    Got a new pc on order. Corel has locked my license of Painter, by chance watching one of your nice videos I looked up Rebelle. It's an anniversary sale! I've just bought Rebelle 5 Pro and Flame Painter 4 for $10 each! Ten dollars!. Thanks to You!

    Great instructional video. A tutor who actually shows you where to click, where the button or slider is instead of just saying click here on a video size you can’t see.

    Wesley, thanks so much for the time and effort you put in to help budding artists like myself. As a frequent user of Rebelle 3 and 4, and now 5, I think this product must be close to being the market leader now. It makes Corel Painter look and feel so dated now.

      Neilwin, thanks so much! I agree, Rebelle is the standard when it comes to "traditional digital tools" in my opinion. Tons of flexibility, but not so many options to be super intimidating!

    Just upgraded to Rebelle 5. I also started on Rebelle 3. It's a great program and so underrated. With the PS plug in they are definitely trying to get into more production art studios. Love the feature up grades. I'm going to start turning out some time lapses to spread the word on Rebelle. Thanks for leading the way👍

    Thanks. The introduction part helps a lot to understand the new features. For me the Photoshop Plugin was a great step forward too.

      New Rebelle user - bought the pro version after looking at 6 or 7 other drawing/painting tools, and being unable to make up my mind! It was the last on my list so I tried out the demo. Five minutes into using the demo- I went and bought it!!! Thank you for this - learning it has been a blast and your video is awesomely helpful!

    So basically pigments mixing function saves the needed saturation in colors. Doesn't allow them to transit in gray-scale
    I already appreciated the function
    Before that I only saw similar function in Realistic Paint Studio
    Now I use RPS on ipad, and Rebelle on my stationary PC
    Sincerely think that other programs and graphic design studios went too far with their artificial brushes and functions. It's nessecary to combine both real world and technological approach to create a fluid natural workspace.
    That's what I respect the most.
    Needless to say I also noticed that no matter how much you enlarge the view of canvas you just don't see those pixels anymore.
    Crazy

    Thanks, Wes!
    Quick question: is there a way to use the reference on a layer and record video without that layer being seen? I like to drop my reference on a layer and use that as a guide for the layout and image. Then I turn it off and paint. The problem is, while most artists know that we don't need to prove we can draw, perspective clients might see it as "cheating" or "tracing" as opposed to "saving 5 hours".
    So, is there a way to record through Rebelle 5 without showing a specific layer?

    • @EscapeMotions
      @EscapeMotions  Год назад

      Hello Van, thanks for your question! Have you tried the Reference Image Guides in Rebelle 6? You can show your ref. image directly on the canvas, add guides to it and when recording, none of this is visible in the final video - only the things you paint.

    Hey Wesley currently Rebelle 5 Pro is avaibile in my country at around 13$. This the biggest price drop I have ever seen. Should I buy it?? 😅 I already have Corel painter 22, But this price of 13$ is making me buy it....

    Are these effects only on Rebelle 5 Pro "pigments color mixing"? Or could I get that effect with the basic version?

      @@EscapeMotions Thanks, finally I have found the details table. I am mainly interested in the reasons to upgrade from version 4. Frankly speaking, I just found 2(!) small differences in that table… IMHO, this not worth an upgrade, nor does it justify a full version number. Why is there a 5 and 5 PRO version anyway? BTW, I even had the reduced upgrade price and the easter coupon, but I did not make use of it. Simply because I see no benefit in 4->5 , and I am confused by the extra version Pro. Sorry.

    Good job for not showing properly the colour mixing feature like mixing yellow and blue to create green on the canvas.

    Does the pigments button work with all color sets or just the oil pigment sets?

    • @ArtOfWesGardner
      @ArtOfWesGardner 2 года назад +1

      From what I've experienced, it's all color sets, and all media types! It seems to be more of a "blending mode" rather than something tied directly to a certain brush or color set. I'm able to use the Color Wheel, color select from a reference, and use custom color sets, all with the Pigment button active. Hope this helps!

    • @bdlapierre
      @bdlapierre 2 года назад

      It works for all the brush set it an overall setting. It is not only a blending improvement it is more realistic blending : blue plus yellow = green. And colors pigments from saturated to less saturated like paint.
