellent at oils.
However, watercolors & even just drawing/sketching... Rebelle pro by a significant margin (my humble opinion).
I like Rebelle more than Artrage for oil painting. I think it's easier to tweak the brushes in Rebelle and there's more customization compared to Artrage. I'm very picky when it comes with my brushes reacting to my pen pressure, etc so I prefer a program that has a lot of custom options. I also prefer the impasto look on the thicker oil paints on Rebelle more. But it's all about preference. I believe both programs have demo versions too so you can always play around with them first before making a decision.
I followed the link to your courses. I didn't see any for Rebelle.
I've many years working in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD but I don't know the basics of digital painting. Do you offer classes for basic digital art. I can't afford subscription software.
