    This is so cool! Today as my husband and I were eating cucumbers grown in our backyard. We were talking about how yummy and refreshing they are. It's hot here in florida, so the cucumbers hit the spot! We grow bananas, coconuts, and now delicious cucumbers! Who knew they were so good for you? 🙂😁😎Thanks Dr. Livingood!

There are other nightshade vegetables I cannot eat but this one I thought at least if I bought it organic I would be able to eat it but I can't I even tried the organic European cucumber. I also have to be very careful with tomatoes peppers especially sweet red peppers and any other hot peppers forget it.

  • @SamanthaGreene-ll5dw
    @SamanthaGreene-ll5dw 6 месяцев назад +2

    What about the lectins? It contains high lectins and they are in the seeds.

    • @DrLivingood
      @DrLivingood  6 месяцев назад +5

      Overall I would not be worried about eating lectin containing foods unless you know you have sensitivities to those foods. Processed food, sugars, and bad oils are way more important to focus on. Many of the foods containing lectins have a lot of health benefits to outweigh the negatives for most people. Lectins can also easily be minimized by fermenting veggies, sprouting nuts, and cooking the grains/beans. -LGD Team
